    Hello to everyone that has insurance be very careful with Baptist Health Urgent Care for labs. They will send your labs to an OUT OF NETWORK DOCTOR and you are responsible for the bill. Be very careful, I will never go to them again. They do not care if you do or don't have health insurance. Be careful.

    I have been buying individual health care for years EXCEPT for the last couple of years while we were on a company plan.  Now our family needed individual coverage again, and with Obamacare it is far, far more confusing than it used to be to compare and figure out the best plan.  The plans go from grim to worse (in terms of premium expenses and out of pocket costs), so it is a most unpleasant shopping experience.   Bill listened to our needs and our priorities, including needing insurance for kids away at school, and narrowed the field to a handful of plans to recommend that would be best for our situation.   After a number of phone calls back and forth (including returning calls in the evening and always very promptly), we selected the coverage and Bill got us signed up immediately.

    A most unpleasant task, but Bill helped us make the best of it.  He is a good listener, understands the issues, and has good judgment.  And a nice sense of humor was a plus!   I would highly recommend you calling Bill Kohn for your insurance needs.

    The doctors there are good. The room situation is nice. Everyone in the maternity section gets a private suite. It's a good experience there. The nurses are pretty good, for the most part. We had a good enough experience the first time to go there the second time, too, and we didn't have anything bad happen the second time. They're not very pushy. You're having a baby and you have certain ideas about how you want to do things, and they go along with how you want to do it.

    Arrived by Car to the emergency room in the evening after my accident. I was in excruciating pain and the waiting area was full with people with way less severe conditions, was told I had to wait behind people with minor cuts and coughs. I had scrapes and cuts on my face from hitting a tree and told them I hit my head and was let in immediatly due to possible head trauma ( this was my only saving grace without this I would have waited for hours in great pain due to the severe fracture i suffered). Took doctors forever to administer morphine that barley helped.
    After x rays determined my severe injury I was informed I would need surgery and would receive it the next morning. Next morning arrived and I was told I would have to wait to the following morning which really ticked me off as I was very uncomfortable and under heavy doses of heavy pain killers and i had to spend an extra night in the hospital, not to mention not having heath insurance this extended stay cost me an extra $10,000.
    Surgery went ok, woke up in recovery room in excruciating pain, was not given proposer pain killer. Was rushed out of recovery, and charged an extra $2000 for staying in recovery for an extra 30 minutes because of their mistake not giving me appropriate pain killer after an internal fixation of my tibia which requires drilling through my knee cap to insert a titanium rod.
    After getting back to my room everything was ok until I wanted to try a lighter pain killer that evening ( surgery was at 6am). After the lighter pain killer (percocet) was not sufficient I was told that the surgeon was not to be called basically becuase I was bothering him too much. The next morning the surgeon shows up on his rounds with a horrible attitude telling me and my fiance that and quot; this is not hotel and we cant be bothering him and the nurses because there busy and were not the only patientsand quot;.
    To top all of this off I am trying to negotiate my bill because I am uninsured and can not get an answer from anybody about a reduced rate and or payment options. They all tell me its being forwarded to a supervisor and someone will call back and they never do. In the mean time they keep sending me statement and calling me for payment like I can just give them a credit card for $60,000.
    Overall my experience was unpleasant but I feel they did a decent job treating my injury.

    All my care was provided smoothly. The front desk attendant was very nice, as well as the nurse who initially evaluated me. The physician was knowledgeable, and the treatment I was received went well. My discharge instructions were thorough and easy to understand.

    It is clean and much less crowded than the hospital. The doctors do not rush. Accessibility is much better here. They limit their scope of practice to minor injuries and illnesses. For this reason they are much more efficient.

    We like them than any other pharmacies around. They are really good. The pharmacist is really knowledgeable. Everyone is always pleasant. I never really have to wait a long amount of time for our prescription because it's a big thing. They are very professional. The store environment is great. It's my second home and I know exactly where the things are. We have the insurance and on some of the antibiotics for 7 days supply, some of them are actually free. They did provide this for the people; but overall experience, they are really good for price.

    They have a great website. You can request that they send you an e-mail of a refill that is coming due. They can automatically refill it for you. They can also automatically charge your credit card, so when you get the e-mail you pick up your refill without any hassle at all. The wait times are reasonable. It is usually a short line. The staff is friendly. The manager is very professional and friendly.
