Obgyn Care reviews in Coconut Grove

On October 10, 2012, I went to see Dr. Jila Senemar for my annual Woman's exam. While at the office, Senemar recommended that I get my preventive blood tests done during the visit. The nurse (Carrie) advised me that if I had the blood taken at their office there would be a $20 draw fee and she told me I had the option to go directly to Quest Diagnostics if I did not want to pay it. I opted to go to Quest and told Carrie to only request blood panels that would be 100% covered by my insurance. She assured me that it would be and therefore I had the services performed on 12/15/12.Since then, I have received numerous bills for Quest Diagnostics requesting payment for non-covered panels. I have made several attempts (via fax, phone, e-mail, and face-to-face) to get this issue resolved with Fem-Care and have been unsuccessful.FemCare refuses to have any communication with me to resolve this matter.

It went very well, as it usually does with Dr. Mendia.  He has been my doctor for over 15 years and has an excellent bedside manner.  He takes the time to talk to his patients and encourages questions.  Dr. Mendia is professional and caring--very rarely found today. Drs. De leon and Fidalgo are also wonderful doctors--I saw them on rotation when I was pregnant.

Based on the previous reviews, I decided to try Dr. Fink's office.
Unfortunately, I couldn't get an appointment with Dr. Fink, but I was
able to see the nurse practitioner, Maggie Wardlaw.
She really took her time to listen to my concerns and ask me questions. All of the
staff was friendly and professional. After my appointment, I had some
blood test results that required me to see a different doctor. The staff
was so helpful in recommending doctors that they prefer.
As anyone knows, it is difficult to find a doctor who you trust and who is
caring. I am happy to say that I finally found an office that I will
    stick with!

I was initially concerned as there was approximately 16 people in the waiting room for 1 doctor. The staff during my visit was very friendly and I loved my visit with the Dr. His bed side manners are top notch. The issues that I have come after the visit. I received blood work that I was supposed to get the results for 2 days later. It has been 13 days, and after 5 messages I have yet to receive a call back. I also called and left a message for the nurse or doctor about issues that I had after my exam. No call back. The person in charge of insurance approvals was supposed to have my referral by Tuesday as my ultra sound was Thursday. After many unanswered messages, I was told 45 minutes before my appointment that I needed to go through my PCP for a referral. Needless to say it was too late. At this point I have asked for the doctors email address or even the office manager so that I can try to get my results and was told that information could not be given out. I have now wasted my yearly visit on a doctor that is 45 minutes from my house and from whom I can not get any result information from, or even a call back for that manner. In summary- the visit was awesome, but I would never go back due to the follow up from the staff.

The wait was about 35 min, (about 20 min. in the outside wait area and another 10-25 min. inside the examining room). The waiting room is very large and beautiful with a flatscreen TV and a soothing wall-fountain. The doctor is very warm, acknowledges his patients by name and is aware of them as individuals. He was as gentle and swift as he could be in doing the pap smear. He answered questions, (which I had written down in advance). He eased concerns I had about the outcome of particular labs. I am thrilled to have him as my doctor for the last 8 years for gynecology.

This is my first pregnancy and did my research to find an OBGYN. I chose Dr. Albert Triana because of all the positive comments I read online and thanks to a friend whom he delivered three of her kids as well. This was my first meeting with him and his staff and was very happy with my visit. Everyone is very professional and nice; also seemed happy. Dr. Albert Triana was very attentive and made sure to take his time to talk to me and answer all my questions as this is my first pregnancy. I am very pleased to have chosen them and look forward to working with him and his staff during this wonderful process.

I got called by the nurse, who did the vitals, etc. Then went to a examination area. The doctor came, did the examination, explained everything. Then she left and then I left

Excellent in his field. He seems to be rushed during appointments. The price indicated is my co-pay.
