  • Orlando Recover Center employs high-pressure sales tactics to exploit family members in vulnerable situations while their loved ones struggle with drugs and/or alcohol. Sales called multiple times per day taking full advantage of the desperate situation. At the time, they seemed to have genuine concern for the alcoholic and affected family members. Once the patient entered treatment, all communication stopped. After admission into their Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), we immediately paid $3,000 insurance deductible for out-of-network coverage. We were advised by finance that no additional out of pocket expenses would be required. After twelve weeks of treatment, we received a statement for nearly $5,000. The statement clearly showed 'balance billing'. Example - $250 for a drug test; allowed amount $25; insurance paid 50% - $14.50 - due to out of network. We were billed the entire balance - $235.50 and not the remaining 50%. In addition, the statement showed double-billing - charges were not only billed to our insurance, but also directly to us as self-pay. In the end, our bill was nearly $8,000. After a call to the billing office, they admitted to balance billing and promised to correct it; However, we received an immediate call back explaining that the billing was correct. We immediately sent a certified letter to their billing office explaining the issue and as of this writing, we have not received a reply after two months. Although their IOP program was effective, the billing practices of Orlando Recovery Center are immoral and possibly illegal. We do not recommend this treatment center. Do not fall for their high-pressure sales and look for treatment elsewhere.

  • All of my visits went very well. I was taught coping techniques over the course of my treatment. Most of which I still use today. The only real complaint I have would be about the front desk staff. One of them can be incredibly rude when you call for any reason. She also doesn't answer the phone very often and calls aren't returned when you leave a voice mail. I learned to call as often as I needed to in order to reach someone.

  • My experiences during all of my four visits have been fantastic. The building is in a great location, the office is very comforting, and the receptionist is wonderful. I usually wait less than 10 minutes. Dr Dhungana is very polite and kind. Her office is very professional and comfortable. She does not sit behind a desk silently typing or scribbling notes as you speak. Rather, she engages you in an organic and caring conversation. I leave each visit feeling refreshed and positive.

  • Dr. Neil took time with me, didn't rush me, and gave great explanations of why the recommendations of my past psychiatrists may not have been accurate.

  • I would go back to him even with the over booking because he's that good
