    They came out and did service. Did not do everything their website said they would do. Had a broken lock on the accordion shutter and they did a questionable replacement of the lock. Does not seem securely installed and does not stay locked. They have never been able to give us any specs on their own shutters. Don't know how that is possible. They supposedly built them. Called them on Sept 5th because we had a roll shutter we could no longer open and some of the accordion pieces had slid down out of the top track. Unfortunately we had Hurricane Irma coming through the following weekend and they said they could not get to us before then but would call us later to schedule service date. Never heard back and called them again on 10/2/17. Spoke with Rosette and found out they had never opened a ticket in September. She opened a ticket and indicated someone would get back with me in a couple of days to get me scheduled. Again did not hear back. Called again today, 10/6, and again spoke with Rosette. She can not give me any time frame for when they can get to me. Already scheduled through the end of October and apparently can't schedule past that point.

    We are extremely fortunate to have been a Boardwalk Real Property Management, Inc (BRPMI) client since 2006 when our house was first built. From day one Boardwalk has treated us like ?family? and we have enjoyed a great relationship with all of their staff. Boardwalk knows our property, responds immediately to any requests, is professional and attentive. Over the ten-year partnership we have had only two principal property managers. This stability provides assurance that our Boardwalk manager knows our property and knows us. Boardwalk has given us advice about rental fees and property upgrades. Because of the great relationship, we have given Boardwalk permission to authorize any minor repairs without need for our concurrence. They have skilled tradespeople who complete any necessary repairs quickly and at reasonable rates.

    We are absentee landlords who live out of state. We have visited Boardwalk and the property only twice in the ten years of ownership. Our monthly fee to Boardwalk is worth every penny. Monthly statements and tax forms are detailed and sent promptly. Since 2006 we have had constant tenancy despite having tenants who have been served papers to work overseas in the military. Each year we receive a detailed property report for a nominal fee. This report is then used as a guideline for any recommended renovations.

    Think about it. What does an out-of-state landlord want? Our fantasy would be to have a company like Boardwalk who looks after our property like their own, maintains constant tenancy (to pay the bills), provides updates on the property, offers advice, is professional and timely in their accounting, and does all of this for a reasonable fee. Boardwalk does all of this but sets itself apart by making us feel like ?family.? We?ve been dealing with the same people since 2006. We recently needed to make some repairs. We spoke to Stephen Foster (the owner), Caleb Lee (our property manager) and Shannon McLaughlin (head of accounting). Each knew the property, gave advice and assurance, and acted as though we were their number one priority. There is no listening to music, a real person answers the phone, and they know you. We started out by meeting Elaine in 2006, before our house was built, and Elaine is still there for us. ?Five Stars? is not enough to truly set this company apart.

    I had the work performed in two stages: 1) hurricane impact windows and doors installed August 2013 and 2) the rest October 7 to November 25, 2013, completed 1 week earlier than estimated. There wasn't a day that some work wasn't in progress, and I'm very happy with the outcome. Rob kept me informed of scheduled work and progress, so I was well informed.

    Note:  I moved out during the second phase of remodel because I couldn't live there with almost every room being touched, plus open doors and gates and my greyhound are a disaster waiting to happen.

    The movers were told to use caution in packing the plasma & LED TV's so as not to damage them. I was told that they would be wrapped before packaging and that they would be kept in an upright position. When I came in the room they had the TV lying face down and were trying to push it into a box. I told them to stop and that I would take care of the TV's myself. Then I went to the dining room and they had my antique table lying on the floor and were in the process of taking one of the four legs off. I told them to stop and that the table had to be put in the truck with the legs on. They attempted to put the leg on but a piece had broken off. They moved the table to the garage and laid it upside down on a cover. On the move-in day another truck came and picked up the table and when they delivered it to the condo they "glued" it back together. When the matching sideboard was brought in there was a crack going up the leg which they documented. One of my floor fans came off the truck with t.

    We dropped our television off at his shop for an evaluation. When he found the problem, he gave us a call with an estimate. We were pleased with the service and price...our television was up and running for Super Bowl. Highly recommend his service!

