    I want to start by saying I don���t leave bad reviews because I feel it is bad Karma, but this one was technically requested by Tim from Regal Flooring. I prefer to just warn people in person if I hear them shopping for a product. It started off well. Tim was easy to schedule for installation and. He said he does a lot of construction business. I couldn���t find many reviews for this company minus 1 other bad review on Google that I sadly didn���t take to heart. Clearly no one was thrilled enough to leave positive reviews. I can now see why. Fast forward to the installation. My wife stopped by the installation and Tim was not there, which is fine, but the lady sitting there on her phone in our kitchen had no idea who Tim was. Which was incredibly strange. I guess that was foreshadowing. When they finished, they grabbed most of their stuff and left. It was a confusing moment. We had carpet shags all over like someone blew them out of confetti poppers. We had dirt foot prints all over the house including our brand new carpet!!! I was missing nearly a full roll of Painter tape because that is clearly a normal supply for carpet installation. At least they left me some of their Carpet pad cement for us to throw a way for them. My wife was quite unhappy because of the mess. Then while checking the rooms she found they had cut nearly a quarter sized gash in our baseboard in the closet. Of course it is not on the flat part, it is in the curve so you can���t just use wood filler. This is a closet that I just 3 days prior painted so I was quite familiar with that fact it wasn���t there before they came. The most shocking part of this poor workmanship was a piece of loose wood laminate just sitting there unattached in front of our master bedroom next to where the carpet ended. The laminate piece sitting loose didn���t even cover the entire space left. You could see the bare floor around it on all sides We contacted Tim immediately. When he finally answered, he came by and my wife informed him the place was a mess, showed him baseboard damage, and the loose laminate they had left for us. He actually told her there was nothing wrong with the installation. Was he blind?? or do his installers do worse work than this? My wife had to convince him to fix the loose piece of laminate which he did reluctantly. When I got home and saw the mess and I was shocked. I called him thinking I was going to be working with an honest nice person who cared about his team���s workmanship. Boy was I wrong. He was a complete jerk. I informed him they didn���t clean up and they damaged our baseboard that it still needed to be attended too. He informed me that I needed to go buy some wood patch and that I should find the vacuum and clean up their mess myself. I was completely shocked at his arrogance. He also told me ���I was lucky he didn���t charge me to fix the laminate they messed up.��� I told him I was going to send the payment minus 150 dollars and give him time to clean up and repair the baseboard or to pay for someone else to do it. He then informed me that he was going to file a lien on my house. He actually tried to do that over $150. Was he really serious!?!? I regrettable paid him the full amount because I didn���t want Tim to have an option of placing a lien. So my only recourse at this point is to tell the world that Tim is a complete jerk and don���t make the mistake I did. He told me if I had a problem with his installation that I should not refer him to anyone. You can check that off the list. I will tell every single person I possibly can to run if they see Tim. If you are using a General Contractor in Central Florida, please ensure they don���t have Regal Flooring on their list. My carpet is not even a full month old and the edges where it joins to the tile already look loose. I am going to have to pay someone else to either place something over those edges or re-tuck the edges. Please save yourself the trouble. Nick Whidden

Everyone was professional and polite with such a positive attitude. Their work was EXCELLENT! I can't thank them enough. They were fun to work with.     Tyler was awesome! His team came out and prepared surface by diamond sanding cement floor, did light crack repair/fill, applied epoxy to floor and added flakes. After dried they scraped floor and applied two more top coats. The quality of work is amazing. EVERY person that has looked at the floor or passed through the garage has commented on how great the floor looks. I just bought the house and was contemplating whether or not I should do, well I absolutely don't regret it!!!!!!

    It Kris specified work will be done in 3 days however it was performed in 1 day and rushed. horrible work on trimming. horrible paint job of the stair treads. The color doesn.t even match the rest of hardwood. Treads were paint the before installation and were installed while still wet.
    He was to come 1 wk later to evaluate work done. Never showed up. Schedule 3 times appointments and never called to cancel, never answered his phone either. Still waiting on him to come back at finished. Still not answering phone calls and when I get a hold of him he keeps providing excuses.
    Do not use this guy. He is no professional. His workers turn over rate is high because he doesn't pay them on time.

    Provider installed carpet in our home and it is buckling everywhere. Inspector lifted a small section because it was not installed properly and said we needed to call the company to have it re-stretched which they obviously did not do properly. Now, will not honor warranty because the original homeowner who had it installed 5 months has now moved out as they were listing the house and because the inspector lifted the corner up. Absolutely ridiculous that they installed it incorrectly and won't fix it. I wish you could post pictures on Angie's List and I hope they enjoy the BBB submission. Lost my business.

