    Family Automotive Inc
When I moved to this area, Johnny's Family Automotive was recommended to me by my cousins. They were devoted customers for many, many years. I have become another devoted customer. Whenever I have an auto worry or question, I can always rely on an honest, reliable, and very fair priced response from F.A.. And to top it off, Johnny and his crew are sooo nice !!!

    Ed Morse Delray Toyota
Work was not done. Had called the previous week to make an appointment to replace the airbag (recall) on my Toyota providing the VIN number of the vehicle. The service rep told me I could go Friday, October 27 at 9:00am and drop off the car. The airbag would be replaced and it would take 3 to 4 hours. When I arrived at the dealer, the rep Jennifer tells me they do not have the part to replace the airbag. No apologies, but that she would talk to the person that made my appointment to discuss the error. I then called the Service Manager, Dave Romeo and left him a message to call me back. He did, and I told him what had happened. Without any apologies, he began to say that the airbag replacement was a two step process and I had to go to the dealer twice, the first time to check the vehicle and the second time to replace the airbag. Neither the customer service rep that made my appointment or the Jennifer mentioned anything about a two step process. I told the manager then that I would not return to Ed Morse Toyota for any service due to the poor customer service they had provided. I am not looking for any free oil changes or anything. Just an apology and an explanation of the error would have been fine. I would not return to that dealer for anything.

    A&H Automotive
Perfect. This was out first experience dealing with this shop. We took our 2002 Honda to the shop to have it checked for any potential service needs. After meeting with Service Manager Joe to discuss the history of the car, Mike spent 45 minutes going over the car top to bottom and found the car was in perfect working order. This included a complete electronic diagnosis of the engine! And all of this at NO CHARGE! Joe explained that they perform a courtesy check of the car on the first visit and would only charge for any work needed. And there was none needed. It is so rare that you find this type of service and integrity today. We look forward to returning to A & H for future service needs. This was a great experience.

    Firestone Complete Auto Care Store
I had to go back twice. Three times after everything. They don't seem to do everything if you have multiple chores for them to do. I've learned you go one thing at a time, even though it's a waste of my time. They tell me they did the coolant, and I went to my dealership three days later, and the guy suggested I have my coolant changed, and I said, well it was just done, and he goes no it wasn't. So when I go back to Firestone, they said it gets that way. I said no it doesn't. They did do it, but very resistant to it. That was the third time I had to take it back for things that happened when they supposedly did it. On the axle they didn't tighten something, so it sounded like there was something rolling around and loose. I drive a lot of miles, that didn't make me happy. When I first called them and told them about it, they said well it's just probably something else in the car. Well it wasn't. I just wasn't happy with the work they did this time. I heard noises after they did my breaks, and that didn't make me very happy either.

    Grieco Mazda of Delray Beach
I purchased a pre owned 2016 VW Jetta for my daughter last week, She researched their website thoroughly and we made an offer via text to the salesman. The offer was accepted. When we arrived on site, one of the first questions we asked was if there were 2 key fobs. The answer was "Yes". The paper work followed and the price we agreed upon was $100 higher plus they added $199 for Zurich Shield protection, which was never mentioned on the website. After I challenged them, they reduced the price by $199. The price should have been reduce by $299 to account for the $100 discrepancy in the price of the vehicle plus the unmentioned $199 for the Zurich Shield. Although this is not what we were expecting, we agreed, as my 19 year daughter old loved the car and they obviously sensed that. After the agreement was inked, the salesman informed me that there was only one key fob and they weren't reducing the price any further.to compensate. The cost through VW for an additional key fob is $300. She will be taking the car to college out of town so a second key is a must. The deceptive part is that they clearly knew that there was only key fob to begin with! Why the dishonesty? My bad, I should have walked away at that point, but as I mentioned above, my daughter had done her research and this was a car that matched her expectations. The salesman told me that in preparation for taking the car home, the car was sent to detailing and would be gassed up. He told my daughter in a private conversation that "Your Dad's gonna be mad because it only has 3/4 tank of gas", which coincidentally was the same amount shown on the website photo from a week earlier and the same amount when we test dove it that day. I could care less about a 1/4 tank of gas, just be honest! It was my daughters first car buying experience and I can promise you that she and I will never return to any Grieco dealership no matter how attractive the deal looks. I share this story so that future buyers can be informed and prepared if they are considering doing business with any Grieco dealership.

    Economy Tire & Service Center
He goes in for his oil and all that stuff. Its excellent. Its an husband and wife outfit. They have been there for a number of years. They are responsive. My father has used them four or five years, or more. They also do repair work. They do diagnostic, and been honest for not paying for this and that. They have been reputable. They get right to the work. If I thought they were sub-par, I wouldn't use them.

They were triple the price of the other company I went with. They didn't even see it, it was over the phone. It was like they just didn't want to do it. They said it would be $3,000.00 and I had a $2,000.00 for someone else. I only phoned them because I wanted to bring it in, but that's what they said it was going to cost. I mean, like they where trying to deter me from coming. The other one I went to was more like $2,000.00, which was more like, you know.

Overall I would not recommend them for car buying. The worse thing is they took advantage of my lack of knowledge on how to deal with leasing. I think they ripped me off and I paid more then I should have. If I would have gone to CarMax I would have saved 1,000s of dollars with my trade in.

The oil change was fine but they couldn't figure out how to reset the sensor. I would use their service department but other then that I would not use them.

    Z's Classic Auto Repair
Beyond excellent !!!!!!!! Zechariah was recommended to me by a dear friend. He comes to your home, and I was told he was super talented and very fairly priced. He not only came as promised on time, but diagnosed the problem, went to Home Depot to get a part without asking me for a dime, returned and fixed the problem without removing the dash. AND, he took a look at my other car which was flashing "check engine" and also squealing (dirt guard was rubbing against the wheel) ~ fixed both issues. Total bill for getting both cars tip top = $40 ?!? He is also getting back to me re: a few other problems my Toyota has ~ not critical. Also recommending excellent and well priced body work shop and convertible top replacement shop. I will never use another mechanic!

FOREIGN CAR SVC OF DELRAY INC
We have been using him for 18 years. Everything is expensive with Mercedes. They are mechanics and they are very honest. The first time we had ever used them we had an older Mercedes and we had taken it the them, because we were having a problem. He said that we should go back to the, not the dealership, but the Mercedes people and talk to them about this problem we were having. He thought it was a defect or a recall item.

We just really appreciated that, because he could have said, ?well, I will fix this for you? and charged us. It was a carburetor or something, it was kind of a big thing. Instead of charging us money to fix it, he told us to go back to Mercedes, which we did, and we didn?t have to pay for getting the thing fixed. We thought that was very honest of him and we have used him ever since.
