It looks good. They showed up when they said they would and they went right to work and did it. The workers that came out to install the carpet were fabulous. The price seemed reasonable. It looks good but who knows, it's got to hold up. Their responsiveness was very good.

Nice guy to work with and flexible to work with.  Overall it went very well.  There were no surprises within the scope of work or his estimated price. Job was exactly as quoted.  His technician was polite, hardworking and cleaned up after himself each day.  I have now Hired Kevin to also Install  the new tile floors in both bathrooms and hardwood floors in the Kitchen & Entry Hall.

As a person Al tries to be good, would probably do all or more than required if he had a small job. Do not hire him for anything that would take over a few  days. But his work ethics is not good. For 6 months before  he finally quit, It would be him or his one worker, some times.  There was as much as a week at the time I would not see anyone. They were very unorganized, did not clean up behind them selves. He finally fired his worker that had done 75% of the work that had been done as he was there a lot more than Al, as Al run out of money. Right after I paid him the first $25,000.00 on Sept 19th. He bought a nice looking Jeep. He told me later he had to sell it.

They scraped the popcorn ceiling did not put down a drop cloth, then did the texture and paint on ceilings and walls and did not clean up. I still do not have all of it out of the seams of the hardwood floors and the grout of the tile.

He had a crew of Mexicans to put up the hardy plank, on the upstairs. He was supposed to replaced all bad wood, not sure this was done, The facing on the two dormers, were pieced, which is on the front of the house. Then he had another crew to come and paint the outside. of the house. They painted over what I call ( dirt dobber ) nest in several places( I am not sure who was supposed to pressure wash the house. Pretty sure it was Al, as his pressure washer tore up and they used one that I had borrowed from a friend and had there for us to pressure  wash the deck, side walks and things,). They also sprayed paint on porches, brick sidewalks, and decks . I had to pay the painters as he could not. They charged $3800.00 Also I am still buying things and paying someone to spray, brush, scrub and pressure wash the brick patio and  walkways around the house. He was to replace 4 double sliding doors. Instead he repaired then. saving him about $15,000.00.

He has a problem telling the complete truth, He told me he was going to South Fl. to his nieces funeral. Instead he went on a deep sea fishing trip. I did not ask for this. I assume he felt guilty that no more was done.

He was supposed to give me a lock and key job. He did not do several of the things he was supposed to do as he ran out of money I had already paid him $37,500 and he needed  more. I would not pay him more,  The contract called for the balance to be paid on completion of job, but I did buy supplies. The days before he left he was broke, I went and bought him cigarettes,  He always needed money. before time it was due. The day before he left I hand him a $100.00 bill as I was not sure he had any money for gas. The day he left he did not mention money but I wrote out a check for $1,000.00 and gave to him, as I knew he was broke.

Near the beginning he replaced all light switches and plug ins. They were beige and the small flip switches. He replaced them with the nice white toggle switch. This was not listed on the contract. He worked hard 2 days doing this. When he was finished they would not turn on lights as there is several 2 way,3 way, and 4 way switches. He ask me to call an electrician, I did not know one so he called one he knew. They come and corrected most of it and charged me $2300.00. which I had to pay. Just last week, I had to hire another one, for things we found later, which was $600.00.

He has been gone for about 3 weeks now, I am still paying 2 to 3 people everyday doing clean up and the things that were not finished. Al I am still on my hands and knees getting the kitchen floor clean from the Popcorn, spackling and paint falling on it.

I found him on Angie's list and read 3 reviews. I noticed the 2 small jobs, gave him good reviews, They were $1,000.00 or less. The one that was bigger he got a very bad review.  Later I do not understand this I found a review where he was working on condos or apartments, she had given him a good review as she had worked for her for a very long time, according to his worker and him he got fired during the time he was working on my house, As she was not pleased with him wanting his money and she said he had not completed the job. So I am sure she would like to change her review now.

Eric and Laura have installed flooring in several of our condos, both carpet and tile. The jobs have always been performed in a professional manner, on time and in budget. Also they are very competative. I would recomment them.

I am really satisfied and hired Kevin and his employee. First i was going to have Lowes or HD to do the install, which would be cheaper, but 6x24 tile i used is quite diffiult to install and make it look nice, so i went on Angies List and picked Kevin based on reviews. The estimate he gave me at the beginning was what he really charged and he would always let me know how much would anything else cost before he started the work. The deposits were always adequate to amount of work he would do which would give me the security i was not dealing with someone who would ask for bunch of money upfront and then wouldnt do good job.  He made 6x24 tile float really nice through the house and did couple extra things i needed, for example make the wooden stairs edge and couple other things. He was supposed to do only upstairs first, but at the end of installation when i decided i would need him to do downstairs as well, he did his best to do the additional job quickly and they cleaned after themselves when the work was done. I would definitely hire him again.

David did the original remodel on our home and we could not have been more pleased with his work.  THIS REVIEW IS ABOUT AFTER WORK COMPLETE SUPPORT.  Almost a year to the day after we moved in to our remodeled home we had an Air Conditioner drain pan overflow and floor damage.  David Meyer was called and he had his AC Man on the job quickly. When the floor was dried  he replace the wood flooring. All at no cost to us.  What was most impressive was that while his team was working on the floor the job foreman did a walk through looking for other areas that may need attention.  He notice a very small leak spot on the ceiling that would have developed into a much bigger problem over time.  His team then went on the roof and repair/replace a large section of roof shingles to insure we did not have any future problems.  After the paint touch up a problem we did not know we had was fixed.  You can't go wrong by choosing David Meyer and his team to do any level of construction you may have.

Kevin was great. We live out of state and had to coordinate Kevin, as well as other scontractors, that were performing work at the home. Working with Kevin was painless. He arrived on time, gave an accurate estimate and did quality work. He was courteous and professional throughout the process. He had to be flexible in scheduling work around other subcontractors and did so without problem while at the same time keeping us informed. Overall, excellent experience. Highly recommend Kevin.

He did an amazing job. It is a nasty job but the finished product is good. He made a house call before he did them of course from Pensacola and showed me what he would do and gave me a choice of what kind of finished I want done them and each one takes a different kind of grit when they're trying to meet down and it’s really amazing. He is very careful with cracks because marble has the tendency to get those long stress cracks and he redid all of those and you can’t even see the cracks now. He filled in all the holes. I would recommend him highly to anyone else. It was not inexpensive but it made a whole difference because we’re trying to decide what we were going to do because they look terrible when we saw it but they were in it. I thought it was going to be a little easy process so I moved out and take about five days to finish the job.

I contacted Kevin in the late afternoon and he was at my house by 10 a.m. the next morning. He gave me a quote over the phone without seeing the damage to my carpet. The job ended up needing more work than what he thought originally, but he charged me only what he originally quoted. He did an excellent job, you can't even tell the carpet was patched. He was friendly and professional and I would highly recommend his services.

Brian was prompt in returning my call to schedule a date to estimate the cost of our project. After taking the necessary measurements he provided an estimate on the spot and explained in detail all the work he would do. In addition to removing the existing vinyl and sub floor to which it was attached, he also removed existing quarter round trim and put it back after the new floor was finished. He also moved a large refrigerator from the work area and moved it back after the project was completed (something other contractors might not be willing to do). Adjacent areas were masked off, tear out completed; new floor was installed, sanded, and finished, all in a timely fashion, in fact, ahead of the original schedule. My wife and I are delighted with the results and the value it adds to our home. Brian s professionalism and craftsmanship is second to none, and we would not hesitate to recommend his services to family and friends. He is a pleasure with whom to do business.
