Lousy job. They dropped tools in the NEW bathtub causing holes in it that they did not bother to fix. Broke the tile on my bathroom floor with their tools that they didn't fix, cut a hole in the wall in the adjoining bedroom. Took them two weeks to finish the job because they would show up and work 2 -3 hours a day and leave a huge mess that they did not bother to clean up. Would not recommend at all.

It's highly unfortunate I am writing this review but I do not want others to make the same mistake that I made in hiring Scott Anderson for a job. First I would like to explain what it was I had done so whomever is reading this has a reference. Me and my wife had decided to re-tile our master bath, we had the shower fiberglass insert taken out and the shower re-tiled up to the ceiling and also had it wrapped around the wall the shower head is on above the bath tub in order to create fluidity. We had decorative tile put in as well with a stone floor and seat. 1. Scott said it would take 3 - 4 days, it took him 12 working days. (job was never completed) 2. He was late everyday, this caused problems with our daily schedule seeing as how I work and my daughter is in school. 3. He would take frequent smoke breaks (not a big deal) but our house would smell like cigarette smoke and it seriously impeded his work ethic and he left his and his workers cigarette butts in my lawn. 4. Poor workmanship and quality on the tile. a. shower door installed backwards b. when he wrapped the tile, the tile was not in line and the cuts were jagged and uneven, when I asked him to fix it he grinded down the tile with a grinder, damaging the tile further, and left black marks all over the tile that I can't wash away. c. scuffed up and put holes in my wall and door frames pretty bad when taking out the fiber glass insert. d. was cutting tile in the bathroom when he didn't need to creating a huge mess that he did not clean up. e. He did a poor grout job, you can see the mortar bleeding through the grout. f. He did a poor mortar job making the tile uneven and not level. 5. He clogged our drain. He forgot to bring his snake so he couldn't fix it. we had standing water in our shower for three days. Each day we tried to get him to come out and fix the clog but each day we were stood up. 6. We have $220 left to pay him but will not be paying him due to the money we had to spend on a plumbing company to come out and fix the clog. I have pictures to prove all of the claims that I am making, I have many more than four but it is not allowing me to upload more than four. Again this is not how I wanted this to go, it was a complete nightmare and it does not make me want to do this ever again. My desired end state in writing this review is so that others don't make the same mistake I did in hiring Scott Anderson.

They are not the cheapest but they are very reasonable! When it comes to granite you never go with the cheapest because you really do get what you pay for! From my first encounter with John Cassidy the sales manager i had a wonderful experience!!! He was very professional and knew what he was talking about! It was a very fun experience especially when you get to pick how your kitchen is laid out on the granite slabs! When it came time for the installation the guys were on time, clean, professional, knowledgeable and very happy to be at work! I had a lot of work done! two full granite splashes with not one single seam in the whole kitchen! also they were able to match the veining in the granite counters with the full splashes! I was very impressed and they got it all done in one day!

    Onsite Remodeling
From the moment I called Onsite they were more professional and impressive than any company I have spoken or worked with. Tyler was at my house the next day for a walk through and to give me an estimate. When I explained my financial situation and our budget he was understanding and was honest with me on how they could get our house fixed with our budget. My wife used this "rebuild" as an opportunity to pick out certain materials/paint colors/etc. The entire time Tyler and his him team was willing to make it happen with what she wanted, and they also have amazing recommendations which ended up making the difference in how happy we are with our home. And lastly, as I stated, our house flooded and this meant myself, wife and 1 year old daughter were living in a one bedroom apartment until our house could be rebuilt. When Tyler realized our situation he told me he would have his guys working overtime to get us back into the house as soon as possible! Sure enough, in less than two weeks he gave me the call and told me we had our house back ready for move in. (My neighbors told us that on more than one occasion, workers were working in the house well past 7 pm). I truly can't express how impressed and happy we are with Onsite and their work. If anyone is thinking about hiring them and wants to speak to me over the phone, call Onsite and ask Tyler for my phone number. I definetly recommend them for anything you need.

I was not impressed with the guy who came out. It took him really long to get there and he stayed for less than the time that he should have. He was very quick and was on his phone and he walked away while we were still talking. It took him two weeks to get back with the estimate and it was way over anything that we have had. He just was not the right fit for us so we did not even bother going with him but the quoting process itself did not cost anything. He was charging us $10,000 for one wall.

    1st Choice Home Improvements Inc.

My husband and I had high hopes when the rep came to visit with us. He spent 3 hours going over what we wanted, and making sure he had a good handle on the changes we wanted to make. We paid a deposit, went and bought all of the items which 1st choice didn't pay for (the Jacuzzi tub, fixtures, fittings, toilet and medicine cabinet) and waited for the date to start the remodel. The two demo guys were there on the day we set, had everything taken out and cleaned up quickly, and we were impressed. Unfortunately, it went downhill from there. We were away for a few days, in in that time the tiling that was done was shoddy, the shlueter that lined the tiles chipped and broken, the border we originally ordered not available, we had to go with a different mosaic pattern, but the tiler didn't tile to the specifications we asked, and then ran out of tiles (we are only talking a 9x5 bathroom) so we had to wait for more tiles to be shipped. Then when installing the tub on a Friday, the installer didn't check the piping and didn't notice the leak...which kept leaking til they turned up again Monday morning (remember we were gone); so the bedroom carpet next to the bathroom was now ruined. They ripped it out and moved all of the items out of the way and into our living room (9 days before Christmas); now we are still waiting for the carpet install. I have to say that Scott, the manager, was and has been very apologetic, took the cost of the carpet off our total bill, and has been here twice to apologize for problems in the workmanship. Unfortunately, this project which was supposed to take 10 days total has run to almost a month, and one of their guys is supposedly coming back again tomorrow to re-caulk around the bathtub, as the caulk was crumbling and falling off. I have to say that I am sorry all of this happened, but the workmanship we experienced was shoddy and unprofessional. We really did have high hopes, but we will not be using 1st Choice for our master bath or kitchen remodel coming up, and will not get a good review from us via Angie's List or verbally.

Love the soft-close drawers and hidden hinges on the cabinets.  The work was done in a professional manner and completed in the time frame  agreed upon.   They had plenty of styles and colors to choose from so I was able to find exactly what I wanted.  Will definitely tell our friends and family to go there when they decide to remodel.

    Lyday Home Plumbing LLC
I was given his name to call on a Sunday afternoon, he asked if it could wait until the next day, i said there was water in the bathroom and hallway. He came the next day 2 hours late and he showed the leak might have been in the wall of the bathroom. We went down to the basement and saw another leak over by the sewer pipe. We went back upstairs to verify where the leak was coming from. He removed the plug from the sewer pipe and replaced with a new one. He recommended a company to come out and dry the area from the sewer leak in the basement. I called him the next morning and said he needed to come back and tell me more specifics about the leak because I had an adjuster coming to look at everything as well. Adjusted told me the plug was fixed but it was still leaking. The man then started blaming everyone else for the leak still happening, after that he had to come back to fix it again. I had to request multiple times that he specifcally tell me where the leak was coming from so he knocked out the wall over the tub but still didnt answer my questions. I was relying on him to help me because he was highly recommended and he was not up front with me and not professional by accusing everyone else from his mistakes and I didn't like that he did not show up when he said he would. I feel like he took advantage of me not knowing who else to get help from. He did not finish around the tub, I had to higher another man to come out and finish the drywall around the shower. All of his labor charge is way to high.
