The value of everything I got was good. I have the pet pal reward card. They had everything I was looking for.

The workers were very good. I didn't need any help but they still asked if I needed any. The checkout girl was engaging me in conversation, I wasn't expecting it but she was really nice too. I've had really good experiences in there. There was really only 1 person ahead of me so I didn't have to wait. The woman that was checking me out gave me really good information. I would tell others that they should go.

    Newman Veterinary Center
We had gone to a previous one and Newman Veterinary Center is much better. They are friendly and helpful. I had no problem with the price but I don't know what normal prices are. I think it was good.

Responsiveness was within 24 hours. I didn't really wait very long. They're great. They are super kind. I don't know if you've been to places where they're just kind of standoffish but everybody there, the receptionist, the veterinarian, the assistants, they are all just super kind.

    Preppy Pet Debary
Steve was a nice guy and very customer service oriented. They also offered doggie daycare. The place was clean and they had an outside area for the dogs to run. They also had an inside play area. I didn't notice air conditioned runs in the kennels.

Barbara (the owner) came to the house and picked up my dog and groom her in the mobile "spa" out front.  Madeline got a bath, ears cleaned, glands expressed, teeth brushed, nails clipped and then she was dried. It is so convenient to use the mobile service...I love not having to drop her off to be groomed.

    De Bary Animal Clinic
They always send us reminders for the schedules (vaccines and flea and tick medicines) and appointments. They also send us a picture of our dog's latest visit. They seem to be kind and responsive. Their location is convenient for us.

I arrived at the office to see Dr. Dyer early in the morning for his first appt.  I was placed into a small waiting room with my Lab of 11 and a half years old.  I was initially greeted by an assistant or Tech who asked me preliminary questions and also wanted to check his weight.  I walked with my pet in the back hallway to the scale to assist the tech getting my boy up onto the scale.  I passed what I soon learned was Dr. Dyer in the hallway. He never looked up at me to greet me, he simply ignored me and my pet and kept reading his paper.  After the weighing in I was escorted back to the room where I waited for Dr. Dyer to come back in.
I would say that Dr. Dyer appeared thorough in his examination of my Lab.  At the time I was beginning to feel comfortable that he seemed to know his stuff and explained everything in detail to my satisfaction.  A fine needle aspirate had to be done and then sent to the Lab to be tested for possible cancer.
Later that evening I received a call that I could not answer due to work. It was Dr. Dyer and he left me a phone message stating that the test came back and we need to discuss the next course of action.  His message and tone clearly indicated that something was wrong and I had good reason to be concerned and or worried.  He left his number and told me to call at 9:00 AM and that he'd be there all the next day.
I along with my wife worried sick all night about what was going to happen to our loved pet.  At 9AM I called the office and was told Dr. Dyer hadn't arrived into the office yet.  I told the receptionist that I was worried sick and please tell Dr Dyer to call me asap.   I called back just 30 min later and was told he was busy and couldn't come to the phone.  I again pleaded with the girl and told her that Dr. Dyer told me to call early in the morning.  Again I was promised he'd return my call asap. I finally got a casual call from Dr. Dyer at 6 pm.  He told me some bad news about my pet and what I'd have to consider next which didn't sound good.  I let him know that I was furious he made me wait almost 24 hours to hear this news and I would not return to his clinic.  He was indignant about making his calls later in the day since he's just too busy.  I can't imagine how he could let us stew as long as we did and act like he did nothing wrong.  I guess I should have known something was wrong with his people skills when I first met him and he wouldn't shake my hand.
He may have had good veterinarian training, however his people skills and compassion are sorely lacking.  I would never return to that office nor would I recommend him to anyone else.

    Paws-itively Affordable Pet Care
We are relatively new to the area and not used to having a non-family member watch our home/dogs while we are away. We had to go out of town for about 10-11 days and had Jan come in. She got along great with our dogs from our pre-vacation visit and we came home to happy, healthy dogs, all of our mail waiting for us on our kitchen table and plants that were alive and flourishing. I would HIGHLY recommend Jan for the quality and attention she provided to our furry family while we were out of town.

Tracey's Pet Sitting & Dog Walking
Tracey's Pet Sitting & Dog Walking reports on what happened with their walk. She'll pick up my mail if she's in the house. She has lots of experience with all sorts of dogs. She's a veterinary assistant for many, many years. She really knows how to handle the dogs. Most importantly, she's a trustworthy person in your house. She's very wonderful.

My 20 year old cat, Leia, has stopped grooming herself. Despite my best efforts she had developed mats on her stomach and legs. Jessica did great job of combing out what she could and artfully shaving the rest. The kitty is much more comfortable and looks like she has on leg warmers! Leia is small and delicate. Jessica handled her in a very gentle, caring way. Will definitely use her service again.

    Affiliated Veterinary Specialists
We highly recommend AVS. This is a hospital of the highest caliber. The extremely professional staff, from the front desk to administration, from doctors to vet techs, deals with very sick pets and highly emotional owners in a caring and compassionate way. They understand how stressful it is for owners in this situation and go out of their way to ease any concerns or fears that owners might have. We cannot thank them enough for the excellent care our Doberman, Halston, received. He was diagnosed with Wobblers Syndrome and needed surgery to relieve the pressure on his spine.  Post-surgery, he spent a number of weeks at AVS.  Dr. Smith and her staff in the neurology department took excellent care of him. They not only called us twice daily with updates on his progress, they also called our veterinarian regularly.  They welcomed our daily visits to see Halston even though we’re sure that at times it must have disrupted their very busy schedule. These are very dedicated professionals doing an extremely difficult job and doing it with skill, warmth, and compassion.  Even though Halston was discharged and  is now at home, we still hear from AVS to check on his progress and to offer advice and encouragement. As owners we couldn’t possibly ask for more! Our grateful thanks go out to Dr. Smith and her wonderful team.
