I never had a problem but the parking lot is so stupid. It feels like you are taking your life in your hands to get in and out of there. We decided, why are we struggling with this when there was a pharmacy in the grocery store. There wasn't anything wrong with the product. It was just the parking lot. The only thing I don't like is they send you these 20% off coupons but you can't use them on anything.

In my opinion, United Healthcare offers the best insurance. I have United through my employer and they have always paid the claims without too many problems. My son lives a few counties away from me and the Dr called in the medicine and my son was able to pick it up with only a small co-pay.

The plan I have is a co insurance plan. I pay a significant amount each month for this plan. Since it is a co insurance plan I have to pay all costs until I reach my deductible, which I have never done. So despite having insurance I still pay all costs for any medical care I receive except yearly exams for my children and wife. This however is a result of the plan. I think for as much as we pay a month the coverage should be a lot better. In addition I have contacted blue cross several times with questions regarding potential health care costs and they are typically unsure about what is or is not covered and what the costs to me would be.

Most horrible hospital experience ever. I was suffering from preeclampsia and was brought quickly in by the wonderful nurses and staff at the lower level. I loved the care and patience of the staff before having my c section.... Afterwards was an entirely different story. My son was born 4 weeks early and was sent to the nicu for a few hrs after being born. I specifically said and wrote that I would be breastfeeding and not to give him formula. Against my wishes my sons first meal was formula at the nicu. From there it went from bad to worse. It was my first ever surgery and I was not prepared for the lack of care the nurses provided during my after care. Numerous times I would be writhing in pain because, even though I was right next to the nurses station, my calls were not answered all the time and many times my medication was late. My son was under lights for jaundice and I was unable to reach him or to pick him up when he screamed. I was alone the first night with him in the room (I stupidly sent my family home that night to rest-worst mistake ever!) I had to beg and plead with the nurses to come in and hand me my child for him to be comforted or eat. I was in so much pain and wasn't properly explained or pushed to get out of bed and what happens when you wait too long. I couldn't physically get up and many times both my son and I were left alone to suffer. He kept pulling at his goggles and there was nothing I could do to protect him from the bright lights. Every single time my pain medication would wear off it would take up to an hr to have the nurses come for my scheduled refill. Only at the end of day 2 did we finally get a lactation nurse to see me, by that time my milk was not coming in and I was desperate for my son to eat. I was encouraged by the staff there to supplement him with formula and not to worry. My milk was slow coming in and my son never learned to latch properly or was even wanting to since he was so full by the formula that was pushed onto me by the staff. It took half a day between the time I had been released till someone would come with a wheel chair to let me go home. By the time someone did come we were already into another feeding and we had to force them to wait and not leave so I could finally take my baby home. We were sent home with a ton of free formula but no information or help on breastfeeding. I lost precious days there not knowing how to properly feed my son. The milk never came in and my son had all kinds of allergies and problems with formula. I blame the staff for cheating my son and I of the experience and healthy norm of breastfeeding. Worst of all there was one horrible night when my husband and I were having a bad fight. I called in the nurse asking for help. I told her that I thought I was having some very bad post partum symptoms and would she please call a doctor. Instead of doing what I asked, she just tried to comfort me that my husband will come back. That was not my issue. I was afraid I was unable to take care of my son with my current mental status. I was all just shrugged off and I was left alone to suffer without treatment. Also one of the nurses ripped off my skin when she clumsily was changing a bandage. I still have the scar over a year later. My advice is choose another hospital to have your baby in.

Pretty good with medical claims. Horrible with prescriptions. I was trapped in a maze of denials for coverage for a prescription their pre-approval dept. had approved and their prescription department would not fill. Was like something out of a Roger Moore movie. They obviously did not want to pay for an expensive medication. Rating below is only for prescription department.

Good service so far, competent and friendly customer service reps, no problems with claims, only one medical test deems unnecessary, all prescriptions need prior authorization approved and filled with no problems.
