    Omar and Hiram stopped by and took care of the trickiest P-trap in the history of kitchens. The fix was ultimately snaking the line to find what was causing the sink to stop draining but, quickly became complicated due to a custom p-trap installation that was put in, during the mid 80s.

    It turned out that my shower hose was extra long and required opening up tile to install. The plumber was very helpful in walking me through the process and helping me purchase the required equipment. They came back as soon as the parts came in and did a great job installing it.

    In late November, 2016, I contracted Roger at ���The Gove Handyman��� on Angie���s List to have a bathroom wall repaired following a leak in the pipes. I was quoted a good price and the appointment was arranged. The property is a unit I was preparing to rent and I was out of town, so a friend let the workers in. They were instructed to call him so he could view the work before they left. The worker called me and said the work was done. He sent me a picture after he left and after he returned the keys. He took the bathroom hardware off the wall for the repair and failed to put it back on. I contacted Roger and he informed me that the pipe for the faucet was too short. I don���t know why the worker would tell me ���it���s all done,��� when it obviously wasn���t. Roger said he would have to send someone else out on another day and he would have to charge me a callout fee ��� to complete the work his staff failed to finish. As I had a tenant moving in the next week, I had no choice. On the second appointment, a different worker said ���it���s all done,��� but he is the one person in North America with a cell phone that doesn���t take photos. Roger���s tone via text message after both visits was not an example of excellent customer service. He did not offer any assurance that everything was as it should be or apologize that his staff failed to complete the work properly the first time. In April, 2017, my tenant contacted the property manager to inform him that the faucet had become completely detached from the wall and pipe. The property manager left a voicemail for Roger, but he never called back. I called the next day and my call went to voicemail as well. The greeting stated that Roger would be out of town from the following day. Unfortunately, before he went out of town, he never returned my or the property manager���s call. We had to hire another contractor to fix the inadequate work done by the Grove Handyman staff. I emailed Roger and explained the situation and provided him with a copy of the charges incurred to fix the faucet again as well as a photo. Roger refused to compensate me because he thought the charge of $260 was too high and because he didn���t see it himself. This entire situation has been completely unacceptable. The original job was not completed. I was charged additional fees to complete the job on a second visit. The work performed was not done correctly and only lasted 4 months. And I was not compensated or refunded for having to hire another company. I strongly advise against hiring ���The Grove Handyman��� for any work. The company is a typical South Florida contractor that does shoddy work, doesn���t communicate properly and doesn���t stand behind their work.

    The professional was unqualified and spent two hours after which he concluded that the only solution was to tear out the entire fixture and replace with a new $300 fixture, plus $200+ of labor and to do the work he would need to break a number of the shower tiles. We told him we thought just the cartridge needed to be replaced. He told us we were wrong and overbearing, leaving without the problem being fixed. The next day we drove ourselves to a distribution center of the faucet manufacture, bought a new cartridge for $22 and installed it ourselves within 15min. This simple solution fixed the leak. The plumber was either not qualified or trying to rip us off.

    I have hired Michael on and off for 19 years. He is excellent. He can fix almost anything and come up with solutions to oddball problems. He works differently than most people. He will not give you an estimate. He just shows up for work on time and he will blast through a big to do list very fast and efficiently. He is not cheap but fair priced and no drama.

    Not well. ?I am a single female and feel he didn't handle this service professionally. ?Instead of taking a few minutes to go down the street 1.3 miles to a local hardware store to pick up the needed materials, he took four hours to come back with the materials and he charged me $85/hour for these four hours. ?When he came back he was very rushed, saying he had to hurry to get to another job. ?When I asked the plumber which plumbing place he drove to for four hours, he mumbled some names but really couldn't tell me. After the shower faucet repairs the hot and cold temperature is now very touchy and hard to control. ?The plumber was very kind when he left and promised to come back and finish work on my kitchen sink, so I paid him the full amount. ?He charged me for 5 hours, 4 of which were travel. He took a sink part with him I assume to help him with a repair when he returned. ?However he never came back. ?I called him the following week and he said there was nothing more he needed to do. ?I do not recommend others use their service. I attempted to call him a few times and he keeps telling me that he finished the work.

    Peter and Yailen are a husband and wife team who are professional and a pleasure to work with. They are responsive to calls and texts, show up on time and do excellent work. They are also great diagnosticians. I needed the repairs done relatively quickly and they made every effort to accommodate my schedule. It gives me peace of mind, especially in South Florida where there are so many unreliable and shady service providers, to know that Peter and Yailen will be there for me if I need them.

    Recently a leak from the toilet area was reported by my downstairs neighbor. A different plumber identified that the 2012 wax seal had been installed incorrectly and it had collapsed. All I had noticed at the time of installation was that the grouting was not good.
