    To provide some background to my issue, I have a Samsung dishwasher that was malfunctioning and since this disk washer was in warranty, I called  Samsung customer service. After talking to the customer service representative it was determined that I needed service repair and a service ticket was opened and I was told that WV Electronics located in Orlando, FL would service my machine. I was told they would call that day and confirm an appointment; apparently, this vendor is warranty repair for Samsung in Orlando Florida. After waiting for several hours for a phone call, I gave WV Electronics a call and received a recorded message requesting that I leave a message. I left my name, Samsung ticket number and my phone number requesting that I receive back phone call with an appointment time...which as of this date, I never received. I finally worked on the machine itself and got it working, I then called Samsung Customer Service and canceled the service call and also explaining that WV Electronics is non responsive and should be dropped as a repair vendor.
    Okay I understand that this vendor may be really busy and just didn't get the time to call, but you know what is said about excuses...I worked in the service industry for more than 40 years and I always returned a phone call that same day if nothing else explaining my current situation...just plain common coustry.

    Jim arrived on time, assessed problem quickly & determined vent was blocked but dryer was OK. Also switched door to open on opposite time. Will definitely call if any other appliances break down.

    They were very punctual and professional. The Dryer they serviced ended up being more broken than initial expected and a re-visit was necessary. No charge for re-visit... and ended up buying a new appliance.

    I recently signed up for Angie's list and thought that I had a problem, so I looked up Allen's and called them.  Turned out I didn't but they remembered me from last year when I used them and immediately called me by name.  Great people and I it verifies Angie is good and I got lucky last year.

    I had written a less than satisfactory review earlier concerning costs.  They had contacted me and we discussed the concern and  agreed at a solution. Though I had a concern from the previous visit, I still knew Allen's Appliance was the best.  I contacted them for a service call two days before Thanksgiving.  My frig was not maintaining proper cooling temperature.  With Thanksgiving just 2 days away I was very concerned.  They were prompt and courteous and very professional.  They needed to order a part that was required to maintain cooling.  It would not be here until the day after Thanksgiving.  They were able to adjust the refrigerator so it maintain cooling through Thanksgiving,  Suggested with as old as it was and as many times as they had been out, might consider getting a new one.  I did.  I contacted them and told them I didn't need the part.  I cancelled the next appointment - day after Thanksgiving - only charged the service call.  My experience was outstanding and would recommend using them to all my friends.

    I had used them in the past for refrigirator issues.  They were professional, responsive and gave me tips to do to keep issues from happening in the future.  Outstanding knowledge and service.  In the past they would charge a one time service call fee of $79 plus parts.  When I last contacted them for repair to my oven I was told the owner decided he could make more money by charging an hourly rate for installation of parts and remove the service charge.  My bill at the old charge would have been approximately $150 instead it was $235.  Great service but be carefull of the cost.

    he came out the same day replaced my icemaker. he knew exactly what to do and the job went very fast. he had the icemaker on his truck. walt and jim were very professional,knowlegable and courteous. i highly recommend Allens Appliances.

    The appliance repair service I usually work with apparently went out of business. I turned to Angie's list and found Coleman's Appliance and Repair. Called a couple of other company but their service call fees were very high. Larry asked what the issue was, gave me a ball park and came within 7 dollars of what he quoted.

    Wife went with Allen's because of their reviews here and the fact that they are pretty much down the street from us.  Very pleased to note that their feedback here is well-deserved.  She called around 9 and explained that our fridge had suddenly stopped cooling.  The gentleman apologized for not being able to get out to us until between 1 and 4 that same day.  Wife informed him that we had a backup fridge in the garage, and that was actually a really-quick turnaround, so no worries.  I thought it was a very nice gesture.  Service showed up on time.  Turned out to be a bad starter relay, which is what I suspected based on my "googling" of the issue...but I am not very handy, and this is why we have professionals, right?  He had a replacement on the truck and was able to make the repair quickly, and advised my wife on how long she should wait til she filled the fridge back up.  By the time I was home, fridge was nice and cool.  Honest, efficient, and effective service...and at a fair price.

    Every time I opened the microwave the fan started to run and it was a little scary so I called him.  He walked me through some things over the phone told me to unplug it in the meantime and he came over the same day.  He came out and we weren't able to recreate the problem that I was having so he made a few adjustments and told me that he wasn't sure if it had fixed the problem, but to call him if the problem occurs again.  It started to do the same thing again at a later date so I called him like he told me to.  He came out the same day and fixed the problem and it has been fine ever since.  He was very responsive to my needs.
