Horrible, Long wait, never answer phone, had to go in to make appointment, all patients say same thing, ran the wrong labs but tried to charge me twice after PA told me they would not. Extremely incompetent and putting your life in danger visiting them

It went EXTREMLELY WELL. When she came in to introduce herself, she was EXTREMELY FRIENDLY and HAPPY TO SEE ME. Dr. Oh is AWESOME, she took her time with me. She was extremely thorough. I've NEVER had a dr. that was SO friendly, caring and happy. She made me feel extremely comfortable as I suffer from anxiety and always get anxious when I meet a new doctor.

Her staff are all GREAT! I'm SO happy I finally found the BEST dr. in Florida.

I went through three doctors before I found him. He is one of few physicians I found that actually follows his patients once they reach in-hospital; which, for me, is extremely important. The way the health care is done down here is that it is done in a tandem. Once you get into the hospital system there is no one quarterbacking your care. This doctor does that. He keeps his hands on it. He goes in every day and actually makes hospital visits which physicians down here don't do. He is very accessible and has a very courteous staff. He is extremely thorough and I could not be more pleased with him.

The experience with Florida Health Care Plans has been excellent. I like that everything is done in-house, so you get your blood test results very quickly. You don't have to wait a long time for your appointments and they are very thorough. I like just about everything you would be looking for. I don't know if it is open to the public per se. My husband's insurance gave us the option to pick Florida Health Care, and that is what we picked. I think you have to have their insurance to go there, but I really don't know. I would say to anyone who wanted to go, go for it!

Being new to the area I needed a Doctor. This office was recommended by a friend. I called for an appointment and was scheduled in a very reasonable time frame. Exam was thorough and unhurried. I feel very confident in this office.

I started seeing Dr. Ed Magee a couple of years ago after my primary care physician retired. Dr. Magee is very nice but he seems to have difficulty treating my complex issues. He will get you in and out of the office quickly, the wait isn't long in the waiting room, etc. However, if you have anything more going on than a routine cold or ear infection, I'd have to recommend someone else as your doctor.
I've tried giving Dr. Magee the benefit of the doubt during this time but he never requested my medical records from my old provider. He routinely claimed that my other specialists weren't faxing him lab results (which I personally watched one do repeatedly), and he's not comfortable with prescribing according to lab results. I just had another thyroid test come back too high and yet Dr. Magee's nurse told me he's and quot;not comfortableand quot; with the level of hormone that I take even though he knows I lose the hormone because of proteinuria. One cannot be weaned off of a thyroid hormone. He wanted to lower it and that can be dangerous to the rest of the patient's body! I had already told him that my hair is falling out like crazy but he wouldn't listen and recommended that I just go find an endocrinologist. Now I MUST go without proper treatment until I can find a physician.
Dr. Magee will not prescribe controlled substances, either. I don't take any pain killers but I get one 90 day prescription (90 pills) of Valium per year for severe muscle cramps. I only take them when needed and the 90 pills might even last longer than a year depending of pain levels. Rather than continue with the treatment that I'd been receiving, I was referred to a pain clinic. I'm honestly not sure if he has a fear of encountering substance abusers or not, but not treating each patient as an individual based on his or her medical history isn't acceptable.
Being sent to so many specialists is not only time consuming but expensive. When my own doctor seems to be unwilling to provide for my proper care, I feel it is now time to move on to another physician before I suffer physical damage.

The staff was very nice and helpful, and if you call the nurses they will always answer your call or call you back. I didn't see the doctor but the practitioner was very knowledgeable and just as good. However, they are appointment only. So if you are sick and need to see a doctor you will have to wait for an available appointment or they will not fit you in. ;-(

I went to him for a chronic condition, he has a good bedside manner. He's cheerful. It has been difficult to diagnose what I have but I like the way he analysis the problem. The office is ok. Overall, I'm very satisfied.
