    Called about a car on Cars dot com at 3 pm on Dec 12, 2018. Spoke to salesperson and said I wanted car, was at work, would put $500 down with credit card and would drive directly to Clermont the moment I was off work and would there by six thirty. Was told "we don't hold cars" but I'll speak to my GM and it shouldn't be a problem so long as you get here by six thirty". Asked again why I couldn't put a hold on car for 2 - 3 hours with a credit card like I have done before with other cars I've purchased last year at dealers in Tampa and Miami Was told "not our policy" GM is Nick Petrone. Asked that they call me if car sells in meantime since it was a long drive in rush hour traffic. Arrived at dealer at five twenty a full 70 minutes ahead of time. Walked in asked if car was still available, was told yes, walked to car and was about to test drive when Nick tells me "sorry car just sold...someone walked in ahead of you" I was livid. I had called at 3 pm and wanted a hold til six thirty at latest and was willing to pay to do so. All Nick would say was "sorry...policy is we don't hold cars" In this age of e-commerce it's incredible that they Nick refuses to conduct business over the internet and will not put someone who says they want it at 3 pm but can't get there until after work ahead of someone who strolls in. Nick refuses to make exceptions to policy, defends his archaic way of doing business by stating that we don't sell cars over the internet, wastes customers time and offers no real apology or offer to make amends. Totally, incredibly, lacking in modern customer service skills and offers up a meager "sorry" and acts defensive. In summary do not do business with Toyota of Clermont. Customers are just numbers in GM Nick's world and policy is set in stone he carved with no exceptions! Secondary observation. If you ever saw the movie Boiler Room you've gotten a glimpse of Toyota of Clermont. Total Frat House environment. Greeted by 10 men in blue polo shirts all huddled near front door. Inside all men. Management, again all men staring out from Counter behind glass all observing the customer seating area. One young salesman working around making bird sounds at the top of his lungs. It was truly like stepping back in time to the way dealers did business in the 1980s. GM Nick Petrone rules over this mess and I assume by his aloof, cocky, defensive personality rather enjoys it. . Beautiful modern building holding a business model from Back in Time.

    I can't say enough about the quality of this business and the people behind it. These people are as honest and the day is long - good, decent, and transparent. He treated us so well and fairly, I still consider it a Christmas miracle that we found him. I am truly grateful for how honest the whole family was. Half the battle in getting car repairs done is finding honest people that you can trust that also know what they are doing. You will find this at Sam's. Our vacation was ruined before it started but it was saved because I was lucky enough to find Sam's. Give them a call if you have tranny problems - you will not regret it. FIVE STARS all the way.

    They always check everything out like the fluids, air filters, and tire pressure. It's a good feeling to leave there and know everything is ok. We've gone back there several times for different things. They've just been great.

    This is the second time I've dealt with Roli at Solomon's auto body. He did not replace all the parts on my vehicle i needed a part replaced that pumps air into the engine that heats it up. the main thing is it took two months and the work still isn't done! My right front light is now not working prior to the work performed. He did not check after himself and the horn on the car now sounds like a bicycle bell. i just want to warn everyone not to take your car to this guy!

    They did a super job, Jay was very professional and offered several options for the repairs without trying to push me to pay the most money. I left my car there on a Monday night around the time they closed, Jay called at 11am on Wednesday to let me know it was ready. The hood looks brand new, like nothing ever happened to it. The price was very fair for the amount of work they did and they even gave me a ride to the rental car agency. Color Recon is the only place I will contact if I ever need this kind of cosmetic paint repair again.

    They spent 4 days working on my Jaguar and trying to find out why I was having an electrical problem.  When they could not figure it out, they sent me to another place in Orlando and they fixed the problem.  But Steve’s Auto spent at least 4 or 5 days working on the car and they took care of everything and they diagnosed every circuit and they didn’t charge me for it.  They were so nice.  They honest work and go beyond their work.

    Mechanics Plus
    I got the run around from the dealer, first it was one thing, and that did not work. Schedule again, now a week, and we will see. I checked Angie's List and called  to the Bill at Mechanics Plus, he said bring it down to the shop (same day), he could take test drive and see what was causing the problem. 30 minutes later, I am at the shop. Bill and I test drive my truck and he immediately diagnosis the problem. Pretty simple. I asked the Bill to check my brakes, the dealership said I needed new brakes. 
    Two hours later my truck is fixed, no more problems. Bill said that I had about 40% left of service, so no brakes needed.
    Whole experience went very well, saved hundreds of dollars and a bunch of grief. I am done with the dealer.

    My mom told him that something wasn't right with the last repair he did.  He said that she was insulting him.  He had her car in his place of business and proceeded to look in her glove box and look at her insurance card and call her insurance company and tell them that she is not fit to drive.  She is perfectly capable of driving.  He is not very friendly and does not carry his business well.  I also went to see him before to look at a tire and he snapped at me as well.  I would not recommend him to others.
