    Her jaw was broken when the vet extracted a loose canine tooth. The vet offered no treatment or follow up for the injury.. The next day I took her to Gainesville to the veterinarian college for evaluation. X-rays were done and she was put in a soft muzzle she had to wear 24/7 for a few months...even while eating...and her diet was changed to soft food. She took meds for discomfort and I made several follow up trips during her treatment. At one point my husband and I met with the vet who did the extraction and asked what would he have done differently in retrospect. He said he would do nothing differently, which said volumes about his abilities. I discussed the cost his treatment had caused and he ignored the issue. The dental was approximately $300+. Treatment for the broken jaw was over $700. I fired them and have been extremely vocal about this clinic and the substandard treatment and follow up care for the injury they caused.

    He goes in regularly. Usually they go once a year I bring him in more often. The vets name is Dr.Edward Griffith. Very reasonable, very reasonable. If its an older pet he takes it very seriously if it gains weight. He kept me there 20 minutes because my pet Samual had gained weight and he was very depressed. He has taken care of my dog for years. Absolutely A's all the way down the line. He really goes out of his way. There have been situations that were urgent and I am so surprised. When a person is alone and all they have is their pets, he has really taken good care. I am very loyal, and he keeps me well.

    They weren't able to get urine from her to test. Thankfully they only charged me $40 because they weren't able to do so. I do really like them. I take all my dogs there. They're very caring about the animals you bring in.

    They are very good. They're always on time. They set the appointment and came a week before to test his blood and did all pre-op in a timely manner. This is a mobile vet, and when they came to do the surgery, he was prepped and out in a little less than an hour. They sent me pictures throughout the surgery. During this time he was given his vaccines and had his teeth cleaned.

    This is where we've brought our previous dogs over many, many years. The people there are friendly and understanding and sympathetic. We've put a number of animals down over the years. They generally send a sympathy card after you put your animal down, which is very nice. We put a lot of trust in him and we respect his opinion, so we don't think about going any place else. They get us in within 15 minutes of our appointment time.

    They are very animal-centered. They were very sympathetic and helpful. Putting an animal down is hard. It's a family member. My wife and I were both in tears, and I never cry. It was tough. He was very sympathetic and understanding, but not overly so. He wasn't dripping with sympathy, but he was very considerate and helpful and wrapped up the dog and we took him home and buried him in the backyard where he was used to running around.

    I have used Dr. Hill for over 15 years now and I have to honestly say he is amazing! He takes his time with you and you can see his love for animals. His staff as well have always been friendly, caring and helpful! Oh and not to mention his prices are VERY fair! MANY thumbs up !!!

    Our dog ingested part of a toy, which resulted in a bowel obstruction. They saw us immediately after arriving, performed a visual exam, took xrays, and reviewed the films with us in detail. After discussing our options and costs with us, we agreed he should stay overnight for observations. They showed us where he would be staying and allowed us to see him again once he had an IV and was settled in his kennel. The staff was kind and compassionate and called us twice more throughout the night to give us updates on his condition. When we picked him up the next morning to transport him to our regular vet, they faxed all paperwork over and our vet actually received everything a good 15-20 minutes before we arrived, allowing them ample time to prepare for our arrival and the remainder of our dog's treatment. Yes, it's expensive, but I expect this when it is for emergency overnight care. The facilities were clean and well run. Everyone we spoke with was incredibly kind and sensitive to our needs and those of our dog. I would not hesitate to return if we needed their services again.

    I recommend Dr. Griffith and his staff highly. My dog needed her teeth cleaned and the whole experience went well. The staff are pleasant and caring. I was informed ahead of time as to the estimated cost so there were no surprises at payment time. Dr Griffith took the time to explain Lucy's bone loss and recommended a product to slow down the process. I'm sure there are other places, where the waiting rooms are fancy, products are pushed, but for me I want someone who is thorough and has common sense when it comes to my dogs care. Lake Jesup is that place. They are busy so if you need to make an appointment, expect to wait a few days to a week, especially if you work 8 to 5, like me. But they do have Saturday hours.

    one pet, vet diagnosed heart troubles, put on meds, one is expensive.
    vet refused to cooperate with online Vet-VIPPS accredited pet pharmacy i was wanting to get refills from (half the vet's price).
    another pet, dental cleaning, $500 dollar total bill, was used to paying less than $150 at previous vet.
    i can't afford to use this vet.
