    Coastal Pain & Neurology Centers
This office billed $19545.00 for 4 or 5 doctor visits, a few tests and treatment after an auto accident, be aware they are billing on your PIP and LOP's multiple times the state medicare rate and when your case settles it comes of your settlement. Approximate half of this bill was for "therapy" which was massage and hot/cold packs and therapeutic exercise which I did not receive.

I've become a repeat customer because Heather (the owner) has helped me manage my chronic pain. I've had several back & neck surgeries as well as a fractured hip...I mention this to underscore my pain issues. Heather doesn't lecture or "preach" about what I'm doing wrong but has given tips as to how I can relieve pain on my own. I have never felt pressured to book regular appointments...which is something I've encountered with past.

    Orthopedic Clinic Daytona Beach
My appointment was with Dr. Martin Gilbert was at 12:30 with an arrivaI at noon. I didn't get seen until about 1:00pm. Meanwhile I became upset in the waiting room because I witnessed an elderly patient who was in alot of pain being treated rudely by one of the girls at the front desk. This should have been a red flag to me but being optimistic I stayed. Mr Gilbert seemed nice, but a little slow. He ordered X-rays which were clear and concluded I had a pinch nerve and needed to take some inflammation pills along with something for the pain and stated he would see me in two weeks. The nurse told me she would call in my meds to my pharmacy but when I got there they hadn't called so I called back to the office to see how long I needed to wait. The girl who answered was so rude and told me she would get with the nurse who was supposed to call my script in and then call me back. About 30 minutes later she called back and left a message that it was called in. One week later after finishing my meds I am still in pain so I called office to see if Dr. Gilbert could give me a stronger inflammatory med and pain pills just to get me through to my next appointment with him. Every time I called they would tell me they would call me back but didn't. The girls were short with me and one girl failed to tell me he wasn't even there that day. When I called back that's when I found out he wasn't there and that I would have to wait until the next day to get my prescription. So the next morning I called and the girl said I would have to give them by the end of the day for them to call in my medication. So basically I had to remain in pain until they decided to have the time to have the doctor fill out my script. Then to add insult to injury they called me stating that Dr. Gilbert really didn't want to give me more meds but that he wanted me to go next week to have a MRI and asked if I had tried IB Profen, I explained I had tried everything over the counter, ice packs, icy hot etc. I'm even seeing a chiropractor but nothing is working. She again said she would call me back to let me know when script was filled. No call back. I found out it was filled when I got to publix later that night..again waiting in pain mind you. This is a very inefficient practice and I will be taking my business elsewhere. I wouldn't recommend this place to a pet. The office staff is very rude and short. No compassion or sense of urgency when dealing with patients

    Osborne, Dr. Michael
Dr Osborne did an exceptional job for me. His practice is based on the latest available research on the effectiveness of treatment techniques. He explained everything in detail, did a thorough assessment, gave treatment that worked and a program of exercise to maintain my back health. I recommend him highly.

    Rhodes, Dr. J. Richard
Even though he is a surgeon, that's his last choice. He has suggested therapy for me, sending me to a special therapy place to get even more advance therapy on my shoulder. I appreciate his way of treating me, it's very professional, and he is calming. He is very reassuring of what I have is not that serious.

Carrie's massage techniques reduced the hypertonicity--tightness and tension in my muscles of my neck/shoulders and knees and created an overall relaxed feeling. Carrie explained that massage therapy increases blood flow and circulation. Carrie's massage techniques improved my neck's range of motion and reduced a muscle spasm/trigger point in my shoulder/neck area. The trigger point release was awesome--feeling like a warm melting sensation in that area. The knee was more difficult as muscles were pulling my knee inward and that was causing the pain when I walked. Carrie uses her massage techniques on both sides of the body to keep them balanced, not just on the problem area. I'm happy to say, I haven't had the knee pain and I have been able to resume my daily 30 minute walks. I recommend Carrie highly.

    Battaglia, Dr. Joseph
Shoulder was examined with input from me indicating location of pain. Received physical therapy, electrical stimulation of the shoulder muscles and exercises to strengthen muscles in the shoulder to aid healing and reduction of pain.

    Orient Day Spa and Massage
I was warmly greeted and asked to pay before services rendered (no problem) the massage room was serene but cool, too cool for a massage, in fact, I actually got cold. The therapist was more than good at her craft, she was excellent!! but she stopped twice to interact with another employee; and this interruption of time was not given to me as lost time. The door was left open to the room that I was in while she talked with the other employee . Cost for 1hr. massage $80.00; upon leaving I was asked to pay a $20.00 tip which is 25% of cost. Not that I mind, but I feel if the grautuity is a fixed 25% it should be listed with the prices for services that's listed for customers.

I went to the clinic after experiencing issues with my knee from a broken foot. Spoke with the doctor, he took x-rays, suggested physical therapy. I was unable to continue the physical therapy due to work scedules and went back about 6 months later. He recommended several options of treatment, but said that the deterioration of the muscles in my leg was the cause of the issue. Am currently working on the option of rebuilding the muscles in my leg.

the quality varies from therapist to therapist.  overall the therapists are fine.  the people who work at the front desk are mostly nice but they are inconsistant and or confused about billing, guests, charges, etc.  You get different answers depending on who you ask.  and availability is often limited.  They seem to always push the male therapists, probably because many people prefer a female, so make sure to ask if it matters to you.
