    Fellow dug up a good portion of lawn to find where the water break had occurred. Lots of sweat! He finally found it and immediately began repairing it as, to my knowledge, well as could be done. Job took around 3 hours and price was extremely fair. Would definitely call on American Plumbing again.

    Initial visit the plumber saw that I had Kohler fixtures and told me that I can call Kohler and get free replacement parts. The plumber gave me the part numbers I needed, I called Kohler, and had the replacement parts in a week. Called david Grey to make an appointment to install the parts. Only had to pay for labor. Saved over $200 in parts - because of their recommendation to call Kohler and to not use the parts on the truck, they saved me $$$. Would use them again in a heartbeat

    Honesty with Advice garnered from years of experience as a general contractor. From the initial consultation with Mike Buckley of Island Paint & More, through the end of the project, and even afterwards checking in to make sure we were happy with the results he and his crew at performed. I felt like he was advising me with the care & sensibility he���d pour into his own home. Mikes guidance right from the get go was sage. Giving us the ideas and solid workmanship we wanted, while steering us clear of industry pitfalls and foolish expenses. From the roof repair we had to have quickly after the hurricane a couple years back. Then later repair & painting our exterior stucco home. And most recently restoring our home to better than new after the plumbing had failed causing multi room damage. The man takes care of you. Listening to your needs and to your budget constraints and stays by your side through the whole project. He came from a military family so he understood working with us through a deployment situation. You can get anybody to fix your home, but this guys sensibility is a throw back in time coupled with the latest knowledge.

    I really wanted to do business with Action but they made no effort to get my business. I made an appointment for 2/19 and they called 2/15 to rescheduled it to 2/20. Then they called me and told me they needed to reschedule my appointment on 2/21 that I never had. They called back and said they would be out on 2/20 at 5:00 after I told them to just cancel my appointment until I could be off work again. I raced home from work and waited. And waited. And waited. At 6:00 I gave up and called it a night. They made no attempt to call me and let me know they weren't coming and basically wasted my time. Total disregard and lack of respect for my time. I will be doing business with one of their competitors. I guess they didn't need a $15,000 job. Their loss.

    So far so good. I was trying to get a few more years from the 8 year old tank. They were running a little late, but we're good to call & keep me informed . No problems, it's been a few months since I had this done. I don't remember the techs name, but he seemed to be knowledgeable & efficient. I'm satisfied.

    I had a sink that needed to be hooked up, NOT a tough task. Two supply lines and a P trap. I've done this before. The task should take no longer that 45 min. Their "plumber" was on site for 1 hour and 45 minutes before I received a call telling me it was missing parts. Then I was told that a pipe was broken in the wall. Strange however as the sink was working before they touched it. They however broke a pipe in the wall then did not take responsibility for it. The owner ( Tommy Clark ) Told me to: and I quote: " my guy did not do that" I then said that the Granite guy had pictures and that he did not do it. So what was my recourse? He then told me to " F**k Off " I told him that He was an idiot. He THEN told me " F**K YOU Very much and hung up the phone. These people are not professional. STAY AWAY at any costs. They tried to make money from a simple job that should have been easy.

    We called CCMP to see if they offer a free estimate on a new water heater install , and they do which was a plus right away. We called several other plumbing companies ,and they either wouldn't give us a free estimate ,or we were given an estimate over the phone which we knew the cost would be more because they didn't know what additional things might be needed over the phone. Jeff from CCMP came out, arrived on time, gave us our estimate, and throughly explained everything. He was even able to replace our heater the same day he came out to give the estimate. We did need additional fixtures but that was so the new water heater was up to code. Jeff definitely had a sense of urgency, he worked fast on getting the old unit out and putting the new one in. You could tell it wasn't his first rodeo. I just want to let the owner of CCMP know he has an awesome employee. We know we will be using CCMP for any future plumbing needs.

    Metro Rooter was suggested by our real estate agent as the cheapest way to inspect a septic system at a house we were considering purchasing. Long story short, the experience was horrible. On the day of inspection the inspector told our agent and the homeowner that there were only a couple small issues and that the system passed inspection. The homeowner agreed to fix the issues and sale went into contract based on that verbal report. Then, for two weeks or so our agent could not get in touch with anyone to get a copy of the report. Then one day I get a call from our agent telling me she finally got the report, that it said the septic had to be completely replaced to tune of about 10k and the homeowner was getting ready to cancel the pending sale. This amounted to alot of STRESS on our part. As we couldn't trust this report, based on the huge disparity between verbal and written report, we were forced to hire another company for another report. Low and behold this report came back in 24 hrs and confirmed that, besides the minor issues noted in Metro Rooters report, which had already been fixed the septic system was fine. We have been living in this house for months now and no issues. My firm belief is that either there was a complete breakdown in the inspection process or Metro was trying to drum up business by saying we needed new tank and field. Either way, this situation caused much stress and cost me an additional 475.00 by hiring a separate company. I would not under any circumstances hire this company for any business, especially inspection of septic fields.

    Extremely thorough and professional. Absolutely trustworthy and honest. Vinney kept me informed and up to date at every level of the job. They also do a fantastic job cleaning up. Would most definitely use Vinney and his son again. You won't find better than these gentleman!

    It worked out fine except for one thing. I'm calling them back to do something else understand. But my feelings were a little hurt because it was a deal and it was supposed to be for so many hours. And I had written out a couple of things I wanted him to do. But the guy did the main thing that I wanted done. I had a leak and he did stop the leak in the toilet. But he seemed to be in a hurry so he didn't do all the things I wanted him to do so my feelings were hurt and I kept thinking I wanted to go with the deal and that's why I paid that kind of money. So it didn't work out.

    I'm pleased with what he did do but I wanted him to do other things, so that part didn't work out. But since then, I called them again and they came out and they did something else for me and they did a good job.

    So I don't know if I want to say it's a complaint, but next time I am going to have to be careful with a deal like that, because if they are supposed to stay so many hours, then I am going to expect them to do it. 

    He did go upstairs and checked the shower that had a leak. but I was thinking he was going to do the 2 hour thing, but it didn't happen. It was just that he didn't stay the allotted time. 

    I would give them a C simply because of the timing on it, that's all, but the work they did would be an A. but the timing on it would be a C because I paid the $149 for the time and expected them to stay the time. He finished very fast but the work that he did was good. He acted like he was in a hurry when he came and then he said he had another job, but I'm thinking I paid you for this job.

    They did quality work. I just have that one complaint. He came right on time to do it. I did use them again, number 1 they are in the neighborhood, and number 2 even though he didn't stay the allotted time, he did a good job.  

    The only thing I would say to any company is to stay true to the advertisement. Even though they were good, I just had my little list wrote out and I had things I wanted them to do in that allotted time and it didn't happen. But other than that they did good.