    I needed special attention to the design that would allow for drainage of the sliding glass door tracks. The condominium floor is level with the patio deck which can allow for water intrusion during heavy rain storms. (Note: The building codes were later revised to require a step-down to the patio deck.)  The shutter provider's design was using backplate on the shutter guide track to reduce splash under the closed shutters. This height has a drawback since the back plate can be a tripping hazard. So, the lower guide track was installed in a manner so the complete track can be removed except for about 8 inches at each end which provides for the storage of the collapsed shutter sections. The major length of the tracks can be removed and stored as need be.
    On initial installation, it is important that all dust/debris be removed from the screw holes/recesses that will secure the shutter track to the patio deck.
    I estimate that a track section can be removed or replaced in well less than 15 minutes. The tool required will be a screw driver, preferably a power screwdriver, with a #3 Phillips head.  After removing the track, the same large-head screws will be used to closeout the holes to prevent dirt, etc., from entering. The screw head thickness is about 1/8" high.
    I found the owner, Franz, as an affable person. He is willing to work with you and provide you with a top notch installation.

    Off to a slow start but after that went very well. And it was hurricane season.  Shutters had to be lifted up the side of the building to the 7th floor...done very well
    shutters went in well and very professional;  old shutters were removed and carried downstairs to the garage as a favor
    the crew was excellent--very careful --well organized---cleaned up after themselves
    very pleased....a beautiful product and excellent installation
    owner mike was very repsonsive to all calls and concerns

    My experience went great i had new kitchen cabinets installed new counter tops, I had the interior of the home painted some molding replaced some electrical work done. I had stucco replaced on the rear of the home, and a ton of yard work done

    We signed a contract in April to install a new front door, security-screen door, Bahama shutters, and a glassed-in porch. 
     1.       Front Door ? Several weeks after signing the contract, Larry Rhodes called and said that the wrong front door arrived, and he would have to re-order.  Two weeks later the second door arrived, and he came to install it.   When they opened the crate, the door was unfinished, not the finished door we ordered.  We asked to see the hardware we ordered, we were told that there was no hardware, and we would have to supply that ourselves.  The door was installed but the installers left it unpainted and unfinished.  We eventually had to have the door painted and the installation completed at our own expense by someone else.  2.       Security-screen door ? The security-screen door arrived, but to our surprise, the door had no security-screen.  Just bars that a child could squeeze through, which was not what we ordered.  Having learned from our experience with the front door, we refused installation.
     3.       Bahama shutters  - The shutters came and were installed.  They were installed at slightly different levels on the wall, and several would not properly close.  Again, we had to hire someone else to finish the job properly.
     4.       Glassed-in porch ? After waiting three months, the glass for the porch finally arrived.  In the meantime, the aluminum framing was originally mis-measured, and we were told that one window would be considerably larger than the others.  After complaining loudly (nothing got done if we did not complain loudly) the aluminum framing was re-installed.  The windows were installed, and either over caulked or not caulked at all, and leaked at the next rain. The screw covers and track covers for the windows were not installed and we were told ?that?s the way it?s done.?  The windows and the worksite were left dirty, and cigarette butts littered the back yard.  I had to raise my voice on the phone to get Larry to even look at what had been done (and not done) because he kept telling me that everything was in order and he didn?t need to inspect the work.  After several phone calls, Larry finally returned with his crew and actually finished the job four months after our deposit.  Oh yes, we had to hire someone else (at our expense) to finally fix the leak on the porch.  
    Our experience was expensive and singularly unpleasant.  If you are looking to pay a premium price for a frustrating experience, Brevard Aluminum Construction Company should be your first choice.

    I got two one-sided banners that were as designed but were half as long and half as high as promised. The banners lacked grommets for hanging; I was charged extra for inconvenient little plasic tags that quickly came unstuck. Unlike everybody else in the sign business, HyMark does not hang banners. On top of the $98 for the banner and little tags I spent $34 and two hours to hang the unblessed thing. Bad experience all around. Stay away from that one.
