    Excellent! I could not be more satisfied with this company. I do a lot if cooking and bought a higher end Frigidaire gas range. Like all things that are pricey and have electrical circuit boards the parts are not cheap. Think of a recent car repair and what that involved. The technician "Mike" was outstanding, very courteous, patient with my questions and highly skilled. Clearly this man knows his stuff. Very comfortable having him do the repair. The part was not cheap. I researched the part cost online and the price for the part was spot on. The service call and labor were a good value. They do not charge a "travel fee" as others do. The travel fee us the cost of someone showing up. They made two trips to fix the problem as the part had to be ordered. I was billed for one service call and once for labor. I appreciate the transparency in the way this company operates. Let's face it, for the most part you are and the mercy of the company when you do business. It is refreshing to deal with a straight up company. I recommend them highly with no reservations.

    It went very well . Dave went through the machine and told us what he checking and what he found wrong . He was very informative and helpful . We thought it was this part as well but he had all the testers etc. to make sure . He also could get the part very quickly . We couldn't . We felt confident that this was the solution so we went ahead and ordered the part and he scheduled to come back to install the part He kept us informed of the timeline and when he would be there . Very professional and considerate . Will definitely recommend and use this company again if the need arises .

    Allen required $129 just to come and assess the problem. Parts and labor are then added on to the 129 for actually fixing the problem. I find this completely unacceptable, price-gouging even, that $129 is paid upfront just to look. Will never ever call them again.

    GREAT! Tony, from Halifax Appliance, assessed what needed to be done, ordered the part, fixed it immediately after the 2day wait for the part. He was professional, polite, and efficient and treated me with respect and kindness. He said never to use after-market filters because though they claim to work, only the ones from the frig manuacturer really fit perfectly and are truly reliable. He said he has never encountered problems with whirlpool filters, but has had to fix many problems caused by aftermarket (other manufacturer) filters. I really trust this man and his work. I love that he did not try to take advantage and overcharge.

    We were satisfied. We just went to the website to make a request, and the guy came out and fixed it. I just sort of swallowed hard and knew that it was going to be expensive because I wouldn't be there negotiating. He cleaned up after himself and provided clear explanations of his work.

    They needed replacement. This was not a surprise as I was pretty sure they did. Tony did a full check up and verified some suppliers and quoted a price shipped directly from the factory. I agreed and he ordered the parts. He did not ask for money in advance which was encouraging to me. As soon as the parts came in he called and came the same day. When it was repaired and tested he presented the bill just as we had agreed. He would be the one I would call if I needed this service.

    The provider arrived on time, which was important, as I was on my lunch break.  He was able to troubleshoot the problem and break down the cost of the parts and labor involved.  He also made sure we understood that it was not a 100% guarantee, and what the next step would be if it did not fix the problem.  He was professional, courteous, and knowledgeable and I would highly recommend him.  Bonus, he also fixed the dryer.

    A person answers the phone at this company, not an answering machine.  An appointment was scheduled that day, and the technician came exactly at the promised time.  He was professional in every way: he identified the problem, explained the procedure for solving it, and gave us an accurate estimated cost.  He went way above and beyond what I expected by offering to search the US for a part for our 1960's vintage oven.  The part came in the day he promised, and he installed it exactly when he promised he would. There were no extra charges for a second visit, shipping the part, etc.  Wonderful customer service, professional work, and friendly personnel.  This will be our repair company for everything in our home from now on.

    I have a 20 year old Speed Queen dryer which stopped heating. I spoke with Tony by phone a few days ago, and we decided it was worth the cost of a service call to see if the dryer could be fixed. I (we) also decided that it would be more cost efficient to repair this old workhorse than buy a new machine with all fancy new electronics that would just fail sooner rather than later anyway. We made an appointment for first thing this morning, and Tony was right on time. A true rarity in Florida! Tony went right to work and found the problem right away. It was a blown thermal fuse. Being an old machine, he was worried that he wouldn't be able to locate the needed part easily, but he rummaged in his truck and found a compatible part that worked perfectly. Tony also found that the vent tubing for the dryer was old and bent, and limiting efficiency, so he recommended changing it, which he did. Now my machine works fine again, and I may have another 10 years with it. Best part is, the price Tony charged was MUCH LESS than the original "ballpark" estimate he gave me on the phone. True honesty. I would not hesitate to use Halifax Appliance again, or recommend him to anyone.

    Tony was very prompt at returning my phone call and scheduling an appointment. He was punctual and professional at diagnosing the issue with the icemaker. He called his supplier and ordered the part and told me approximaly when it would be in. The part actually came in early and Tony was back at the condo installing it. Tony knows his business and is great to work with.