    These guys were awesome! They cleaned up as they went along, and were very professional and courteous. Relondo secured a wood for me that no one else in the area could. He was flexible to get exactly what I wanted even with a special glue (which was formaldehyde free). The installers were great - they were friendly, and even helped install pads on the furniture so they didn't mess up the floors. The head installer even helped the garbage collectors dispose of the old carpet. They even adjusted their schedules to let me paint the quarter round moldings before they put them on to save me the task. They also left me with the excess wood, so I won't have to match the wood again if there are any accidents in the future! The wood distributor was out of California from a company known as Urban Floors.

    As a customer still living in SC, I worked with Cisco over the phone.  All transactions were completed this way and he was always responsive in getting back to me.  Due to the timing of my move and my availability to get the job completed while the house was bare of furniture, he worked with me on scheduling the dates.  He has a very nice crew of men and they were all friendly and worked hard.

    As we progressed through the job, any changes that would reflect the change in the price was always discussed and options were explained.

    This turned into a customer service nightmare from the moment after the "Rug King" got my payment via credit card.  We originally purchased in-stock engineered hardwood flooring, tile, and baseboard. The materials themselves were of good quality, and immediately available for delivery. We arranged for delivery with-in 1 business day; however, 2 days later we were informed by the company that they were having problems scheduling with their third party delivery service and it would take another several days to get on the schedule. At this point we were about a week beyond the next -day delivery promised and paid for.

    During the course of their extensive delay, we changed plans and decided to carpet rather than install the hardwood.  After looking at the "Rug Kings" return policy on-line, it was a standard return new-condition policy allowing 100% return for unused material. Since we hadn't actually taken delivery, nor had it been pulled from in-stock inventory, there appeared to be no problems. "Appeared" is the operative word here.  As soon as I called to change the order, the sales help stated that the company had a non-negotiable 20% restock fee on all materials purchased, whether picked up, delivered or merely paid for.  I stated the above facts, concerning their on-line return policy and the now 2 week overdue next day delivery. This fell on deaf ears; they insisted that only the owner, the very "Rug King" himself could change his policy. At this point I returned to the warehouse to continue the conversation and was shown the plethora of 20% restock fee printed sheets seemingly taped to every vertical surface. Their issue seemed to be that I should have seen their bright yellow 20% re-stock fee flyers everywhere and not concentrated so much on the verbal assurances from the owner that there would be no problems with returns, nor their stated on-line return policy.  It should be noted here that all employees and the Rug King himself were very friendly and non confrontational, just not particularly helpful. It was just that they seemed to like their 20% restock fee policy so much better than their on-line policy.

    Now the great day had arrived that I was granted an audience with the "Rug King" in person.  I stated that I was now aware of both of their official policies, but wanted to see if we could work out an arrangement that allowed us a win/win solution. I showed him the carpeting he had in stock that I would like to substitute for the hardwood flooring. He figured and scribbled and calculated and finally announced that he would allow a substitution and even refund the difference WITHOUT paying his restock fee. The only catch for this munificence was that I use his carpet installer, a very prompt and capable installer I am told. His installation fee of $5.00 a yard was high, but worth the extra money. At this point I was so relieved I agreed immediately, his $1000 fee was nearly the same as the $1200 re-stock fee so it seemed like a wash.

    Now begins the next phase of the Rug King saga.

    His prompt and capable installer was scheduled to come to my home and measure for the carpeting that afternoon or the following day. At the end of the second day, I called the warehouse and asked again when the installer would come by to measure. After expressing incredulity that he had not appeared, the sales clerk called the installer with me listening to the conversation. The prompt and capable installer stated that he was having difficulty with a job and was delayed - he would arrive the next day to measure. At the end of the following day, I stated that I would be out of town for 4 days and needed the measurement done the day I returned. Again, I was assured the prompt and capable installer was right on top of the job. After another week of the same activities, I told the company to have an installer at my house the next day or the whole affair would go to the Better Business Bureau or small claims court. The assured me at this point that they were going to use an outside contractor, and that he would contact me that day.  Unbelievably, that day I received a call from the new installer and scheduled a measurement at 6:00 am the next day on his way to a job. A bit of an unbeliever at this point, I was amazed when the young man showed up at the appointed hour, measured and said he would arrive the next morning for installation. The scheduled installation happened when he promised and I was very happy with the result.

    During the course of the installation, I asked the young man what the "Rug King" was paying him for the job, He stated $2.50 a yard. I thought I was past being shocked with the Rug Kings business practices - I was wrong. The Rug King got the last laugh after all.
