  • The procedure hurt, since he was short staffed, he had a female nurse assit holding the instrument that was placed in my private area....in my opionion, very unprofessional....I might be off on the date by a month or so, but I would never go back!.

  • Finding a good OBGYN seems to be impossible in S. Florida. I decided to try the Cleveland Clinic because they have a reputation along the lines of the Mayo Clinic ( or so I thought). I saw Vivian Connor, as well as several of her physicians assistants in between. I did a lot of research on Dr. Conner, and chose her based on reviews on Vitals and Healthgrades. I had several appointments with her. I was awed by the beautiful dand eacute;cor. Rich wood, marble floors, clean and new. I felt comfort in that this must be a good place since it looks so nice. Staff was very friendly. I saw Dr. Conner, and she was nice enough. Not warm and fuzzy, but decent. I explained to her that I had a mirena IUD due to painful periods, which was a making my life a lot easier, had previous surgery for endometriosis, but was wondering if there were any tests for fertility I could take, as I was wondering if it was even possible for me to get pregnant. She seemed to be half heartedly listening to my concerns as she poked around inside of me.Then out of the blue, she yanked out my Mirena IUD. It hurt like a b---! I was shocked. I asked her and quot;why did you do that, you pulled it out?and quot; She said and quot;well, you can't do testing with a Mirena IUD inand quot;. I didn't know that, and I might have decided not to do the testing. That Mirena made it possible for me to do my job. She told me that she didn't tell me she was yanking it out, because it was going to hurt, and didn't want me to anticipate that. TOTAL LACK OF COMMUNICATION ! I want to know those things! I wasn't sure how serious I was about having a baby at that moment. I just wanted to find out. I paid a lot of money for the Mirena, and it was only half used up. I had another 2 years to go. I was very upset. But now, done is done. I scheduled a histogram in the Cleveland clinic about a month later. That doctor had me screaming on the table as they inserted dye inside my uterus. I gathered that was not a normal reaction as he was definitely surprised. I basically could not walk when I got outside, and fell on top of a bush. Luckily, someone drove me, and was able to pick me up. I proceeded to get an infection in my uterus after that. I made several trips back to the Clinic. The physicians assistant said that they wanted me in IV antibiotics immediately, and didn't even want to give me pills, as they thought I was dire. (They were right, kudos to them). They sent me to the ER downstairs, and the communication between the departments wasn't there. We sat in the ER for 6 hrs, and they ran tests, and finally, I was told I had fibroids, and that was what was causing my pain, and I was sent home without meds. I proceeded to go downhill for the next few days. My fiancand eacute; insisted to bring me back to the same physicians assistants, but now, I could barely walk. They were very upset, and prescribed me pills. I proceeded to finally get better, but I have no idea if this ruined my fertility. The histogram revealed that I was fine, before the infection. I have been trying since to get pregnant( 2 yrs). It's heartbreaking. I felt that communication was horrible at this Clinic. I would not go back again. I have a new friend who is a nurse and she told me that Cleveland Clinic is not good. She told me any of the Memorial Hospitals, or the Baptist hospitals are good. She works at Memorial Hospital in Hollywood. I trust a nurse's opinion. They know the inside scoop. Of course if you are lucky, you can find good doctors anywhere. Anyone can do a pap smear, but that doesn't make a good doctor. I am still looking for one that can do more than a pap smear and really listen to me, and communicate well.

  • She is one of the worst doctors I have ever been to. I find it amazing she has so many great reviews. This woman was extremely insensitive to the fact that I wanted to have children, but was experiencing very painful periods. She said We just needed to "rip that uterus out". I was hysterical and crying in the car. My fiance nearly had to drive there to pick me up. I told a coworker of my horrible experience, and she told me that she had the same experience with this woman, and she had her in tears too. She wished she had known I was going to see her to warn me. She was not understanding at all about my painful periods. I can imagine if you only see her for a yearly pap, and dont have any problems, she might pass the test. If you have issues, I encourage you to find a more compassionate doctor that is interested in helping you. I also had to wait in waiting room for over an hour.
