    KAIN Contracting
On time and on budget. And they showed up every day. The only time there was not a crew on site was due to materials I had ordered. Entire crew was polite and professional. Never a problem. Based on our experience, we would recommend this company for small remodels/repairs, kitchen/bathroom remodeling and whole house makeovers. We took a long time to find a company this reliable. We will use them again... definitely.

    Allen Masonry & General Contractor
He was punctual, clean, and professional.  The work was excellent especially the concrete work.  His crew matched an existing stucco without any flaws and it is impossible to tell the old from the new. The work included framing, drywall, and crown molding,

We could not be happier with the work of Kip House. His quote was reasonable and well detailed. He estimated the project taking four weeks and it was completed exactly in four weeks.  This even included a few additional changes such as framing a window, moving power outlets and adding additional backsplash. We have used several contractors in the past and he is by far the most patient and politest person we have ever worked with. Additionally, we was extremely clean though out the project and swept up each day before he left.
The work he performed was everything we had expected and I truly believe there is not a better contractor in Tampa bay. Our kitchen looks amazing and we will definitely be using him again in a few months to completely renovate our guest and master bathrooms.

The trifecta of a prototypical "bad contractor".  Poor quality of work, massive cost overruns and untrustworthy.  The worst quality of work I've seen for a $440,000 major remodel.  Literally not one of the major projects was done to satisfaction.  For example, the gate sometimes does not open.  The mailbox embedded into the wall was incorrectly sized and they filled it in with some white caulk type substance to hide the large gap.  They painted damaged wood doors without first making the repairs and then painting it.  Who paints first and then say they will fix it and re-paint it over it later?  Heck, even when they did my roof, they improperly covered the work during the multi-day process which resulted in it actually raining in my house from a storm overnight.  Obviously, there was a massive pattern of not caring about the quality of their work.  Lastly, they kept on reassuring me that they were going to fix things to my satisfaction and did not.  Constant lies and massive cost overruns of over 150% on specific line items.  DO NOT USE.  You have been warned.

Several of the tasks were done incorrectly such as windows were put in backwards, pool timer was installed too close to junction box so it could not close and multiple electrical problems.  Scott of SLT, the owner, did not respond to over a dozen calls to correct an electrical problem, nor did he respond to emails.  There would have been even more issues had I not been someone who worked from home.  I caught errors before they were completed at least 3 times.

    M/I HOMES- Tampa
Overall, we were satisfied with the experience of buying a new house. This was my first time to buy a newly built house, and most of the specifications/options were already decided on the home since the construction was already in progress. We were persistent in pushing up the closing date to meet our personal circumstances and M/I was responsive in meeting out needs. The owner of M/I met us at closing to ensure we were satisfied with the experience. The sales and construction supervisory team at our location have been easy to work with and have been dedicated to resolving any issues that pop up. Time will tell if the assurances to follow up through the first year of warranty and the overall quality of the home will hold up to expectations. So far, so good!

Waterford is building our home now. I am sure I will have even better things to say once the house is finished.
