    I called 3 companies for quotes. Fleming brothers were not the cheapest but they won my business by being the most professional. From the moment Dave arrived for the estimate it was clear that he was not a salesman but an experienced technician with my best interest in mind. We reviewed the issues that I was having and he listened carefully to my concerns. He had clear responses to my questions and it was clear that he was knowledgeable. The other 2 companies sent young salesmen who were stumped by several of my questions. One was priced higher and one slightly lower. On the day of installation Dave and Doug showed up on time and with two other technicians. They worked in synchrony, and performed the installation of the system with care and precision. The air handler is located upstairs surrounded by white carpet in a narrow hallway. There was not a scratch on the walls or a stain on the carpet when they left. I was very impressed.

    Mrs. Murphy, Tim Jr. and the Air Murphy AC and Refrigeration team have been great! We just purchased a new home and were in need of 3 new AC systems to replace the worn and dated units. They gave us their recommendations and informed us of our options (we even inquired about more expensive units and were advised that they weren't necessary for our situation). Their honesty was very much appreciated! I'm pretty sure that some companies may have taken that opportunity to sell us what we really didn't need just to make an extra buck. All 3 systems were installed promptly within the first 2 days our initial call. I can't express enough how happy we've been with their prompt, honest, professional and courteous service. We definitely recommend Air Murphy AC and Refrigeration and will continue to use them for all of our AC and Refrigeration needs!

    I discovered a water leak in an elbow joint of the PVC pipe and because my allergies have been worsening, I also knew my unit needed to be cleaned of the dust and mold accumulation. I called AMI to see my unit and give me an idea of what had to be done and offer an estimate. In the course of the day, I spoke with three women in the office ��� Robin, Toni, and Sarita, who confirmed the appointment. They did accommodate me by fitting me in the same day, and Steve, a technician, came by to look at the unit. He gave a complicated description of removing the PVC piping in order to perform the repair when I wondered aloud why the piping couldn't be sealed more simply. He also said he could have the evaporator coils cleaned but I would have to sign absolving AMI of responsibility if something happens to the unit because it has been cleaned more than once previously and each cleaning breaks down the unit more; therefore, a problem could occur damaging the unit. I asked if the air handler could be replaced without having to also replace the compressor, and he said that would not be possible, because the refrigerant has changed since 2009, when I bought my townhouse, and so it's all or nothing, leading me to believe that the only alternative was to replace the entire system. He said if I did want the less extensive option, he could give me an estimate, which came to $473.49 for the coil cleaning and $169.00 to fix the water leak in the joint of the PVC piping, which struck me as excessive. He also gave me estimates for replacing the entire system. When he left, he told me I owed a service charge of $80.00. At no time when I scheduled the appointment nor when the time was verified was I told that I would have to pay $80 for assessing the job, as many companies offer free estimates and/or second opinions, and I would not have had Steve come out if I knew I would be levied a charge, especially one so excessive. I told Steve that no work had been performed, I was not informed of the charge and I would not pay it. The next day, I received a very rude and nasty message from Toni, informing me that I was told of the charge, that the women sit close together and the phone call was heard, and that if I didn't pay the $80, a lien would be put on my property. I could buy the air conditioner and in that case, the $80 would be applied to the sale, but if I didn't, she repeated, a lien would be put on my property. Now I'm sure Toni will respond with a denial of my version, saying that I was told of the charge. I insist I wasn't ��� as Toni acknowledged in her phone message, which I am saving, they were swamped that day, and they did their best to fit me in. Perhaps as a function of staff being so busy, another customer was informed of the charge, and they believed it was me. But there's another issue here ��� specifically, the way one speaks to customers with whom they disagree. It is easy to be polite and congenial when there is no disagreement, but disagreements conjure up attitudes and behaviors that are indicative of the way people relate to others, in general. Toni turned a disagreement into a conflict and a threat and introduced a level of ugliness that was both inappropriate and unprofessional Subsequently, I saw another air conditioning specialist who did not charge for an estimate and said it was totally unnecessary to invest in a new system. He quoted a reasonable price for the repair and servicing. After he completes the work, I look forward to giving him a positive review.

    Excellent! Technician did a very good job and very professional. We have used them for over 15 years and very pleased! Today we needed a part, which he had on the truck and installed right away...no second appointment or waiting around. We also get a discount on the part since we have the maintenance contract.

    Bruce's professionalism was amazing. I contacted several companies before him and got the runaround. He was polite and took care of me right away. I had to wait several days for the compressor since it wasn't available locally. He contacted me frequently to give updates on it's arrival. As a customer, it's nice to have that peace of mind. The repair went smoothly and the price was more than fair. He even called a week later to follow up and make sure everything was ok. In this day and age, that's unheard of. A simple gesture like that goes a long way and I'll be recommending him to everyone I know.

    I had used them last year and had a good experience with them so I had them come back out again this year. They came and left really quickly and didn't even address or resolve my issue and reason for having them come out. They never responded to my call afterward either.

    The project went well, this was a all in one - package system supported on the house. A new support bracket was fabricated to the new unit and supported very well with vibration dampers used and clips to retain. Crane lift required for removal of old unit and setting of the new unit. Duct work was added for a 2 stage system. all joints, seams were taped and mastic. This was a 3 man job, with Casey as the lead technician, all work together as a team for a very professional installation. Cleaned up the job site, went over the features of the new unit... This company was referred to be by 2 employees... It is nice to find a responsible, on time, contractor that has a great work ethic *****

    The technician arrived on time, was courteous and knowledgeable , and was sure to wear protective booties over his work shoes every time he was working inside my home . He checked each unit and made necessary repairs as he went along. he showed me the parts that needed replacement and is the only technician to properly diagnose and fix the humidity problem I was having with one unit . I recommend RCI highly ( 5 stars )

    A.M.I was the first to respond. Talked to the tech on duty and explained the issue. He went over what the after hour charge was whether he could fix it or not. I still requested he come out. He was at the house within 3 hours of the call. Glad he came out as he diagnosed it as the Capacitor for the compressor fan. Quite expensive for a capacitor and they don't take discounts listed on Angies list or website for after hour calls which was a bummer. I am happy however as my house is nice and frosty again.

    They were wonderful. I was getting very worried and concerned, but thank God it was something minor. I wasn't home, but my son was here with them. He was here half an hour and he fixed it right away. This was a miracle visit. I would absolutely use them again.
