    No show. When I called, he said he was tied up downtown. Didn't even have the courtesy to call and let us know. When I mentioned calling another company, he said it would be a good idea. Apparently has too much business to care about gaining another customer.

    This was a great experience. The hygienist was very thorough and gentle. I have a small mouth and xrays usually hurt, but not when they do it just right. They have a 3D imaging system that is like the I-Max for teeth. Never saw this before. Dr. Kraich was wonderful and explained after asking for my input, about a complete plan for my challenges. I have very old metal fillings that were cracking molars from pressure. I am a teeth clencher and grind teeth at night. Dr.Jessica Kraich had to fix a recent crown from my last dentist in Georgia that was affecting my bite. She then gave the gentle novacaine? shots.  I never even felt the needles. That was a first. I hate needles! I won't be nervous next time with this Dr. The assistant was calming and funny as well. The office is beautiful and super clean which means a lot to me. I am coming back in May all the way from Charleston,SC to do the other 2 crowns. Then I will have a completely corrected mouth. Dr. Kraich also fixed my TMJ nightguard without a charge to fit better with the crowns. My last dentist should have done that. I highly recommend Dr. Kraich and the whole staff at Island Dental on Fleming Island. I am a retired principal and grade them 5.0 or straight A's.

    Staff was very thorough and professional. They were able to dramatically improve on the prescription when an optician around the corner was unable to. Very patient with a sincere desire to be of service.

    We've been with them almost for a year and a half. They haven't figured out how to bill us correctly. So we always get incorrect bills. When I called them the other day to discuss the bill stuff, they had me on hold for almost 20 minutes. I called them back a couple of times and they refused to answer the phone. The work they do is good.

    The doctors there are awesome. If you don't mind having to deal with some office problems. Went to get blood work done doctor was insistent I get it done (rightly so) I ended up walking out without my blood work done. This was because we had new insurance (new being around 6 months) and after husband driving all the way out there several times and showing them the insurance paper he printed off (the new insurances version of an insurance card.) and the process of things going through the insurance fine

    . Quick run down of  my experience with the final interaction with office person that made me decide I had to change doctors offices. (Was feeling bad, had a terribly hard week but got myself there the day the nurse said I needed to for the doctor to go over my blood work before appointment. After minimal effort to run insurance through receptionist has melt down, screams I can't do this I need help. Tells me well you can pay but otherwise we aren't doing it. I said I just got medicine put through you know it's good... right before this other employee comes out and says well her husband showed me an email (the paperless insurance card) that's how I did it.. I had a phone number and that worked. (did not keep number did not copy paper) shrugs walks out. I went to ask her what number she had called to see if I had the same number on my phone when she had the melt down and mind you after being on the phone two times for me. This would be unacceptable at any office but I had been going there for almost ten years. And though that was the rudest any ones been there to me that is not the first unpleasant experience. Doctors are awesome, most of the people there are contrast walked into Quest at around 7 am still had to wait for around 45 minutes or so but got called over, presented the printed email with insurance info the lady took that and my drivers license copied it. Took couple minutes for paper work, took me back and got my blood with no problem (and that is not easy with me) was out in 2 to three minutes more. So if you don't mind getting  into it with some one... or driving out again and trying to get your insurance straightened out it might be ok,,I love the doctors there I have major anxiety about going to doctors and changing doctors is something I dreaded. My daughter is heart broken because we've been with them pretty much her whole life she says she won't get a flu shot from the new doctors office because she feels comfortable with people she knows.

    I had been seen six months prior by another optometrist around the corner from Dr Blalock. She had told me that she could not improve upon the progressive lens glasses prescription that I already had. I was ready to reluctantly accept that as a fact of aging until my wife suggested I get a second opinion from Dr Blalock. I am very glad she did. Dr Blalock was much more thorough with his exam and gave me a prescription which has enabled 20-20 vision. And much better night vision. On something as important as your vision it pays to get a second opinion if you're not satisfied. Now I'm thankful daily of Dr Blalock's patient and thorough professionalism. Very caring and educated in his profession. Strongly recommend.

    I am usually very reluctant to leave negative reviews. Keep in mind that Dr. Tamsett-Schmidt may have just been having a rough day but I feel compelled to relay a few facts & observations. After a rather hurried 5 minute eye exam Dr T-S stated that in effect my vision was the best it could be and that she could not improve upon my current glasses prescription I had received from another optometrist 5 years prior. Also my eyes were dilated and I felt I had been given an excessive amount of dilation chemical because I ended up having to take the remainder of the day off due to eye aching and inability to see to drive for about 4 hours even with sunglasses on top of sunglasses. I was disappointed but accepted her analysis of my vision and chalked it all up to another misfortune of aging. I am over 60 but in excellent health. That is until my wife suggested I see another optometrist just around the corner for another opinion a few months later. What a world of difference. He took about three to four times as long to give a patient and detailed eye exam. With my new glasses which are progressive lenses like the original I can now see 20/20 again for the first time in years and much better at night. Doctors are human and it pays to shop around to get satisfaction on an issue as important as vision. Again I give Dr Tamsett-Schmidt the benefit of the doubt and maybe there was a miscommunication or something but I am glad I checked elsewhere.

    I like my dentist. I don’t like dentists at all but I kind of like going there. They are very gentle and very understanding and it’s almost more like going to a spa than going to the dentist. They treat you really nice.

    Everything was done in a very professional way and the procedure was explained to me before it was done and during the procedure which made me feel more confident as I have had problems with dentists in the past.  The dentist and everyone in this office go out of their way to make me feel as confident as possible and less apprehensive of any procedure being done. Best dental environment ever.  Have recommended this dentist and her staff many times to my family and friends.

    But for the fact that the Dentists was running late and I sat in the waiting room for almost an hour, the staff at Carlson Dental are very courteous and professional. I had crowns done and so far so good.  The office is clean and pleasant to be in. The filling went smoothly, I have had no dental issues after having major work done by Carlson Dental. I would recommend them to anyone and plan on going back myself.
