Been taking Dogs there for 9+ years with no problems. Had taken a dog to another Vet in Live Oak who said nothing can be done, Dr. Smith examined and prescribed medicine, ask us to change diet, he lived to 15 years. Since then they have treated 5 other dogs we've had most everything a dog will get into and at present we have 4 healthy and happy dogs. We trust them, I wish some people doctors were this good.

We've been very happy with them. They are friendly and the dog is very happy.  He growls and has to be muzzled with everyone else but them.  They are always on top of whatever issues he has.  The staff are awesome, they're obviously pet people and the animals can see that.  They are also real careful about getting our dog in directly to an exam room because he growls and doesn't like other animals. He's big, so he intimidates people and other dogs.  They've also been real careful about making sure that if there's a generic medication we can get through an actual pharmacy, they send us that direction instead of having to buy it through them.  Their price is good and we have insurance.

At first they were great.  However over time it's gotten worse.  Most recent blood panel for elderly dog cost $40 more than local vet.  We have four dogs and recently split 2 at one and 2 at another to compare service and cost apples to apples.  By far they were more expensive and not better care.  Recently tried to order medications for flea/tick online and they want $11 per prescription for outside.  I'm sorry but that's it.  All four of my dogs and three cats will no longer be going to a money hungry vet. No more vaccinations, rentals, or anything now and will completely tell everyone else how they care more about money than your pets.  Last call about my Mandy Vet left message about another dogs issues not mine which completely freaked me out!!!   How can they have no idea who they are calling before leaving personal medical info on wrong voicemail.

All went very well.  I was a little apprehensive about vets in the local area but took two of four here and left others at last vet for comparison. They have been very professional and taken great care of my pets.  Medications thru them can be HIGH so shop around and know what to expect for costs before accepting their charges.  My pets have been pretty happy and for the local area they can't be beat.

    LIVE OAK ANIMAL CLINIC
I want to specify John, because they have small animal clinic there too. Dr. John is knowledgeable, friendly and he has a conservative approach to get the job done. I've been in horses all my life and I've had some vets where you go in and say, my horse is slightly off and they'll run a whole CBC blood cultures and they do every possible thing they can do along with X-Rays and ultrasounds and you come out of there $3000 later going, yeah, he's got a stone bruise. John on the other hand will say, let's watch him, okay, let me test him, looks likes it's this. So here, lets go the conservative approach first, do this and this. If in 3 days you don't see a difference we'll need to see him back and we'll do the next round of stuff.

    ALL SPRINGS VETERINARY HOSP
I visit the Live Oak office. had a disappointing visit with a previous clinic I had gone to for years. I am so pleased with Dr. Barker and all of his staff. His name fits his business perfect. I will go to this vet as long as pets own me.

    LIVE OAK ANIMAL CLINIC
5 month old kitten had a upper respiratory infection. The Dr. explained how they could have got sick and how to use the medicines they prescribed for him.. They seen me on a Saturday, very early, promptly and they were very polite, friendly and thorough. I will definitely use them again.

    Caring Hands Animal Hospital
Everyone at Caring Hands, from the person answering the phone when I called to book the appointment to the person that checked us out when we were done, were very professional.  Dr. Leslie and the veterinary tech were very attentive to our cat, Jasmine.  Their veterinary hospital has earned the "cat friendly" status, therefore, no one was concerned when Jasmine started walking on the desk and the computer keyboard.  Everyone greeted you with a smile, were efficient in their respective jobs and I will continue to bring all my cats there. Caring Hands is not the closest vet to my home but it is the one I chose because of the reviews I read on Angies list.  Thank you Angie for bringing me and my cats together with Dr. Leslie and her crew at Caring Hands Animal Hospital in Lake City, Florida

    Caring Hands Animal Hospital
Being new to the area, my husband and I were very apprehensive about choosing a veterinarian in our new surroundings. We turned to Angie's list (again), and Caring Hands Animal Hospital in Lake City, Florida won our approval for a visit. One of our cats had what appeared to be an upper respiratory infection, so I called Caring Hands for an appointment. Right from my first contact with them in setting up the appointment I was greeted over the phone with courtesy and professionalism. They gave me an appointment for the very next day ( I replied it wasn't an emergency, so I didn't have a need for an emergency appt.). Upon arrival, we were greeted with a smile and check-in was quick and painless. There were a couple forms to fill out but nothing in excess. We were greeted by a vet tech while sitting in the waiting room who stated that they were just finishing cleaning an exam room and then would take us right in. Our entire wait from walking in the door to get into the exam room was 5 minutes. Once in the room, the vet tech (Angela) took our cat's history and within minutes Dr. Marie Leslie walked in, acknowledging us with a big smile and immediately picked up our cat and starting talking to her. She made all of us, including our cat, feel very comfortable in our strange environment. It was also very apparent that she was quite knowledgeable and very comfortable with us. It has been 3 weeks since our visit with her and her treatment and recommendations for home care were right on target. Our cat has been healthy ever since. I have had cats for the last 50 years and I am convinced that I have found the best veterinarian on the planet! Her hospital is accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association and also holds the accreditation of being a Cat Friendly Practice. That was quite obvious as my cat started walking on her keyboard in the exam room and Dr. Leslie couldn't care less. I ran to get my cat off her keyboard and Dr. Leslie told me not to worry about it because the keyboard was locked, a requirement to acquire the Cat Friendly Practice accreditation. This veterinarian practice is 40 minutes from my home and there are two other vets that are within 5 minutes from my house, but the reviews were so so or not good. The reviews for Caring Hands were very good, so I chose Caring Hands and I will continue to go there.
My experience was superb and I highly recommend them to anyone in the area. Kudos to Angela, the vet tech who helped us. She was so good with our cat too. Our overall experience was also influenced by her. I hope we have her again and again and again. I felt that the price and everything we got for it was fair and competitive.

dog given too many sedatives and died.  current vets do not seem to know near as much as Dr. Julie did.
