AEVANS AUTO SALESThorough, professional and courteous; highly recommend. I suspected a problem with my brakes and didnt know where to go; seem like my tires where wobbling and pulling to the left when braking. Went back to discount tire where I had new tires in March and thoroughly satisfied. They recommended Evans auto sales and service. Dave the service manager did a thorough inspection pulling all tires. Gave me a quote and I scheduled repair for the next day. I was rather amazed since I visited another shop the day before and was quoted a price of over $900. for a lot of unnecessary repairs. I only had 5% brake pads left on right wheel causing my symptoms. Had repairs done and what a difference; all problems solved for only $220. they replaced pads, turned drums, washed and replaced wheel bearings, including a thorough inspection and cleaning/adjustment of rear brake shoes.- jennie l.

DTheresa's Garage Incsuspected a problem with my brakes and didnt know where to go; asked around and someone recommended Theresas garage so I went for an estimate. My vehicle is for sale, sign in window, so hoping repair costs would be reasonable. The inspection took over an hour, which I did question, but didn't receive proper reason. Theresa said she would call me regarding estimate. Before receiving a call from Theresa, I received a call from one of her employees interested in purchasing my vehicle and stated that I should take much less since it needs almost $1000. in repairs, and I havent even seen the estimate yet!. So now Im leery of the whole experience. If an employee is interested in buying my vehicle; the ethical protocol would be to approach me first and ask permission to inspect vehicle. Later I received an email with estimate totaling almost $900.00. the estimate seems to include recommended service regarding mileage of my vehicle and 2 issues that were recently taken care of. Were the charges padded so her employee could purchase my vehicle far less than Im asking; guess Ill never know. And who knows what they did to my vehicle during inspection. I would never trust Theresas garage to perform any work on my vehicle. I responded to Theresas estimate email with my concerns; never heard from her.- jennie l.

ABill Partington's AHC Safe & LockThe most professional and quick service for replacing Dodge keyless entry remotes and programming them, that I could find around the area......the whole process was done within 1/2 hour and beyond economical......do yourself a favor if you have an American car and need a key replacement or cut or programmed.....this is the only place I would go. Dodge dealer in Palm Coast wanted a fortune to replace and program 1 key let alone 2.... and it turns out everyone else from Walmart to Loews to all the other locksmiths in this area are ripping people off daily !!!!. I saved over 200$.....and that for me is a big deal....!!- Robert F.

ADaytona INFINITIIt's exceptional service. It's a very nice waiting area. They offer TV, WiFi, snacks and beverages. They also offer courtesy cell service and loaner cars if your car is going to be there any period of time. Interaction with the workers is excellent - very helpful, professional and customer oriented business.- Buckley J.

ALuther Brookdale HondaI'm just one of those guys who takes them to the dealership. If you're going to go to a dealership, you have somebody to complain to. The wait was one hour I guess. I sat there and did some work. It's a partial waiting room. You get free coffee, water, cookies. There are TVs. There's a playroom for the kids.- ANSAR A.

CTheresa's Garage IncWas told that it required brake job on front brakes. Came to pick up car at end of day and was told that it would take until the next day. No phone call to give some warning that the car was not ready. Next day, was called to say car was ready. Arrived at shop and had to wait 2 hours until it was finished- Richard A.

FSubaru Of DaytonaMy mother and brothers went to get her a car. She was sold a certified used Subaru Forrester. I think because my brothers were so thrilled with this vehicle, they completely trusted the dealer and didn't check it out with an independent mechanic. Yes, "buyer beware". However in the three times it was taken back for service the servicemen never told anyone about the severely rusted frame underneath. When it was taken back to see what service was necessary before taking it north, then they said how awful it was and they were surprised it hadn't fallen apart. Time between purchase and revelation - three years. It didn't rust out that badly during that time. Don't trust these people at all!!!!!- Victoria D.

BDAYTONA NISSANI thought they were expensive. For responsiveness, they were right there. For punctuality, they took me as soon as I got there. It took about an hour, it might have been shorter. The workers were fine.- Libby K.

ASpanos MotorsSteve Radican is the best. Knows his stuff. Engine noise with our BMW X5 (we bought it from Steve and Spanos). Mechanics recommended rebuild - $$$$. Steve sent us to a local BMW Master Mechanic (Mike Wilson @ Wilson BMW Repair). Turned out to be a $500 cam adjustment problem. Whew! Thanks Steve.- Brian L.

CMechanics PlusI do not think they're very reputable. They count themselves as being very reputable, but I've caught them on a couple of things where they did some work for me. They did patch work and tried to hide them. There was a switch that would have been costly to replace. I paid him to replace it. He actually broke it when he was trying to take it out and put it back in. So he just kind of glued it. I think his tech did it. I don't think the owner did it. Another thing that happened is, I had an air-conditioner belt that was supposed to have been replaced. It has squeaked ever since I've gotten the car back. They were trying to tighten it, which means, it probably looked good to them and they put it back on. I'm a technician myself and I know that when they get old they just stretch. They may look good, but they can stretch. So, I really, after finding that switch repaired, I really have doubts about whether or not they actually replace that air conditioning belt. They did do the work in a timely fashion, but I would not use them again. Their pricing was fair.- Robert P.
