Tire Buying And Repair reviews in Fort Myers

    Walter's Auto Service Center
Gave me a great quote and was very informative on my car, did not push me to buy anything I did not want as I am a 23 year old girl. Most people would have tried to scam. Will be using them again in a few weeks!

My tire pressure warning light was on. another business told me 3 months ago, I would need new tires for 680.00 Will helped me, my spare tire was low, which I had no idea it had a sensor in it as well. I asked about needing new tires. I told him about my service with another business months before. Thanks Will, no new tires needed! Maybe check again in 3 oil changes. Honesty is huge with me. My business will be here in the future!

I was there about a year ago.  It was expensive.  They were expensive tires so I went some where else and got them cheaper.  It's like when you go to get an oil change, it takes two hours.

Charlie and CB at Bayshore have been taking care of our cars and motorhome for over seven years.  They have always been honest and fair with us.  My spouse is disabled and I am not mechanically inclined so I have to rely on their word and work to keep our vehicles in good, safe working order.  They have always come through, even if it meant sending me somewhere else when they didn't have the expertise to provide a needed repair.

On a recent oil change and tire rotation, they noticed the brake pads were getting thin on our SUV.  They told me a percentage of how much of the brake pad was left and an estimate of how many more miles I could go on them before there could be a problem allowing me to make the decision of whether to replace them or not.

High quality, trustworthy mechanics are rare so I feel fortunate to have these guys close by.  I highly recommend them.

These people wrote the book on customer service. I went in yesterday for 4 tires & ac check. I decided to wait for the repairs. After they diagnosed the ac as needing a condenser and as it was getting late, they offered me a free rental car from Enterprise. Free, no hidden charges. I also had them check the brakes which they said were fine. They also did an oil change & checked the alignment which turned out to be ok. Friendly service. They have earned my trust. I will never go anywhere else.

    Firestone Complete Auto Care Store

I had originally taken my car to get an oil change here back on March 23, 2015. When I went to Napa Auto Care Center (see other review) on 8/5/2015 to get my next oil change they told me that when they tried to take the oil screw out the welded bolt broke from the oil pan and that it was beyond repair. Now David who works here and used to be the previous Firestone Store Manager  told me that this was a result of it being overtightened by the last people who worked on it which was Firestone. Since he was familiar with my car I trusted what he said and took it back to Firestone to resolve the issue.

Since Brandon the Firestone Store Manager was on vacation that week I was attended to by Josh the Service Manager on Sat 8/8/15 who said I would have to leave the car there so it can be inspected. Well, I received a call back the same day and he said that after the inspection it was not a result of their error and that he could only give my 25% off the over  $500 repair job to fix it. Folks, that didn't sit in well because I had already purchased the parts at my local Auto Zone  in case I had to put it in myself. This is only a $70 oil pan part which is held on with about 10 screws and with the oil and gasket it came to about $145.00. They claimed that according to the books it's at least a 3hr job or more. On top of this I couldn't even get my car back on Sunday and had to wait until Monday until the Store Manager arrived.

By this time I already had enough of the finger pointing and back and forth on who was responsible for the damages. I called the Firestone/Bridgestone President's line who by the way is Mr. Steve Crum at 630-259-9630 (alt phone# 630-259-9000). You won't get him directly but at least his team of people will resolve things. My ref# was 2146528 and they took down all the information and would pass it along to Rose who was the Area Manager. It was agreed that I would pay for the parts but not for the labor since we really didn't know whose fault it was for the damages.

Later that day, the Firestone Store Manager Brandon called me pretty quickly and said that he received notice from the Area Manager to get in contact with me. He toldl me that the parts would cost $144.99 and that they could have the job done that same day and that since I would not be charged labor that would be all I had to pay.

It's interesting how people jump when they receive a message from the President's office. I have bought all my tires from Firestone and bought their lifetime alignment as well as have taken it there plenty of times. Shame on them for not helping me out further on this and having to take it all the way to the top. I will have to strongly reconsider whether or not I will continue to do business with them. It all sounded like a big cover up and quite frankly I didn't care whose fault it was but that they should just treat loyal customers differently.  At the very least, I should have recieved a follow up call to see how everything was and they didn't even have the courtesy to do that. I guess the only reason why I didn't give them an F rating was because the issued got resolved.

These people are great. I started going to them a little over a year ago. Now I service both cars with them. They are very professional and do good work. They don't advertise much (don't need to) but are well known in the area. Very convenient location on Metro/cross with Daniels. Good party. Clean, tidy and very functional waiting area. Excellent service. I really like the quality of work that they do. Our cars are old (96 Jeep and 95 Toyota). Yet, both have been very well maintained and detailed over the years. The quality of work that Pam's Auto Works does keep these vehicles in top shape. Very happy with the quality and timing of service. Would highly recommend them to those that looking for continued car care.

I am extremely pleased with this shop and highly recommend.  I am a single mother and have 3 vehicles that I consistently bring in for service.  I trust them to tell me JUST what I need and perform the work completely and compentently.  Finding a mechanic that you are confident in is extremely hard.  The team here always treats me with respect and gives me straight information, allowing me to choose what does and does not need to be done.  And their pricing is always fair.  Again, I recommend them without reservation and they will continue to get my business!

    Terry Wynter Auto Service Center
I found that the price for the tires that I bought were comparable to other tire retailers in the area and the service as always was outstanding. My vehicle rides better than it did when I first bought it after having these tires installed, balanced and an alignment completed. It was all done in under an hour and a half which I really appreciate. The staff at Terry Wynter's Auto Service Center are always polite and professional which makes my 20 minute drive to the business worth while.

They did not ask which tires I wanted, they just put 4 tires on my car.  Within 30 minutes 2 were completely flat.  I have had those two changed, or so they said.  I now have to put air in my tires every day.
