    I have used Evergreen for three years now. My service tech, Derrick, is very professional, explains what he is going to do to the lawn, asks if there are any issues and then goes to work. My lawn over the past three years looks amazing! I use to do my own lawn, but I now get better results for less money with Evergreen. A+ in my book.

    I found bugs in the grass and asked for someone to come out, they never did.
    I got a call from them wanting to sell me tree and bush services, I told them not until someone came out and no one did.
    I got a call trying to sell me thatching services. I told them not until someone came out and no one did.
    I got an automated call saying they were coming out for the regular service. I called them and said not to do that until someone came out to talk to me, no one did.
    I got another automated call for regular service. I called the support department and got voice mail saying they were too busy so I went to website to cancel service.
    A week later I got a call trying to sell me additional services again. I told the lady my problems and she assured me someone would contact me within 48 hours. I told her if someone didn't come see me I would cancel service a second time (since they ignored the first) No call.
    This past Monday the regular route guy came to my house for the monthly spray. He had no idea I had cancelled the service or that I had been having problems. So I cancelled with him and got attitude from him.
    I have gone to another company.
    It is amazing how a few questions grew into cancelling service and they don't seem to care.

    Chris Korza is just the best! We are very appreciative of all the effort he puts into making our St. Augustine grass look fabulous and keeping our ornamental shrubs disease-free. Even our next door neighbor commented on what a good job he does!! Chris takes the time to inspect the area and apply the needed treatment. He uses both systemic and contact products to produce outstanding results. What we like best is his personal and sincere concern he shows for our property. You just don't see that too much any more. When he has completed his work he writes a summary of services performed for that day and offers suggestions as to what we may need to change or do according to the season or the issue at hand. Both my husband and I look forward to Chris's visits and rate him the highest amongst all our service providers.

    My lawn was treated on 4/14/15. I was told that a two week follow-up would be
    performed to make sure that the treatments were working as expected. No
    follow-up was performed. Also, a Sabal Palm tree was supposed to be treated for
    pests. It either wasn't treated or was treated with an ineffective product. I
    followed up with an email to my sales person who emailed me back that he would
    get with the technician and find out the status of the palm treatment and get
    back to me. I did not hear from him again. I emailed him a week later for the
    telephone number I could use to cancel the service. After no response from him, again, I
    called the office and was told my account had already been cancelled. 
    So bottom line: broken promises, no follow through, no tree treatment and
    no attempt to contact me to see if they could make things right. $164 for one
    inadequate lawn and shrub treatment. So sad.

    It went really well. They explained exactly what they do and also other services that are available. We live in an area that has a lot of bugs. They did a great job clearing out and spraying for them. My daughter is no longer afraid to play on our patio :-)

    I was pleased with the gentleman but I didn't think he was answering me. He listed what he expected to do but I wanted more work done. He was very professional, personable, and on time. I would have felt going with them but he seemed to be hesitant about giving me a quote to re-insulate my attic, which what I really wanted done after having critters off there.

    5 Star Lawn & Pest Control
    I paid for service on Monday, 3/24.  They said they would be back Tuesday, 3/25 because I had been trying to get service since Thursday of the following week.  Still not here.  Costing me $225 for lawn treatment every six weeks and $75 for pest control inside every 3 months.  I told them I have a flea/tick problem now, not later.  But still not here.  I expressed wanting to get services every six months - told me it wasn't possible.  I told them I wanted to try nemotodes - they told me not to because I would have to replace my lawn.  I talked to the UF extension office - they told me 5-star was full of it.  Can't trust anybody.

    Update - They are servicing the lawn today 3/26 after I called to see if they were scheduling the service soon since I deemed it an emergency and expressed emergency needs.  Still no service scheduled for interior.

    5-Star requires a service agreement, which suggests cancellation in writing 30 days prior to next service.

    I took advantage of an Angie's deal. It has been two months and I can state now that the work done was effective and thorough. Of course, their goal was to have me sign a contract for service. Because I wanted time to see how effective the service was I agreed to one more treatment, and only one. So I signed the contract thinking I would confirm the one time agreement when I received a call that someone would be out for service. A technician arrived about two months later - no advance phone call - and I happened to be home. I then learned that the continuing service involved automatically treating the outside of the house and that if I needed treatment indoors I had to call - however, the contract/agreement does state "regular services will consist of an exterior treatment". So my suggestion is that the technician should go over the contract details with the customer. Also it would be helpful if the tech explained ahead of time what they will do, although this is documented after the fact on a checklist.

    We call John quite often for service both Lawn care and Pest control with many of our rental properties and also our home.Recently John serviced our home for pests (insects) and does so on a somewhat regular occurence and thus have very little insect activity...hard to do in Florida. Recently he cut the grass at one of our rental properties and cleaned up very nicely and the price was very reasonable.
    Several years back we had rats move into our attic. We called John and it was a difficult task as they had started to breed. John returned several times until they had been completely eradicated.
    John is an exceptional young man, honest and hard working.
    We have known John for many years and have used his services quite often, both
    pest control and lawn care. When called he returns call, and comes when he says
    is going to be there. His work ethic is also exceptional, and if you have
    problems or issues he returns until you are satisfied

    He has been in business for a long time. He comes as scheduled. He comes annually and does th entire house. Puts chemicals behind the walls. He also does our termite control. he also comes quarterly in between our annuaol treatment. If we have anything inbetween time he comes promptly. His partner is educated on pest control.
