    Christopher Franklin Service
**Note: The Professional Construction Company is who I called for service, but I signed my contract with Christopher Franklin Service, they're the same company** I contacted this company in an effort to resolve a drainage issue that had previously washed out the underside of my existing driveway, and add a culvert to the base. Prior to work and payment, TPCC was extremely responsive and friendly, and quickly earned my trust. I was assured repeatedly by Charles that they would do a few things to make sure I had a great driveway. Those things included 4000 PSI concrete, and fiberglass fibers in the concrete to help hold it together and help prevent cracking. (Realizing that I don't hold them responsible for normal concrete cracking, that is to be expected over time and with changing weather.) We entered into a contract on 1/12/18 to remove and replace 78 feet of my driveway, along with installing a culvert at the base. On March 26, 2018 I still had a huge bag of construction debris sitting at the corner of my driveway waiting to be picked up, despite having repeatedly notifying them of it's presence. The driveway itself was poured and "finished" on March 5, 2018. They came and retrieved the construction bag on the evening of March 26th. This was the last time I succeeded in getting a response from Charles regarding my driveway. On March 17th I had let Charles know the driveway was again washing out underneath, and I wanted to AGAIN contract with them to make changes to whatever areas necessary to solve the drainage issue and protect my investment in my new driveway. I made no less than FIVE phone calls to attempt to get their assistance. All of those calls went unanswered. I gave up on trying to do business with TPCC, and let it go...but I didn't realize at the time that the driveway was contributing to the problem. I'll get to that in a minute. Fast forward to September, 2018. I've contracted with landscapers to attempt to alleviate the water/drainage issue only to learn that the fall of the driveway (North to South) is largely responsible for the damage and should've been addressed by the company installing the driveway if they "knew what they were doing." (Landscaper's words...not mine.) He also suggested I get another concrete contractor out to survey the driveway and make sure I got what I paid for...so I did. The other contractor did a thorough inspection of the driveway, apron, and culvert. The apron and culvert were done well, and to quote the contractor..."because those are the parts that are inspected by the county." That's correct. The only part of my driveway that is of high quality is the part that was reviewed by a county inspector. 1) The driveway finish is very poor. Many sweeps going in different directions, and waves in it. It looks...well? Bad. 2) The control joint at the base of the driveway is crumbling and getting worse. The other contractor suggested it's a result of a poor finish job. 3) I have spalling (a hole, basically) forming in another spot in the driveway, where your finger can go at least 1.5" down, and it appears it's not even concrete. 4) Based on the hole and other areas inspected by the other contractor, it appears my driveway was NOT installed with fiberglass reinforcement, as promised repeatedly by Charles. 5) The washout under the driveway has led to an East to West (up and down my driveway) crack in the slab with washout beneath it. I am now unable to use my driveway for fear of it collapsing completely. Calling them is pointless. They don't return calls once they have your money. The worst part is that I wasn't even going to make a big deal out of the crappy finish job, or even the waves. I wanted help with the spalling and cracking on the control joints and they told me it was "normal," and that "concrete cracks where it wants to." I verified that this is NOT cracking. Their choice is to ignore me instead.

    Royal Green Cleaning Services
Everything went well I kept putting it off and got lazy and hired them. Maria was excellent and super quick. It would have took me a whole week to get my basement done. I will be hiring again for other services as I was really pleased with the first job.

Best Garage Door Service by John Parisian
John quoted me a resonable price over the phone, when it finally came time to installation, John came out and provided a new estimate which was slightly higher than the original estimate. I reluctantly agreed to his new price. When it came time for installation, John was not able to complete the job we agreed on. When the doors were delivered, John brought out his assistant, who he later told me she was a drug addict but "enjoyed watching her work". On the day of installation, he brought 2 workers with him. He was not able to complete the install the first day because he claimed his workers were "incompetent". He came out a week later with his drug addict assistant and informed me that he was unable to connect the wires for the garage door openers because he cannot clearly see the wire connections. After nearly 2 months of him attempting to complete the install, the garage door is still not installed properly. The doors are rubbing, the windows are not level, the tracks are not level, the bottom seal on 1 door is destroyed from his improper installation. I gave him plenty of opportunities to correct his mistakes, even meeting with him off site to discuss the corrections needed with his promise of "doing whatever it takes to make it right". John has every excuse in the world of why he is unable to correct the problems, but is not willing to. I highly recommend everyone avoid John. John claims after this job he is now fully retired and hopes no one will ever call him again for garage door installations and service. Unfortunately, I will have to pay another company to correct his issues and hopefully, I can recoup my losses when I take him to small claims court.

    Precision Door Service
Dan arrived on time and began by evaluating the current (very old) door mechanism. He gave a thorough explanation of his assessment of the existing condition. He replaced all rollers and lubricated the door. I asked about an approximate cost to replace the door and was given a detailed estimate wth several options explained. He also followed this up with an email with the deatailed estimate attached.

Best Garage Door Service by John Parisian
I called Mr. John Parisian and he answered the phone himself.  He was on vacation out of state at the time of my call.  Even so, he wanted to hear what  the problem was.  After my description he knew exactly what the issue was and we agreed that I would call him back the day after he had returned from vacation to set up an appointment.  We were in no hurry, so this was fine.  I called him back the following week and he came out the very next day.  What an experienced, knowledgeable professional!  He arrived punctually with all the right parts and had our problem fixed very quickly.  He explained everything that was broken, why it was broken and how it was going to be repaired.  He replaced a number of parts, including several large springs, reset the timing, and lubed everything up.  He also gave us a remote control that we were missing (the previous owners had lost it).  He made sure everything was in working order before he left.  It's very rare to find this type of service provider nowadays.  I doubt we will need garage door services again .....but if we do - we wouldn't call anyone but Mr. Parisian.

    Dave's Fence

The salesman, Mike, was professional and provided excellent service.

Scheduling was prompt and even moved up a day.
After completion, I noticed a warped gate that we had not noticed as a part of the initial walk through, but Dave's repair and installed a new gate free of charge.
We are very happy about our purchase and six months later, still looks as good as new.

    Good Guy's Garage Doors

He arrived on time and replaced the springs and rollers with speed and efficiency.

I asked him if he could order two new panels for the door to replace the two that I dented, by accident, when I backed into the door several months earlier.  ( I'm a senior citizen. Give me a break.)  He said, "The door raises and lowers with no problem.  It isn't necessary to replace those panels, and the cost would be in the hundreds.   You don't need new panels."  I told him the dented panels just didn't look very nice.  He put pressure on the "offending areas"  and straightened it enough that the appearance is just fine.  He saved me several hundred dollars.

My door is about 16 years old. When it needs to be replaced,  I know who I'm calling.

Best Garage Door Service by John Parisian
This gentleman was an old pro. You won't find anyone who knows more about garage doors or has more integrity. If I must be petty, I will pick on his attempt to move my 100 pound motor bike by the seat (which is a no-no)because it was in his way. He should have asked me first. And for his own safety he should not wear loafers when climbing a ladder. Those are the only silly criticisms I can muster up.

Best Garage Door Service by John Parisian
He was great - knew what he was doing, explained each step to me. Did not charge me anything additional to replace the mounts which I didn't even know was a problem. Our garage door is quite and runs like new and only for $200 when other places were telling me I had to have a knew one and quoted me over $1000.
