Tony did a great job of clearing the pipe, plus, telling us what to do next time it happen. He looked at the drain hole of the bathtub. He suggested a seal that would worked with the drain.

    Stable Foundation Solutions, Inc.
I'm so glad I persevered and found this company. Stable Foundation Solutions is based in Lake City but does work throughout the state. In fact, South Florida is their most frequent destination. The company is a bit of a hidden gem right now due to admittedly being slow to update the website and gain footing on the review sites. Stable Foundation was logical and analytical throughout, focusing on my needs, not what they could sell via scare tactics and worst case scenarios. Foundation diagnosis and estimates are all over the map. I found that out the hard way. Basic reason: You can’t see what is going on underneath. That bedroom sink hole several years ago accelerated public fear. I sampled 6 companies. Estimates ranged from $3600 to above $24,000. Stable Foundation wasn’t lowest but among the lowest and easily the best value in terms of sensibly addressing areas of greatest need, while leaving scare tactics alone. In contrast, I had one high profile company (beginning with N) whose salesman launched convulsions every time he turned the corner: “That’s a stepladder crack…the worst sign of all.” I think he expected me to fall down in a seizure of terror. As a handicapper I love litmus tests. There was a basic one with my project. The back addition to the house was clearly slipping, but just as obviously the two corners were not under identical stress. Back was the long term problem, not the sides. Yet one company after another was robotically assigning two piers on each side, and only one in each back corner. I didn’t say anything. I waited for someone to pass the litmus test. It was mindful of my 24 years in the Las Vegas betting scene. Finally Steven from Stable Foundation matter of factly identified the logical remedy and placement: Two push piers at each back, and only one on the less troubled side. Steven also was the only one who placed back push piers on either side of a double door that was sticking and very difficult to lock. Again, I intentionally didn’t mention that it was sticking. I wanted someone to identify the likelihood, based on the cracked visuals. Only Steven did. I really appreciated that the 3-man project crew was knowledgable and offered input, as opposed to merely showing up to complete the job. Randall was crew leader. He quickly investigated why I had cracks and sinking in so many areas. I had assigned it to a deep crack in the pool, causing erosion underneath. Randall didn’t think so. He saw the spot drain but couldn’t find anywhere it emptied. That is my only pool drain. Randall removed the drain grate and discovered that I’ve essentially had a dummy drain for 40+ years, dumping water under the foundation of the house, smack near the middle. There was 3 inches of pipe underneath the grate, but not connected to anything. Just resting there. From lack of disturbance it was obvious the pipe had never been connected. I remember my dad didn’t trust that contractor from the outset. It was mid ‘70s and one problem and delay after another. The contractor for that addition became a curse word within the family. My dad passed away several years ago. I doubt he would be surprised at the latest discovery. Miss Debbie was friendly and positive while handling payment. Only 30% was required prior to completion...lower than other companies. Travis as Project Manager provided a specific schedule 2 weeks in advance. They met the schedule. One caution: Don't paint exterior walls prior to push pier installation. The Model 300 mechanism does tend to vibrate and can bump against walls, requiring modest patching.

    Amazing Pavers
This was a horrible experience. We were told that we were being charged more because wheel barrel service was needed to get the materials to our back yard because of soft grass and a truck canno back up to our back yard or it will get stuck. They did not use the wheel barrel and got two trucks stuck and destroyed the grass in the common area and they had to fix all the damage which they did. Next we had some rain after the patio was done and all the sand leaked out from the bottom and the pavers collapsed when we walked out on them. There is still a section that is not fixed where the concrete wedge was not done correctly and sand is coming out. My husband went back and for with Jonathan who told us to put dirt there and we will be fine or to call his dad Carlos the owner. I left Carlos a message and he never called me back. Once they got their money they did not care about fixing their mistakes. The owner Carlos never called back. Do not waste your time with this company, find someone else.

    Poly Lift USA
I spoke with the office and they provided me an appointment within the same week. The gentleman that came out to give me an estimate was very knowledgeable and answered all the questions and concerns I had. The price of the project was very reasonable. It was so much more affordable than replacing my driveway. The crew was prompt, courteous and answered all the questions I had during the process. It was so amazing to watch! The process only took a few hours and I was able to park on my driveway as soon as they were done. I would highly recommend Poly Lift USA to my friends and neighbors!

