    Sky Light Roofing, Inc
He was referred to me by my realtor. I can honestly say I would never use him again. He was prompt. He worked with me when I lived out of state, but when I had my contractor come in and look at a lot of stuff, I knew I should have gone with a different roofer. I had them put insulation and it's falling out. It's like he overstuffed everything. By him having so many workers on my roof to do my roof quickly, he caused damage inside of one of the rooms -- because when I bought my house, there was no crack in the foundation where my closet was. When my contractor came through, he said, "This crack was caused because you had too many people on your roof. Your roof is only supposed to hold two people." He used more than two people, to have a turn around time of 24 to 48 hours. It's a flat roof with no shingles, and the price should have been about $1,000 less.

Handy Man Charlies Home & Office Repair & Haul
Charlie was able to come right out to give us a quote, which was very reasonable. He was also willing to work around our crazy schedule. He replaced the insulation and drywall on most of the back wall of the garage and the drywall to cover a big hole in the ceiling. He was able to replace a garage light that had been damaged by the water and the framing around the attic access that had been damaged when the wet drywall was torn out. When the repair was done, he matched the paint to finish the job.

They came out and made a really good case for the insulation and talked about it lowering our power bill and temperatures and everything. So far, so good.  They were great and explained everything.  They were on time and quick.  They cleaned everything up.

Called Monday 8/18/14 to get an estimate and scheduled for around noon Thursday 08/21/14.  They called to say they would be just a little late and arrived around 1 PM.  Very nice and personable.  Got right to work and cleaned up when they were done.

I like the company and the gentleman who came out. I found him to be very polite, prompt and courteous. However, when they put in the insulation, I have not seen any difference in the wattage used and overall electrical bill. In addition to the insulation, he put in an additional coating. He did explain how it would benefit me to get it, but so far, I have not seen any change in the bill.

    All Florida Insulation LLC
He was great and I was very pleased with them. He was really honest. Someone else told me I had to have all of my insulation removed and it would've been about a $3000 job. He came out and said I really wouldn't do it if I were you. He was polite, personable, and punctual and I would use him.

They arrived a slight bit late, but that was because they were held up a little by a brush fire that was burning in the area. They introduced themselves and go right to work. I had the garage door open and the latter down. They setup and started blowing insulation in the attic. They brought the insulation up to R-30 and pickup up there stuff and I paid them and they left. Very professional crew. They worked very well together. I highly reccommend there services for insulation.

I called Daniel (the owner) and set up an appointment to come view the project house.  He was quick and agreeable to set up the appointment the next Saturday.  Daniel arrived at the house 10 minutes late and came in to discuss what we were doing.  Immediately he started to tell me what he thought it was that I wanted.  I interjected him and told him very specifically what I wanted and the reasons behind it.  Daniel told me that I didn't know what I was taking about and everything I knew was wrong.  He went on to tell me more about why I was wrong and how his product was the only way to go.  He then told me that his product was "The Poor Man's Product" and that it works better than all the other products on the market.  At this point I knew that I didn't want to work with him and he was not willing to listen to me.  I told him my concerns with the product he was using and I asked him if he used any spray foam or traditional fiberglass insulation to which he responded "I don't touch the stuff, I don't believe in the stuff, and it doesn't work".  He told me that I need to do my research in all of the product and went on to try to sell me his product.  He finally finished his sales pitch and asked me if I wanted to go on with the project.  I told him that he wasn't willing to listen to me and if he wasn't going to do so and install the product that I had requested there was no reason to go on.  Overall it was a very bad experience and his products are good only for some situations and he is trying to use his one product for all situations.  My biggest offence was when he told me that I didn't know what I was talking about and needed to do my research.  Before calling him I had done months and months of research going to several other houses like mine and I had talked to the home owners, read up on all the ways to insulate my house, talked to other professionals, and had 3 other companies out to bid on the project.  Based upon my research I know what I want and the best route for my project.

If you have an existing house and aren't doing a complete remodel and want a quick cheap way to insulate your house his product may be for you however I wouldn't have him do the service.

    Comfort Seal Roof Systems Inc
An innovative plastic sheet product. Company is very confident in value and durability of the product/system. Stated on multiple occasions, "We haven't lost a roof yet [to a hurricane]". We shall see. They also arranged for rot damaged wood to be replaced by an affiliated contractor. Work was done quickly and site was cleaned up well. Added insulation has definitely made a noticeable change already. Expensive, but according to their ad is the last roof I will ever have to buy.
