  • Ocean movers sent 3 men to move household items from storage to my house. One stayed in the truck, one went in to move boxes and one hung outside on his cell. When I told the mover in the truck that I could not afford to have him standing around the mover with the cell phone got aggressive with me and shouted, approaching me with arms waving. He went into the unit and began to move my things at which time he removed packing blankets and threw them outside on top of huge load of spit that he had just spat on the ground. He then began to throw my moving boxes, breaking glass. As if that weren't enough, he climbed up to the top of the unit and pulled a box box from the bottom and all boxes came crashing down! He broke so much antique glass and shattered so much fragile belongings that I told them to stop unloading the truck and I would hire another company. They delivered the boxes they had already loaded to my house but I would not allow the swearing, aggressive mover on my property. He paced around the cul'de'sac arms waving madly shouting "Clay county is the most racist county in Florida". The company refused to give me the name of their insurance carrier even after I showed them the damaged boxes and broken glass. They adjusted the bill by $85.00. My interaction with the woman on the phone was almost as bad as that of her worker. She said she fired him but I saw him on my block a month later. Beware Eagle Harbor, Fleming Island or anywhere people live who value their things.

  • Sunway is our regular moving service provider. They have variety of vehicles that fit for any type of shifting whether residential or commercial. We have very good experience with them so far and look forward to work with them on long term basis.

  • They did both jobs in record time (the second job was in the pouring rain) and were extremely careful with our antique furniture (that I was nervous about). They did a great job taking everything apart and loading the pods as efficiently and safely as possible and then moving us into our new house. I need to say that when I called to set up a day for them to come back and unload our pods they were fully booked up, but they made it work out and were able to come on the day we needed! I was so thankful because they did such a great job loading us up that I was scared to let anyone else unload the pods. They were amazing and I would recommend them to anyone!

  • Nate and Josh were AMAZING! Very professional and punctual. They arrived early and worked until the job was done. They didn't take any breaks except for a few minutes here or there to eat. They were very careful with all of our items and padded each item individually. I was impressed with how organized they were. They kept all of the hardware in a separate box where it will be easy to find. They were prepared with all of the right packing supplies. They went so far as to dust furniture prior to packing and to help us move a few pieces that were staying in the house as well. They were friendly and had no problem packing around our busy toddler. I can't say enough good things about these movers. We would use them again and recommend them to our friends.

  • They are hard workers. They had to do a shuttle move due to the mountains. It took them two days to move me in. They put everything where I wanted it. They damaged a few things but paid for it in the end.

  • There was a lot of damage. Right now I am working through it with them, but they have been very slow on the update. I was extremely disappointed in their service. It is a family owned business. I have had to manage all of the repairs and I still have not had any resolution on it. They sent two men to move my things, they were not on time, and they also ended up conflicting with a woman that was moving into my area who had her people on hourly. It cost her more expense. The container I had required 6 men to do the job and they sent 2. We lost lights so they had to come back in the next day. I have glass pieces that they did not reverse before packing which shattered. He would not help until I threatened to post a review on google, then he offered to send a check after I find the company to fix it. He wanted me to find a national company to do the repairs.  He never lifted a finger. I had to find a national company to do it and get a report from that company to send back to him that stated these stains were not going to come out. If I knew they were going to behave like this I probably would not have done this. The guys were really hard workers. They made me pay the balance before unloading anything, which was a real signal to me.

  • My prior moving experience with Brothers was great! So easy in fact that in planning a current move they were the only company we called. The teams were wonderful to work with. Scheduling was easy and the team of movers that arrived on moving day was right on time, the truck was clean and we moved from one apartment to another with no issues. I highly recommend the company.

  • The sales representative was prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable. We used the same company to relocate from Fort Lauderdale to the Jacksonville area four years ago. The estimate came in at a competitive rate, but the whole process was so much better than the other movers it was an obvious decision. It all went downhill from there. The driver and his crew were two hours late, without calling. Upon arrival, they immediately broke for lunch. The driver was unfocused and unprofessional. Rather than helping the crew load, he dawdled around our home randomly selecting items to label. This meant the rest of the crew had to wait on him to label the boxes and write their contents on the manifest. The loading itself started well enough, but as the day wore on, they became more careless. The driver's wife came over to pay him a visit, and he mentioned their anniversary was the day he was set to bring our items to our new home. He asked me if I minded if she came with them. What was I to say? 10 hours later, they drove away. They did not wrap all the furniture and they almost missed a few things, like the dining room table, and the master headboard. The day to drop off rolled around and they did not show up on time. I called and the dispatcher got the driver to call me back. Apparently when he arrived in Tampa they local office did not schedule adequate crews to unload. He would be at our house the next day to unload. This was within the company's estimated window as they said they would drop our items either Friday or Saturday. The next day the truck arrived on time. The crew immediately got to work. The driver handed me the manifest where I supposed to inspect each box, match it with the label, and insure there was no damage. It quickly became clear that the majority of the items were simply not labeled, or were labeled incorrectly. What was supposed to be a lamp was actually a bike. The label for the bookshelf was on a kayak. I am not making this up. After handing me the manifest the driver explained that it was his job to pay the work crew and that the company had not given him the money. He had a company credit card and he needed to go to an ATM to get the money. He promptly dropped the trailer and drove away (with his wife). They were gone for more than two hours. The unloading crew was great, but they were getting more and more frustrated with both the absent driver and the fact that the truck had been packed so poorly. Item after item was pulled from the truck with damage. Rubbermaid bins were accordioned, furniture was scratched and broken. It was a mess. When the driver and his wife returned (pretty sure she had a fresh neck hickey-not joking), they immediately got to work, not helping unload so much as blaming the loaders and the unloaders for the whole debacle. We could not wait for them to leave. I immediately called the representative who was so nice and professional when he estimated our move. I had to leave a message as it was a Saturday. He did not call me back on Monday by mid-morning. I called him again and he was contrite, professional, and absolutely useless. He gave me a phone number for their claims/insurance company and said that they would "make it right." I never heard from him again. The claims/insurance company was efficient. Not personable, but efficient.

  • They were excellent--all of the guys were very pleasant and careful with our belongings. The owner, Jim, came out personally to give us an estimate that was very accurate and was also there both of our moving days. I highly recommend Helping Hands Movers.

  • Everything went smoothly! Had to move stuff from 2 places! Very professional even fixed a ding in the wall at the new house!! Made sure everything was what I wanted...they would have done even more for me if I wanted (ceiling fans, tv hook up) Had 3 guys so it helped with all our stuff.  They were great and I would use them again for local move!
