    I first reviewed this company in 2011. Gave them an A. It's 2018 and I am still using At Home but Not Alone. I am very happy with care provided. As long as I have pets, I will call Kim and staff. well worth the peace of mind.

    Dog Days Grooming
    Never heard from Angie's List or the groomer. No one ever contacted me. But, I already got my dogs groomed by a mobile groomer in my area on my own. I am not to impressed with Your Angie's List Service.

    They were very willing to do anything they could to help my bird.  They communicated with us and followed up with us. They were very concerned and compassionate.  Their price was very low for their services.  I would rate them a five star.  I was very satisfied with them.

    Englewood Animal Hospital
    Dr Lazarus is the saving grace of this veterinary staff. He has been caring, compassionate, honest, thorough, and professional. We have been through 5-6 others in search of a vet. with these traits in hopes of helping our cats' injured foot. (result of an error made by another vet.) Others simply passed it on as "an old cat" (16 years old) or sure let's remove a couple of toes. With Dr. Lazarus we have found someone who cares for the animal as well as "it's people".
    We will continue to take all 6 of our animals to him for great care!

    We were out of town for 3 days and 2 nights. We needed someone to stay with our animals, especially the dogs at night. When we arrived home everything was clean and the animals were in excellent shape. I felt very secure leaving our animals in their care and plan to use them again in the near future.

    Our Chi, Ginger, was acting as though she was in severe pain. We called the Englewood Animal Hospital on recommendation. The receptionist told us that there was no appointment available until the next day. When I insisted Ginger needed an evaluation the receptionist said to come in at 1:45 PM, there would be time to see Ginger. We arrived at the "appointment" time; we signed in and since the waiting room had large dogs in it and Ginger is not dog friendly, the receptionist suggested we wait outside and she would call us when our time came. A vet tech came out to get us!. We waited for almost 45 minutes. I feel this was appropriate as we were essentially a "walk in" and the waiting room was filled to capacity when we arrived. Apparently, this office has a few vets; I can't imagine that one vet or even two could see that many animals in that short a time.

    The vet we saw was very gentile. She took a thorough medical history. Our Chi has a chronic neck problem and inflammatory bowel disease. She took this into account when manipulating her neck, abdomen and lower back and prescribing mediation. She diagnosed muscle spasms in Ginger's lumbar spine. Said she would prescribe muscle relaxants and anti-inflammatory medication. She described the possible prognosis and told us to observe Ginger for any further deterioration and see them in 10 days if not improved, or set an appointment for 14 days if all was ok. The vet did not rush us and made sure we understood her diagnosis and recommendations. We were finished with evaluation and billing by 3:15..

    After the evaluation we went to the reception desk. The reception and billing desk was very busy. They have three persons handling all the office matters. After several minutes (I don't know how long) I received the bill for services and medication. I also got the medications at this desk. What a pleasant surprise! The bill for services and medications was much less than I could have imagined. This office makes owning a pet a lot less expensive than where I came from. (Long Island, NY). I will definitely be returning to this office for Ginger's other vet visits.

    Kim contacted me within a day of request for info; she emailed costs and other info; Kelly, our sitter, contacted me and we scheduled a meeting. After discussing my cats and their habits, etc, she gave some info on her background and reviewed the services that will be provided, including bringing in mail and papers, checking house and doors. She even agreed to put up last hurricane panel over pet door, if necessary. She left a detailed account of each visit. The phone call by Kim and meeting Kelly put us at ease and we felt confident and comfortable with their service. Would definitely use again.
