I am relatively new to the area and was looking for a local eye doctor to provide care. Scheduling a first appointment was prompt and easy, with convenient times. Staff were welcoming and friendly on arrival. Dr. McDonald was professional, pleasant and the eye exam was comprehensive. He spent time explaining things clearly. Office staff was wonderful overall, and also in regard to providing assistance in picking out new reading glasses. Glasses were ordered and delivered in a timely fashion. The wait times between arriving, the initial screen and physician exam were somewhat longer than expected based on prior experiences with other providers. Also,I wasn't expecting to have my eyes dilated, so a heads up on that before the appointment would have been helpful. But for those two areas, I would have rated an A overall.

My daughter and our son-in-law use this office for their vision needs.   I was able to get an appointment very quickly.  The office staff was efficient and professional with my paperwork.  I only waited a few minutes in the waiting room before being seen.  The doctor did increase my prescription and provided two samples of different strengths to try before buying. Although our previous doctor is only 40 minutes away, we will be returning to Dr. Hankins in the future as their office really meets  all of our needs. I would certainly recommend to others.

Trinity Eye associates are a good friendly place to get your glasses. They were trough in the exam and when I needed to exchange my prescription for another they didn't fuss. My downside was that I didn't feel they went over pricing and options. It was difficult to get them to tell me what every option was and if it was necessary. I felt like I choice the frames and they made all the other choices, which might have cost me money I didn't need to spend...I don't know, they didn't explain it well. If I go back, I'd really do more price comparison to make sure they aren't having me buy things I don't need.

The office staff were friemdly and knowledgeable.  My wife & I went for eye exams & glasses. The Dr. was VERY good and although its a little bit extra money. we had pictures taken of our eyes rather than dilation.  This also gets you out of the office quickly since you don't have to wait for your eyes to return to normal after the dilation.  Eye health was discussed with both of us and I learned things about my eye health that no other Optomitrist has ever discussed with me.  The glasses & frames were reasonable priced.  If you want great eye health info this is the place to go.

My husband and I have seen Dr. Weinman for two years now after moving to FL. My daughter previously saw him for a couple of years also when she lived in the area and that's how I came to know about him.
He is a very experienced Dr. I had bifocals that were only a year old and I felt I was not seeing well with them. He checked and found that they were way off. He performed my annual tests and gave me a new prescription. I had that filled by his office. Years ago my daughter had a similar experience with her contacts that had been prescribed in another state. She was thrilled with the results once she had a proper prescription.
I had the prescription filled at his office - he has a good selection of frames. I am covered by Vision Service Plan (VSP) which helps a lot. The lady who fits the eyeglasses is very, very knowledgeable and helpful. When my new bifocals came in she literally spent 1/2 hour with me ensuring I had a proper fit and teaching me on how to care for them so that they would last a long time. She even gave me a special cleaning solution for them.
The receptionist is the Dr.'s wife and she is a very sweet lady and very attentive to all patients.
The office is a little outdated in terms of furniture, etc. but I'll take great care over new furniture and less great care any day!
I highly recommend Dr. Weinman as an eyecare professional. Unfortunately there are so many cheap outfits out there that people are attracted by their low prices and get poor care. As the old adage goes 'you get what you pay for.' We only have one pair of eyes and I want only the best when it comes getting proper care for them.

Upon arrival, I needed to fill out new patient paperwork. After that, I waited about 5 minutes and was called into a room where a no-nonsense person confirmed info, entered it into their computer system and did preliminary tests. Waited there until the doctor came in. Dr. Ball-Thomas was knowledgeable and confident and pleasant. She did a thorough exam which I needed.
My eyes were dialated ... so plan on that if you're having a complete check up! After everything, I did purchase glasses there as well in their boutique. These are a little pricey for me, but I wanted to just get everything in one place for a change. Probably next year I will purchase glasses somewhere else. Office is very service oriented and they have beautiful frames.

When I arrive for my checkup, I do not have to wait long to see the Dr. He always explains what he is doing and why. If I'm getting new glasses, the office has a nice selection to choose from and they take the time to carefully fit the glasses.

He called when we first moved out here and I had to get a license, and he was the only one that could bring my vision up because I had bad vision through visual therapy. He doesn't do it anymore, but that's why we went with him to begin with.

I have a yearly eye checkup with him, so does my daughter and my husband. He is very concerned about our eyes. He is very easy going. He explains everything. If we have a problem, he likes to come back and talk to us about it. We see him once a year. He is very good. We recommend him all the time.

Based upon many years of care from Dr. Alice Sterling, I highly recommend her. She is not only extremely competent, but if you have an emergency, she will fit you into her schedule right away. A very caring and meticulous optometrist whom I highly recommend.
