  • Generally, he's a very caring doctor. He listens very carefully to what the issues are and what you're looking to accomplish. He has become very busy now. He's taking ObamaCare patients. His office overall makes him very available. If I would not be able to go and see him specifically, he has another doctor that's also there. If you have an issue, they'll try and make the time to get you in. I'm very happy with them.

  • Dr. Marika must be very good as she is booked months in advance so I always see her Nurse Practitioner. To be honest, I've always stayed away from anyone other than the doctor. However, the Nurse Practitioner there is very thorough, patient, and kind and it's quite easy to get an appointment with her. As a former nurse, it takes a lot for me to be comfortable with someone regarding my health. She has earned my respect.
As for the staff, less than personable. I had paid a bill through my HSA and was told that I had not. I had to get the HSA rep on the phone with the office to provide the payment information, which took time out of my busy schedule. The error was on the end of the doctor's office. I guess I may be a bit critical but never once did the staff person handling the situation say thank you or apologize.

  • I've always gotten a quick appointment with Dr. Schertzer for the 10+ years I've been seeing him, but DO be persistent when trying to make an appointment; the lunch break time is frequently longer than what's listed. The Nurse Practitioner s top notch if you only need a prescription refill.

The exam and waiting rooms are always clean with plenty of comfortable seating, walking space, and a TV. Note: Bring your own reading material; their mags are boring and out-dated. There is ample parking with convenient handicap spots -- but -- THERE IS NOTHING TO SIT ON IF YOU HAVE TO WAIT FOR A RIDE.

Dr. Schertzer and most of his staff are ALWAYS pleasant and professional. I did have a problem with one staff member years ago when I needed an E.K.G. Because of back problems, I had difficulty getting on the table and asked for her help. She brought me a step, but when I told her I really needed her help, she stayed across the room and told me to just keep trying. I relayed the incident to the doctor, and have not had to deal with her again.

Dr.Schertzer does not rush an appointment, and will give you all the time you need to describe your problems. You will not find a more compassionate and competent doctor.

  • It was good. He's very thorough. It takes me an hour or maybe longer to get to him and to drive that far, he must be pretty good. Sometimes you wait for 15 minutes, sometimes you wait an hour depending on how it goes. Their staff is very friendly. His bedside manner is very good.

  • She is new to me, but she is pleasant and efficient and so is her staff, very friendly. Her office is a new one, in which she just moved in. I use her as my primary care doctor, because of the convenience of  her location and recommendation by a friend.

  • I got to his practice when I was very sick several years ago after having gone to many many doctors (specialists, walk in clinics and even the ER). Dr. Fenton was able to cure me after the damage of excess antibiotics and other medications given to me over a year and a half but other doctors. With supplements mostly, although he will use normal drugs if needed, he was able to rebuild my immune system and get me up and going. I continue going to him and sent my husband too. I am waiting my children reach the age when he sees children (5 years old) and will take them to him if they get sick without any second thoughts.
    I like:
    1) The appointment is the first one 1 hour and from there on every appointment is half an hour (or more if needed) and you will not wait more than 5 minutes in the waiting room. He is very very strict with the appointment times. I love it.
    2) Given the time he spends with you he is very thorough identifying what is the problem
    3) He has an approach where he looks at the big picture, what is wrong that causes whatever is you have, not only let's go and give some drugs and it will hopefully get better.
    4) He will explain your blood (or any other) result very thoroughly, going over what each exam tested, why, your results, how it changed from the last time, what it means, why and what has to be done if anything.
Don't you want to go to him already???!! I highly recommend it to anybody but mostly to many who continue in the quest of going to several doctors and are just given drugs after drugs with only a 10 minute evaluation and after waiting forever in a waiting room.
