    Michaelsons Appliance Repair Inc
The technician was very knowledgeable and took time to explain the cause(s) for poor performance (clogged gas ports and a faulty heat sensor ). Michaelson's ordered the necessary parts and made a return visit several weeks later to complete the repair. Michaelson's provided excellent service from start to finish.

    Better Homes Appliance Service Inc
On first visit, the technician discovered that the problem was with the electrical block that connected the dryer electrical cord to the machine. He ordered the part and said they would call when the part was received. They called and scheduled another appointment about a week later. However, I received a call that day that they discovered that the part they received was defective and they would need to order it again. Then the delays started to build up. It seems that the part was not available anywhere. After I called a few times, they called a competitor and bought the part from them. Once it was received, they came out and quickly installed it. The dryer now works fine. To their credit, they gave me an additional discount on the repair cost due to the delay. However, it took two weeks to locate the part and I felt that they only tried the competitor part approach after I pestered them a few times since we were tired of going to the laundromat. Having said all that, I believe that we would use them again since they properly diagnosed the problem and got it resolved.

A Arnie's Dependable Appliance Repair Service Inc
After Sears told me the configuration could not be improved, Arnie's tech changed it all around, added a new exhaust, new hose and made it all work in the space 1000% better! And the price was right! Having used Arnie's in the past (I was vacationing in Paris, my dryer broke down, I called Arnie's and they fixed it with a $20 part when I had thought I'd be shopping for a new dryer from Paris!), I had ever confidence in their professionalism and would trust them with any repair. This job only validated my belief that they are the best!

    Appliance Man Sam
He claimed the company was out of business. Quoted an absurd amount for a part from China. I found out the company is N business. I brought this to his attention the next day he said I made a mistake. He charged $99 for service all and did nothing but give me a quote for a bogus part that would take 27-180 days to get here from China knowing I would find that unacceptable but he still got his money.

    Bob's Appliance Repair
Kithen Aid Fridge defrost timer relay was failing. Bob came right over (within 1/2 hour) to check it. It needed replacement. He was able to get it to run though, but he will have to replace it. He will be back in a few days (its a Holiday weekend) to replace it.
Not only did he drop everything to help save our fridge full of food, but he refused any payment until the job was completed and done right.
I cannot tell you how thankful we are to him for doing this on a Sunday for us.
As for his attitude, and demeanor-he came across as a competent, and easy going man. And didn't burn a lot of time with jibber-jabber. He came, he saw, he temp fixed and will be back to finish. What else could you ask for?

    Mr. Appliance of Tampa Bay

We asked them to look at our maytag washer  front load    ( we used for about 14 months and then power surge broke it) - they indicated it would be more than  500$    While the tech was there he noticed our older whirlpool  and offered to purchase it from us for 50$      ( which had a bad agitator  )

We did not make a decision that day      A few days later my husband called them and said  we would like to fix the old whirlpool-

the tech said he could come by to get the parts  #s  as he was in the areas -   which he did.

He told my husband  the new agitator and water inlet  would be  319$  and the charge for his visit  79$

We  decided  to fix the washer ourselves   - which took us less than 1/2 hour and under 100$ in parts

A Arnie's Dependable Appliance Repair Service Inc
My dishwasher had stopped getting the dishes clean. The dishwasher is not that old so I decided to call for an estimate to get it fixed.
I sent an Angie's List message on 12/10/2014 for A Arnie's to contact me for an appt.  They called me back the same day and set up an appt for the following day. The service call fee was very reasonable and I could apply the fee to work performed.  I also printed a coupon from Angie's list for 10% off.  I was called when they were on the way. They arrived on time and in the time frame given to me. Jim arrived and went right to work.  He was very professional and friendly. He determined  the problem and gave me a price.  He took the dishwasher apart and cleaned it all up.  He didn't tried to sell me anything I didn't need. He cleaned up his mess when he was done.  The dishwasher is now getting the dishes clean like new. I would definitely use A Arnie's again.

    Mr Rogers Appliances of Tampa
They're good with purchasing used appliances. For the repair, they were a little pricey. They had to come back and fix it later. It's as much as a brand new appliance or a used appliance. I would use them for buying appliances but not for repairs.

    Class Appliance Center
Danby gave me contact information for two companies for warranty work on my Danby portable dishwasher. I checked them both out on Angie's List and Class Appliance had a much better rating so I called them. It required two visits because the part required to fix the dishwasher had to be ordered from Danby. Two different fellows came and both were professional and friendly.
My 6-month-old dishwasher is working better than new.
