    Faith Construction Corporation
While the work was ultimately completed and the end product was acceptable, I cannot recommend Faith Construction and would not use them again. This was a small project - installing a wall to create a bedroom, installing a door from the bedroom to the bathroom, rearranging the existing electric to work and then painting everything. I got four estimates from Angie's List contractors and the Faith Construction initial proposal came in as the low bid. However, the bid was not very detailed. They used words or short phrases to describe the tasks (such as "one standard door", "crown moldings", "install electric in wall", "add electrical switches".) rather than using complete sentences. I reviewed the bid and questioned several of the items on it. They were going to put in a standard door when all other doors in the are were 8 ft doors. They were going to remove a ceiling fan when I had instructed them to move a fan that was placed where the new wall was going and to install a new fan that I would provide. When I pointed this out, they revised their bid by about $600. This was a lot for those corrections but their bid was still a little lower than the second lowest. They also promised to start right away and finish by the end of the week. I was going out of town for an extended period the following week so I agreed to have them do the work. The workman were competent. They showed up on time, worked all day, were polite and made a good effort to keep the place clean. However, they required supervision and did several things that were perplexing to me. At the end of the first day, they had installed the new wall with an open door frame and did the demolition on the new door to the bathroom. However, they did not put in a light switch by the door on the new wall. And for the new door to the bathroom, they moved the existing light switch to the corner of the room which would be behind the new door. These things are basic and should not require instruction or supervision. To their credit, they did recognize these mistakes and went about fixing the problem. However, then they realized that one of the light switches controlled lights to the both the bedroom and the living room (previously one room). I had pointed out this issue to Faith and all the other contractors but Faith claimed to be unaware of it. They insisted that this was not in their proposal and that I would have to pay for an electrician to come and do the work. At this point, I was ready to toss them out. However, they are almost done and I am going out of town so what am I going to do? If I had the time to hire individual contractors to do this, I would have done that in the first place. You hire a general contractor to take care of everything so you don't have to. Finally, the rooms had crown molding. Their estimate listed "crown molding" as something included in the price. What they did was use some of the crown molding from the bedroom to the living room and remove the remaining crown molding from the bedroom. While this was OK, it was not clearly specified in the proposal and other contractors had priced in complete crown molding for both rooms. I was out of town by this point and tired of arguing with them In the end, other contractors would have been less expensive and required less supervision. If you have a small project, you are better off hiring individual workman. If you have a bigger project, you are better off using someone else from Angie's List or elsewhere.

    Villa's Construction & Remodeling Inc
Mr. Villa and all his workers made this a very pleasant and ultimately satisfying experience. My wife and I and our adult children who have visited since the work was completed all feel that the workmanship and eye appeal is first rate. We would sincerely recommend John and his crew to anyone looking for remodeling or refurbishment of their home. What I remember that will help perspective customers is a discussion we had regarding Mr. Villa's philosophy: He said he first looks for highly skilled workers and then he helps them understand his building goal, which is to do high quality work and then take it beyond the customer's expectations. Now, as we look around our home we feel very strongly that we are looking at that philosophy on display. We also found all the workers that came into our home were not only good at their speciality, but were also good human beings.

    Black Gold Contractors
From the first contact for an estimate to the completion of the project, Shessica was extremely responsive. She gave us daily updates as to how the project was going and finished ahead of schedule. The house was cleaned upon moving back in and the project looked better then we could have imagined.

    All In One Texture
Punctual, professional. Jenry and his helper worked to finish the job in one day with a knock down texture. They worked extremely hard and the job turned out great. Only comment is that they could have cleaned up a little better.

    J & R Restoration Services Inc
My husband and I moved to Florida in 2015. The house that we purchased had a mold issue and J&R Restoration was recommended to us for mold remediation. Not only was the mold issue resolved, but other renovations that we wanted for our house were done by J&R. Joe & Roy have an vast network of connections with electricians, plumbers, roofers, AC companies and Hurricane Window suppliers. Each and every company that came to my house was courteous and polite and most of all, cleaned up after their particular job was completed. We have lived in Florida for 3 years now, and whenever we have an issue regarding our house we can count on Joe & Roy and their quick response.

    Black Gold Contractors
Black Gold did an excellent job. They started as soon as the new doors were delivered and worked straight thru until the job was complete. Shessica and her father Rod did exactly what they said they were going to do and did it in a very timely manner. We live 2,000 miles away from the Florida house and they sent photos of work being done and when completed they sent us a detailed video of all of the work that was done - we greatly appreciated that. We have no hesitation in recommending Black Gold Contractors for remodeling work.

Meltini Kitchen & Bath Boynton Beach
Meltini stands out on convenience because of its one-stop shopping. You pick all the materials in the store in one session. We were given a work schedule and all the main tasks were completed like clockwork, on-time. However, once the work was "finished," the punch list (e.g., grout touchup, drywall touchup, shoddy toilet installation) took an additional 4 weeks to complete. I think greater attention to this phase of the work is a major area where Meltini could improve. Another area where Meltini could improve is in painting (actually, lack thereof). They don't offer painting as a service, which ends up complicating everything for the customer, because ideally painting should be interleaved with the rest of the work.

Jacksons Custom Builders & Construction Inc
From a thoughtful design stage to a flawless installation, Jackson Custom Builders demonstrated that they were highly proficient across a variety of important skills. We totally remodeled our kitchen and two full bathrooms, including a custom double vanity and we could not be more pleased with the results. The interior was completely painted as well and 7 inch molding was added. In a large project such as ours, adjustments to our plan needed to be made along the way. They provided great suggestions and the modifications were deftly handled. We found all the Jackson crew to be polite, personable and professional. They went about their business efficiently and were respectful of our home at all times. We would highly recommend them for any home construction project, large or small.
