Stamped Concrete reviews in Delray Beach

I was very pleased with the service and the way the workers work. The foreman was there if you want to ask him something and the workers were helpful and friendly. The guys who did the patios did an excellent job on the painting of the pattern of the driveway. they match my house color perfect. The only thing that bothers me was the fact that they told me the sealer was non slippery and there is 3 or 4 places that is very slippery when you got out of the pool. May be if I wait - in time it will get better. Over all l we are very pleased with the company's work and Brad , the contractor answer all your calls all the time. There work was so good that 2 of my neigbors got them to do there driveways right away.

Our driveway with stamped concrete needed to be stripped, repainted and sealed. Another contractor had done an inadequate job that failed after a few weeks but was not corrected. Peter Wolters of Sunshine Surfaces diagnosed the problem excellently and completed the work very professionally and effectively. After some minor concrete erosion, he came back and repaired the problem without further charge. We highly recommend this company.

Mr. Cory Schechter came to the work site to discuss options for removing gardens inside the screened patio area.  Our plan was to have the gardens dug out and concrete poured and stamped to butt to the existing concrete patio.  Mr. Schechter was extremely helpful to us in deciding a course of action that would be the most cost effective method.  He let us know that pouring concrete would create the possibility of future cracks and would be expensive.  We discussed many options and we were extremely impressed by his professional knowledge and honesty.  We ultimately dug the gardens out ourselves and used decorative rocks to fill the area; we are very grateful for his suggestions.

We hired Mike from J Campbell Decorative Concrete to resurface our pool deck and the outside of our spa, as well as install a French drain. We were impressed with Mike's confidence in being able to do a great job and make our pool deck look terrific and be funcitional.  We received five quotes from various contractors before choosing J Campbell.  His price was right in the middle and he could get started quickly.  With his stellar Angie's list and BBB ratings, we signed a contract and were excited to see our new pool deck.  We were away on Spring Break when they were able to finally get started, though my parents were there to oversee it.  My mother called to express concern that the French drain was being installed at a distance of over 3 feet from the side of the house which is where the water gathers, rather than next to the house as we had agreed upon.  I talked with Mike and he assured me that he would build up the area where the water pooled against the house so that the water would run towards the drain.  This sounded a little difficult to accomplish to me since we have accordion shutters there and it appeared to me that it would be tough to build it up enough with the shutters located where they are.  But Mike was very confident that it would all work out.  After they were finished I loved the look of my deck and the back of the spa was gorgeous!  However, at the first rain, we had the exact same standing water as before even though Mike had installed an expensive French drain and "built it up" so the water would supposedly run appropriately.  I called him to let him know about the problem.  He came out to check out the problem and then sent someone to "fix" it.  Due to weather, etc, they didn't come when they initially planned, and showed up on a day when I wasn't home.  Imagine my surprise when I came out to my pool deck to find 2 inch diameter pock marks ALL over my pool deck, where our best guess is they drug the machine they had used to grate down the surface in order to build it back up.  These marks are ALL over.   Besides looking bad, the integrity of the surface is compromised and is no longer sealed.  I called Mike once more and he eventually came to check them out.  He told me they were "heel marks" that sometimes show up.  They are NOT heel marks.  They were not there before the man came to "fix" the French drain issue.  Heel marks don't just show up in the middle of the day one day and heel marks don't take off the paint and sealant.  The surface has been scraped and it's like the person was dragging this thing around the pool deck and was completely unaware that it was marring the surface.  Not only are there these marks, THE WATER STILL STANDS!!!  And the parts that they "built up" to try to fix the drainage problem (which didn't fix anything at all) weren't ever fully painted or sealed.  Mike said they would come back and take care of it and we haven't seen or heard from him since.  My husband has called at least 5 times and was convinced that "Mike was a good guy and that he would call us back and take care of the problem" but the job was done in March and April and we still have had NO return calls (as of July!).  I also called and tried to talk to him, but Mike doesn't answer our calls.  We are not complainers and had been very flexible with them and had let them come when they could as they worked around other jobs.  It ended up taking much longer than they had initially said it would and we never once complained.  We are highly disappointed and didn't ask for anything except for the job to finished and done correctly.  Mike even told me that they put the drain where they did because it was easier so that they wouldn't have to "mess with the screen enclosure".  And not to get nit-picky, but a stone on the spa has already detached as well.   Every time I go out to the pool deck, I feel sick to my stomach at the mess that was made of it and the huge amount of money we threw out the window.  Mike seemed like a nice guy and I trusted him.  Before the first rain (when we saw the water pooling everywhere) we were singing his praises and thought the deck looked great.  After seeing the pools of water, we still trusted that he would fix the problem.  Even after the massacre of the deck by their grinding machine, we still believed that he would somehow make it right.  On all fronts we were mistaken.  We would highly advise you not to use his services.  We are still hoping that the phone will ring and that he will rectify the problem.  If so, we will definitely let you know.

Company came highly recommended by neighbors. Our stamped concrete patio floor was a mess (about 10 yrs old) from a poor paint job done by non-professional who swore he could do a great job.  As is usually the case, you get what you pay for. Miguel and Jesus came to our home (on time) and gave us a complete description of what they felt had to be done and helped us choose the colors. We agreed on a price (very fair) and they told us they would call when they could start. A few days later they called and said they could start very shortly. The crew came out at the appointed date/time. They were very professional and neat, cleaning up after themselves and putting our patio furniture back where originally situated. We would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for any type of concrete work to be done.

We had all county resurface our pool deck and driveway with Euro-tile on our rental property a few years ago and they did a great job. On the same property we had them install a new screen enclosure about a year ago. Now they just finished our kitchen cabinets and granite tops and we could not be happier. They were considerably cheaper than Home Depot and the product is beautiful. They were very punctual and professional and I recommend them highly.

Although they completed only half of the job they had received 80% of the contract price.  Apparently there was a dispute among principals of the corporation but no one at the company was responsive to us or our attorney.  We had to hire another company to finish the job. This is not reputable company!  I reported them to Angie's List but they continued to accept advertising from them for months afterwards.

Kenaco provided full service in one easy stop. They completed my project in a timely and cost effective manner. My home was in dire need of help due to environmental concerns and quite frankly my neglect over the years.

I am the president of the condo association that hired this company to install Eurotile on our walkways. At this time I would have to warn people not to use this company. Apparently there is an internal struggle going on between at least two of the principals of the company and they are having cash problems. They began our job in early October and told us it would take 4-6 weeks to complete. It is now early December and the job is only half done. Our property manager has been told that they do not have the money to buy materials, although we have given them 80% of the contract price. There has been no activity on the job for weeks. The president of the company keeps telling us that they will resume work in a few days but nothing happens. What they have done is not bad but we already have an extensive punch list of things that have to be corrected on the buildings that have been done. More importantly , we have 6 buildings that still must be done plus the things that have to be corrected on the other 8. I have no faith in any of the people in this company.
