    Everetts Custom Renovations LLC
I can not speak highly enough of Jason Everetts. He was honest, professional, communicative, reliable. A pleasure to work with. Jason managed independent contractors (like flooring install) as well as did his own work (painting, doors trim, etc). Went above and beyond - picking up material, taking care of small unplanned details, etc. without additional cost. NO expensive "change orders". There were more problem's with this remodel - none Jason's fault - than with any other project I have done. But Jason dealt with each issue successfully and enthusiastically. As an absentee owner (I live in Orlando) it was a pleasure to have Jason take care of the project. His price was extremely fair. Worth every penny. I have done several remodels. None has had a better manager than Jason. I would use him again in a heartbeat. He gets the highest recommendation I could give. If you want someone to do a great job at a fair price, and communicate with you... then choose Jason!

We had 2 outdated bathrooms completely gutted and remodeled. They arrived when scheduled with no delays. The work was excellent and worth the cost. The cost was in the range we expected to pay before the estimate. Highly recommend Lee who was the person responsible for the remodeling work. Personable, courteous, and does excellent work. We have done a lot of remodeling at different homes and this was the best experience. We have them coming back to put tile in our master bedroom.

At first I was accepting of Towne Constructions work. They did not run an additional electric line to support additional lighting added to the kitchen, but merely tapped into the line for the microwave. Now, every time I run the microwave the lights in the kitchen and dinette dim with each cycle of the microwave. Truly annoying but I accepted their explanation that it would require a new circuit box with larger capacity. Another electrician has now contradicted that. In addition, the bathtub plumbing leaked, which they had to replace. Then, a few months later the grouting in our master bath had to be replaced because it was falling out. Two months after that the grout in the kitchen was doing the same. The ceilings along the tape lines in the rooms where they pulled down the popcorn ceilings had to be repaired as they were cracking out (we hired another contractor to do this). Now, we find that they did not properly level the dinette floor when installing the tile, choosing instead to build up the floor under the installed surface tiles with 1-3 layers of the same tile packed in underneath. Of course this flooring had to be replaced-the new contractor actually taking pictures of this sub-standard work because he had never seen anything like it! As far as I am concerned, this group has COST us money with all of the rework we have had to do over the last few years!

Work took six weeks as predicted. Matt, who was on site everyday, was fantastic. He was on time, cleaned up as he worked, communicated everything effectively as the job moved forward. Matt was very precise doing the work and aware of our questions with thought out answers. I would love to have him do any work for in the future.

Instead, working with Mike was nightmarishly surreal: written floor plans and pictures of cabinetry sent to Mike never seemed to make it to the guys on the job. This resulted in almost every single task done onsite having to be redone. To add insult to injury, Mike often billed me for change orders for work that had to be redone due to contractor error or was included in the original contract. When I say that tasks had to be redone, I mean that walls were constructed in the wrong places and had to be torn down and rebuilt. A soffit was constructed, then torn down and rebuilt because it was the wrong size. A hole made in a wall to accommodate a new doorway had to be patched and another made in the correct place for the door. A built in bookcase had to be torn out and rebuilt because the original one was nothing like the picture I had provided as the example. Paint very expensive paint was applied over peeling wallpaper. The painted wallpaper could literally be stripped away by hand. Example after example of tasks that had to be redone. Of course, the job wasnt completed on time or under budget, even accounting for the incorrectly billed work. And those bills for change orders! Those included tile work done in the master bathroom and on the stairs and the disposal fee for waste all included in the original contract. There were other issues too: no one showing up for work at the last moment, a leak causing damage to the ceiling below, and too many others to list. Things finally came to a head when the workers were pulled off the job for reasons I didnt understand. You can imagine how disturbing this was to me: I had paid Mike as provided in my contract, but workers were not on the job because as I now understand - the subcontractor and Mike were having a spat. What Mike had done was very clever: Mike made a contract with me to do the work, then subcontracted it out to a man I had never met. The reason my floor and cabinet plans werent properly carried out on the first try is that Mike was not onsite doing or supervising the work and he had never forwarded the plans to the people who were. The subcontractor doing the work was having his own troubles with Mike. So my advice to anyone considering working the Mike Towne or Towne Construction is to BEWARE. This man, while capable of doing good work, NOW makes money by securing contracts with unsuspecting homeowners and then subcontracting them to others people the homeowner may have never met - for a lower fee. In my case, Mike Towne did NO QUALITY CONTROL, NO PLANNING, NO TIME MANAGEMENT, and HE DID NOT LOOK OUT FOR MY INTERESTS AS THE HOMEOWNER. Save yourself trouble: look elsewhere for a contractor.

I emailed Billy on a Saturday, and he was out to my condo for a quote on Monday. He provided expert advice as we walked through the unit and had a very reasonable quote back to me in a day. He fit me into his busy schedule and had the work done in 2 days. His team did excellent work. I'll definitely hire Warner Painting & More for my next project.

    Prestige Painting and Restoration
A professional job with a very professional and courteous crew who take pride in their work.  From the walk-through estimate to the walk-through at the completion of the job Prestige Painting and Restoration were detail oriented and clear about what work would be performed.  A comprehensive contract, listing all work to be performed along with estimates, made the scope of work clear for both parties.  As they worked, we asked if more jobs could be added as the quality of their work was outstanding.   We also had a simultaneous plumbing issue, and Prestige Painting and Restoration were flexible to stop working in one part of the house so that a wall could be opened and the plumbing fixed.  They then repaired the walls with a really beautiful smooth drywall job and continued the painting.  The crew at Prestige Painting and Restoration is hand-picked and you will get honest, polite hard working people who you can trust to do a perfect job, and more importantly, who you can trust in your home.  They stay busy, so get on their schedule now if you need work done!

One section of the exterior of my home was badly cracked to the point where the gap in the stucco was at least 1/8 of an inch. Mr. Willis came out within a few days of my contacting him and left an estimate of the work he felt needed to be done. When performing the work, he and his helper were very professional and even pulled back the mulch from the area to prevent it from being damaged. They were very careful around the existing landscaping. He identified the cause of the cracking and caulked around the window where moisture had been leaking in behind the stucco. He did an excellent job of matching the color of the stucco and when he was finished, the wall look brand new. They did an excellent job of cleaning up upon completion of the work and pulled the mulch back. Except for the fact that the wall no longer had any cracks, I could not even tell that anyone had been at my home. From start to finish, all work was completed in about 1 week. Willis Stucco came highly recommended to me by Seda Construction and now I know why. They were very professional and did excellent work . I would definitely use them again.

It went well. I think the job could possibly have been finished a little sooner if more of the the work days had been full days, but the project was large and mostly complete in about 4 weeks.
