Ed, and his crew came and started each project when they said they would be there and cleaned up each and every day. They always asked questions and showed me when there was issues. They are still working on my deck would expect there not to be any issues.

    Roof Smart of SW Florida
I wanted to take this opportunity to express my complete satisfaction with roof smart. After doing significant research on my own accord, I finally reached out to Roof Smart. From the initial consultation and throughout the roof replacement process, Frank went above and beyond to keep me informed. Frank was always available to answer any questions that I had. The crew were very professional and the install was done in an extremely timely fashion. I doubt that you would find such a thorough job with any of the competition. From start to finish they kept the debris to a minimum on the property. The end product is fantastic. Usually, I do not write reviews as English is not my native language. In this case though, I could not let it go as I was completely impressed with Frank and the Roof Smart team. Furthermore, this is a very big investment. I wanted to share my experience to alleviate any stress for others when choosing a roofing company. Thank you Frank and Roof Smart.

DURALOC WENT FINE,  THE ROOF AND SOFFIT REPAIR WAS A REDO AND SHOULD HAVE BEEN FOUND THE FIRST TIME.  THEY HAD TO TEAR OFF THE TILES , REPAIR THE UNDERLAYMENT RECOAT THAT SECTION AND REPLACE THE DAMAGED SOFFIT.  THE SOFFIT REPAIR WAS NOT DONE CORRECTLY.  THE WOOD IS WARPPED AND A PIECE IS MISSING CREATING A HOLE THE SIZE OF YOUR FIST. ALTHOUGH DAVE TALKS A GOOD STORY HE DOES NOT STAND UP TO HIS WARRANTY ON WORKMANSHIP.  HE WAS TO FINISH THE WORK OVER THE SUMMER, HE HAS NOT. FROM 6/23/15 TO 5/5/16 THE HAVE BEEN 43 TEXTS WITH PROMISES BUT NO RESOLUTION.  I WOULD NEVER REFER HIM TO ANYONE.

    Goodwin Homes and Construction Services
Brad Goodwin was responsive. Bid the price and stuck to it. Quality work. Noted a roof leak which I had to have repaired by a company which he coordinated and followed work of roofer through to completion. Took photos for roofer to document the leak. Would use again and recommend to others.

    SOUTHERN SOFFIT INC
The estimator didn't make us feel comfortable that they even wanted a small job...(replacing facia and soffits),
After looking at the work, to be done,I had the feeling that the home wasn't up to their standards and that the job was too small.
    We chose a different contractor.

    Hewitts Home Improvements LLC
Eric and his team did a wonderful job. All my expectations were met or exceeded. The final cost of the job was within 3 to 400 hundred dollars of the initial bid. I was made aware of the adjustments to the final cost immediately with pictures via cell phone. From the day of the bid to completion of the job was less than three weeks. Eric's team are professional, knowledgeable and friendly.
There was one minor problem I noticed after the job was complete (detached piece of aluminum drip edge). I emailed Eric on a Friday with regards to the problem afternoon-- That following Saturday morning a tech was at my door (with a smile) to fix the problem. A few weeks have elapsed since the project was completed and I'm still getting complements from my neighbors. Overall doing business with HHI  Inc was a pleasure.

Salesman came to house and told us things that did not occur. eg: someone would come and go over the color of the siding, We could us the front door we wanted. Someone would be over to measure the roof.
We the crew came to install the windows, they told us our door would not work, they installed one of their doors and said the salesman would call us to work out a price.
The color of the siding was not as the salesman said, white was ordered, the color chart left was a blue gray.
    The roof went fine.
We had several issues with the salesman, Earl who was very obnoxious and beligerant and finally the manager, Guy had to get involved and then everything was fine.
We would definately use this company again as long as Earl was not part of the deal.

    Roof Smart of SW Florida

I'd like preface the negativity of this review by stating I'm pleased with the quality of the work performed.

    HOWEVER!

Chris and Erin Tuthill wrote the original contract proposal to include all wood and custom work. Subsequently at one point, I was told and additional $750.00 would be required for wood to toe in damaged fascia. Additionally, that shingles would need to be replaced. I did not agree to this (Chris told two of us there'd be no charge) and work proceeded. Upon inspection of the new fascia a friend and I noticed parallel creases in  brand new(less than 1 week old )windows and screens. The same height  on both sides of each double hung window screen. Chris told a friend and I that the damage was likely caused by ladder edges with human weight on them. We were assured at that time Roofsmart would replace those damaged screens. The four day job became a week before they had finished. When the bill arrived for the original proposal, Roof Smart added $500 in additional wood and  new shingle repairs. Three people inspected the roof and all agreed there weren't any new shingles. Not to mention any notification of replacement of the damaged window screens on the bill.

I returned the bill with my concerns and John from Roof Smart made a personal appearance at my door! He wanted me to be alone and not have my friend( who's probably had more construction experience than the entire Roof Smart team) there with me.It became apparent why when all 3, showed up on my doorstep. Fortunately, I wasn't alone! According to John there was no way ladders could make the indentations in my screens. Chris denied ever saying his crew or ladders caused the damage. John said the screens were bent by the installers with their thumbs as they bent them into place. I personally have tried this and found it impossible! Besides, post window installation a week prior 3 people inspected widows and screens top to bottom and found only one tiny rip which the window company pointed out and replaced.

Upon contacting the window company about John's claim they provided me with documentation as to the structural integrity of the screen frames used. This was issued after they physically and visually inspected all windows. It empirically stated that the creases could NOT be cause by hand strength but would require additional weight and sharp object to crease them. I included this report with my payment to Roof Smart. When the inspector came to review the window installation, I asked if he could schedule and inspection for the Roof Smart work. Thus far no record of a permit was filed by Roof Smart. Perhaps they didn't need one, but for some reason everything in Fort Myers seems to. John did discount my bill by $200. which will cover the new screens that he claims not to have damaged by his crew, when half a dozen people now know they did.

    All in all

Am I pleased with the work? Yes

    Unfortunately

that's the only positive from this Roof Smart fiasco!
