    I lost my car key, my insurance Co. refer this Co. Technician removed the door panel to access to the electronic/computerized key system; because his computerized device was down and he can not connect to the car's computer. Beginning his job middle afternoon, then he left leaving my car exposure; mention that he need provided other service and in the mean time get the head key info from the office. Don't believe that. He come back around 7 pm put back the door panel and handle the keys to me. Master/electronic key was working property, but he never try the handle key. Months after I lost my key again an try to use the handle key, but this one DONT works; call them, they didn't take the responsibility because the warrantee already expire (2 months). how can expired for a manual key? Insurance co. never support me. Call other Co. to make a new Electronic key and fix the door problem. The tech. found: Lock system was installed improperly... he removed door panel and repair the lock...(for that reason the manual key never can not open the door) and make a new Head key for much less money(total bill $260). All this process just 1:00 with the properly computerized system and tolls. Call back Locksmith... never accepted the damages expenses that cost me to repair the door lock.     Professional and on-time service, with great communication.  The owner was prompt in returning my calls and answering questions.  The workers were very friendly and knowledgeable.  When the job became more complicated than expected, the team communicated all the steps with us and found a good solution.  Fair and honest company that offers workers' compensation, general liability certificate and license verification.  The photos and full report were also sent by the company right away for required documentation purposes.  Highly recommend.

    I avoided having to deal with the insurance directly. Proactive knew exactly how to talk to them, and what their responsibilities are. Also, there are a lot of small details that the insurance forgets to include on the claims, and Proactive made sure that all the damages had been covered.
    My house had a direct lightning hit that damaged the entire roof, water got in damaging ceiling, walls, floors, baseboards and some of the electrical. The very next day, Proactive send us a crew to start drying the walls, floors and the ceiling, as well as covering the roof with a tarp. They came back every day to check on the humidity levels and to check for mold. The removed damaged flooring to speed up the drying. They actually saved the insurance the cost of replacing walls and remove mold by reacting so fast and efficiently. I did not see any of those bills, Proactive passed the charges directly to the insurance.
    Equipment connected to the electrical was also damaged and Proactive sent their own inspector to check and list all the equipment that needed replacement or repairs. Another inspector came to check for structural damage. The insurance had to append their list of repairs/replacements to meet Proactive findings.
    Overall, we dealt ONLY with Proactive, which worked on my side, and they did all the talking and paper work with the Insurance Company. The end result was that we received proper funds to restore my house to the condition that I had before the lightning damage.
    I am very happy with their professionalism and  you feel that you are talking to someone who knows the business, and someone that sticks to the rules and regulations, and gets the best for you under the correct conditions.

    Charles showed up between the one hour time frame specified, He called a few minutes before he was due to arrive and let me know he'd be a little late. (But not outside of the agreed time frame) when he got here, he went right to work on replacing the lock, Charles was friendly and courteous. Due to an unusual thickness of my gate, the screws that came with the lock were not long enough. Charles looked through his inventory to try and find screws what would work, He didn't find any. He apologized and advised me that he would need to go to a machine shop and pick up some screws that would work. I suggested that he get the screws and come by and install the lock and put one key under my door mat and I would take the other key and put on my key ring. He agreed to that and the next day he came by while I was here and got the job finished up with-in 10 minutes.These guys are hard working and responsible adults, something that's not easy to find here in South Florida. This was my first Angie's list experience and I couldn't be more pleased with the results.Thanks

    Jose, the owner, was very nice at first. Within a month or so I had the first accidental set-off and failure to communicate with the monitoring service. They came out, tested the system and stated there was nothing wrong. Even tested it to show me. Several weeks later it was again set off with no signal sent to monitoring. Again they came out, tested it and again no problem. I requested and had a wireless FM tx.installed for backup. Again, an accidental setoff and no signal to monitoring, even with backup. By March of 2006, I had eight setoffs with no signal received by monitoring. I no longer had any confidence that the signal from my house was being received by any monitoring service, except when the service man was at my home. I cancelled my contract, hired ADT locally, and have had the best of service since. ADT had to re-install new equipment because the original devices used were the cheapest available, and ADT only uses the highest grade devices.
