    When I called to schedule an appointment the gentleman could not have been more professional. He stated they would be here this morning between 9:00 and 11:00. Brandon called a couple of minutes after 9:00 to ask if we were available. He was there within 15 minutes. Very professional in his manner, started the machine and when it started to spin, he knew immediately what the issue was. Had it fixed within ten minutes and it worked like a charm. Stated if there was any problems to call and they would come back out. Free of charge for a month if we needed them. I can not say enough about this company and the service they preformed. I would not hesitate to call this company again. No wonder they received a service award in 2016. Thank you again!

    They were ready to schedule to come out the day I called, but because of my schedule I had them come out two days later. He was very professional, he thoroughly explained the error codes on my machine, showed me the problems, and explained how the wrong detergent amounts and large load sizes would affect the machine. He clearly explained everything, and I would highly recommend him.

    Side by side fridge and freezer compressor had stopped working. He
    replaced parts to see if the compressor would restart. He told us if it
    did he would charge only for the parts and service call and if not he
    would send us refrigerator shopping since cost of repairs would be over
    $600.00 and not worth repairing an old refrigerator. He looked and
    determined ours is 12 years old and they usually last 20 years. We are
    hoping for a few more years before having to buy new. My Mom called early in the morning and he was here at noon. He had parts needed on truck, was friendly and knowledgeable and we will definitely use his service again.

    I had contacted Allen's Appliance Service Thursday 09.25.14 as soon as my washer stopped draining.  The company was able to schedule an appointment for me the next day.  Jim W. was the tech who came to assess the situation and was VERY helpful and knowledgable about what was causing the washer not to drain.  He didn't have the part in his van, but gave me an estimate of the cost and told me that he would be back on Tuesday 09.30.14 with the replacement part.  (He said that they don't like to schedule appointments until they have the part in-hand).  Jim W. called Tuesday, said he had the part, and would arrive within 45 minutes.  He was right on time, repaired my washer, and told me that I have a 1-yr. guarantee for the part that was replaced.
    The cost of the part was a little less than $200, service fee $129 (minus $10 savings for being Angie's List member), and the balance was the cost of labor.  Jim W. was an excellent tech: he explained everything to me; arrived on-time; his work was clean and thorough,  and he took the old part with him.  Jim also told me what to do to ensure that I have many more years of use from my washer.  He even gave me some maintenance tips for my dishwasher!  
    Allen's Appliance Service is an EXCELLENT company and I would certainly recommend them to anyone in need of competent qualified appliance repairs.

    My side by side refrigerator freezer stopped working and the freezer side defrosted overnight.  Having no cash and calling several other service places who did not accept credit cards I landed on Bob Conrad's Appliance repair.  His service call is $35.00 period as he says and he takes credit cards. I explained my problem and told him refrigerator was still cold and he explained that it too would start warming up because the freezer is what makes the refrigerator side cold, too.  Even tho this call was at 5:00 pm at night he said they would get here as soon as possible.  Within 10 minutes of hanging up one of his service technicians was calling me to give me an estimated time of arrival which he beat by about 15.  He pulled refrigerator out from the wall and discovered the compressor was not working.  At that time he said it could just be the circuit board since everything is computer these days and that would be $217 for the part. He also said if he put that part in and it did not start up he'd be telling me to go buy a new refrigerator because the expense of a new compressor wasn't worth it.  He went to his truck where he had parts, brought the new board in and installed it and thank God it started right up.  He said it would take about 2 to 3 hours for it to get where I could put stuff back into it and it dropped ice from the ice-maker in about an hour. The total bill was $217 not $217 plus the $35 which is what I expected him to say.  He was pleasant and knowledgeable as well as prompt.  The part is guaranteed for a year.  I had originally spoken to the owner, Bob, and he said he'd get one of his men to come and if none could he would come himself.  About 30 minutes after the repairman left Bob called me to make sure someone had fixed my appliance.  I was pleased that he cared enough to follow up.  I would definitely use this company again.  The phone number in the local phone book was New Smyrna but the bill has a Ormond Beach one with no address so he evidently covers a wide area.

    Larry ran a little late because he had gotten a flat tire along the way and was waiting for a tow truck to get him. He checked in to let me know it was taking longer than he thought but he would be here. He arrived at my house, came in got busy, explained to me the problems with the fridge and what he would do to fix it and did it. ( Most of us after sitting in 100 degree heat on the side of the road waiting for a tow truck and late for an appointment may have a sour attitude... Not Larry!) He was kind, sincere, and professional with a wonderful southern charm! Thank you Larry!

    my refrigerator was fluctuating in temperature and it finally got up to 65 degrees. i called Don and they said he would be over in about an hour. an hour later, he showed up. he looked under the fridge, said it was a bad relay, replaced it and was done. he was only here about 20 minutes and everything has been fine since!