    PREMIER CONSTRUCTION & PAVERS
I contacted premiere to inquire about installing a new rear patio and a small side patio. An appointment was set up to go over what we were looking to do. Kevin showed up on time for the appointment and provided several ideas/suggestions in regards to our design. While taking measurements, Kevin brought up a great idea to create/add an additional section to provide an area to set up a BBQ. We had the space and had not even thought about a separate BBQ area (still attached to large patio). Kevin was very helpful with assisting us select paver color/design that would match the trim/roof tile/theme of our home. He explained the entire process from beginning to end, as to installation, routine maintenance, etc. Kevin also explained other options if we were interested in a concrete slab, stamped concrete, etc. We picked to go with pavers. 7 days after making the order with Kevin, the pavers were dropped off in our front yard in the morning. Followed by the installation team. These guys busted their butts the entire day preparing / clearing / leveling / and ultimately installing the paver patios. They showed up the following day to finish up and cleaned up everything. I highly recommend premiere to anyone. Kevin and his team were extremely professional and their knowledge in this field is clearly evident by the quality of work and service I received. We are extremely satisfied with our 2 new patios and can't wait to have them do our driveway. I even contacted Kevin a few days later with a few questions regarding future patio maintenance, he answered all of my questions.

A Perfect Cut Concrete Cutting Inc
Marty talked through different ways to fix with me, and we chose the least expensive and least intrusive route. I have to say it was an innovative solution-- I've been asked about it twice now by other homeowners and nothing like it has been done in the neighborhood. Basically I have a 4" drain cover that leads to a 12" wide underground 'French-type' of drain. The pipe was re-barred into the concrete for stability. Very innovative, and works like a charm!

    Champion
We could not be happier. Jamie Basilio of Champion Concrete and pools was fantastic. My wife and I have made extensive renovations on 3 homes and have worked with many contractors for various projects. We have seldom had such a positive experience like we had working with Champion. Working with Jamie was refreshing. Vary fair. Delivered as promised and then some. His workers were polite and professional. But most of all, He really listened to what we wanted. We wanted a mud set Dominican Coral stone floor and remodeled pool.. We really could not find a positive reference from anyone so we turned to Angieslist and started interviewing companies. We interviewed several pool builders and several deck /flooring companies. All the pool companies would insist that I should use travertine pavers set on sand. And flooring professionals would tell me mud set installations on concrete would be much better . This left us feeling very unsure. We thought we would have to hire the pool company to strictly remodel the pool and the flooring company to do the flooring in order to get the installation that we wanted in the material that we wanted. Finally i met Jamie and fortunately he had the know how and the crew which could do the mud set deck and the pool remodel at a better overall price. We noticed that everyone that actually hired him had given him fantastic reviews. Now I know they were well deserved. Everything went exactly as promised and changes that we requested were arranged for with little or no incremental cost. If you want a no nonsense, high integrity guy, hire Jamie Basilio of Champion Concrete and pools. You will not regret it. Edward and Myriam Pinecrest Florida

    Champion
I'm almost afraid to give another positive review because I'm worried Jaime will get too busy and not be able to do future projects for me.  My wife is looking around the house for more projects just so she can have Jaime and Champion Concrete come and do the work. It's rare when you find a contractor of any kind that meets all your expectations, but Jaime certainly does. This is the second time this year we have had Jaime do work for us and the second time he has exceeded our expectations.  His price was fair and less than the other quote we got.  He was upfront about all the costs and other potential problems we might run into.  We agreed on a price and a date and time.  Jaime showed up 30 minutes EARLY and the job proceeded on time and on budget.  As usual Jaime himself was onsite to manage the job and it wasn't until several hours later when the job was virtually complete did he get called away to another site.  Our job was done perfectly and his workers stayed late to make sure the end result was up to their high standards.   I can't recommend Jaime enough.  Even if you have to wait for him, do it.
