    Our Whirlpool gas dryer stopped heating over the weekend. After trying to self-diagnose and fix the problem, we contacted Appliance Tech Services, who had stellar reviews on Angie's List. The owner, Lazaro Pollanco contacted us first thing Monday morning and despite a solidly booked schedule, made the effort to fit us the next day, driving clear across town in the peak of rush hour to make the appointment. It took Lazaro all of 5 minutes to diagnose the problem, which turned out to be a bad thermal fuse and unlike so many other service providers that we've dealt with in the past, actually had the parts on hand to replace it.. Lazaro also gave us some essential pointers and safety precautions on our electrical set-up and venting. Bottom line, can't say enough about how professional, friendly and efficient Lazaro was. Definitely know who to call the next time an appliance goes out on us.

    Horribly. Appt was scheduled for the next day from 1-5, did not show up on time, and tried to cancel. They finally showed up around 8pm, pretty much just said it was broke, nothing else. Would need to order part, and set up time to fix. Part would be in in a few days, but wouldn't be able to schedule a time to fix until 3 weeks from now, and total cost would be nearly $300. Even though the appt was initially scheduled the day before, now it is going to take 3 weeks to get back out. Again, this was a nearly new machine, used for the majority of the time by one single person. Could not wait that long, so paid him a service fee of $100 for 5 min of work. Called Sears the next day, they ordered the part for us, and were very friendly. Said that the service center shouldn't charge you for the appt, and should be able to get this done much sooner- forwarded us on and said to ask for the manager. Once transferred over, the service manager was completely rude, unhelpful, and combative the entire time. Wouldn't help at all, said we would be charged the full amount, wouldn't be able to get out there any sooner, had to fight with them to get a time set for three weeks from now, and almost refused to give us an exact time. This was a company that was referred to use on the original purchase, and is a horrible affiliate to represent your company. So the bottom line is the machine cost around $1000, worked for a little over a year, needs a service repair of at least $300, and horrible customer service and repair. Would not use again, or ever recommend. The service center was the South Florida Services 5890 NW 173rd DR Hialeah, FL 33015

    I was assigned this company by my extended warranty provider. My first appointment was scheduled last Friday. I confirmed the appointment and my contact information that morning. When I called at 4:45 I was told the tech was at the house, saw another service provider, and called the homeowner. That is a lie. We received no phone calls. The appointment was then rescheduled for yesterday between 10 and 1 pm. I again called in the morning and was assured tech would call 30 minutes prior. I received a call from dispatch at 12:14pm stating the tech was at my house and had called 3 times and was leaving. Again, a LIE. Only call received was from dispatch. Tech refused to wait 10 minutes for my husband to arrive. I have filed a formal complaint with Assurant Solutions. Company is not reliable, not honest, and unprofessional.

    HORRIBLE!! A huge waste of money . Terrible contractors sent to your house $75 each time. They do not replace items that need replacing. They make you wait for service calls. For parts. For everything. Once the part is there they find out it's the wrong part. Parts not covered and you have to pay. Technicians do not show up on time. They also say that they don't have time in their schedule, You are on hold for at least 45 minutes when you try and reach a representative. NOT WORTH IT! HUGE mistake. Wish I had the money I spent.

    Great! Freezer diagnosis was free since Lazaro could clearly see a frozen block of ice in the bottom of freezer, clogging the drain. He was able to defrost and fix in about an hour. And he was friendly with my dogs!

    They scheduled to come on Monday and said they would call before arriving. They called at 11am and arrived 10 minutes later (they had two prior appointments that morning). Boris (note: the company has only two people - John and Boris) arrived, inspected / tested different items for electrical currents, and gave an estimate. I approved the estimate and 45 minutes later, the fridge was cooling properly. Now 24 hours later, it is all hitting the right temperatures, both in the fridge and freezer. To top it off, he got my icemaker to work again at no charge!

    as others stated, Charlie personally answered the call, took down my information immediately and informed me that he'd be seeing me later in the day.   As he said he would, he called later and gave me about a 25 minute heads up that he's on his way.   Without going into too much detail, I'd like to just point out the dichotomy in todays for hire labor force. There's those with a moral compass, an ethic of whats right and what's wrong; and those that will only do what's in their self serving interest.  There's no question where Charlie stands in this debate.  Charlie, did a great job of fixing my dryer and then some.   I will be using Charlie for anything he's willing to fix moving forward!

    It went terribly!!!! She promised to sue me and pay for another one of her vacations if I left bad reviews (which I promised I would do if she didn't do the right thing and refund my money)  
    I called them and gave them the model number for my high end dishwasher before they came. They came and told me not to bother because its 10 years old. I pressed them to just look at it and they seemed annoyed. Then Keya just started naming parts like "its the main controller board" - I responded that the water flows after unplugged (did it to demonstrate) - she immediately responded "controller & inlet valve". Swiped my card and left.
    I followed up several times for a quote for my landlord. I got the terse "I'm really busy and doing the best I can!" and finally when pressed "can't find parts"
    They knew the model number before they came out. I feel they knew they were not going to attempt to fix it. Keya seems to have a habit of making excuses (see other review responses)
    Thankfully, the unit got fixed without them.
    I NEVER call out a business online because I know people can have a bad day and it shouldn't haunt their business. That said, I have been hustled so much here in South Florida by shady service providers, I feel like I need to step up and do my part to not only protect other customers but to help the ones who are truly honest and do a good job.
    So now, I get to wait for their lawyer to call me and take me to court for "defamation" and "extortion" - She claims to have paid for her last vacation this way. (see attached)
    That should tell you that I'm not the only one and there are probably countless more that are silent because they are afraid of the hassle of being dragged into court.
    This is disgusting and a total abuse of the legal system. All over $75, such a waste of the legal system.

     They were a no-show for 3 scheduled appointments.  First time they called the morning of to say the technician called in sick.  The second time they were scheduled to come between 1:00 and 5:00-at 4:05 I missed the call stating they were going to have to reschedule-it is impossible to get dispatch on the phone.  Third time they were scheduled to be at our house between 1:00 and 7:00.  NO-SHOW!!!  The technician, Yousely Rodriguez, reported that he called both contact numbers and no one answered.  This is simply a lie.  My husband nor I received any calls.  Three days of missed work! I contacted the company and unfortunately they are not responsive and appear not interested-very unprofessional with poor business practices.
