AWell Dressed WindowsWe were looking for shutters for windows in three upstairs rooms and knew that we needed help in both selection and installation. Based on reviews in Angie's List, we called Well Dressed Windows which was also recommended by one of the companies from whom we could have ordered on-line. Jeff and Jane were willing to come some distance out of their normal work area to view our home and provide their professional guidance. Jeff arrived promptly as scheduled for the initial visit and was prepared to show us samples and explain the benefits and/or drawbacks of certain window treatments for our windows. We ultimately decided against shutters based on Jeff's advice and selected shades that are more appropriate for the particular rooms in question. Jeff also made suggestions and measured for shades for our front porch and provided recommendations for other rooms that we intend to do in the future. Jeff made every effort to economize where possible and was amenable to our schedule for set up of the final installation. As noted above, the installers were very professional and we are totally pleased with the product and the overall effect. We will definitely call upon Well Dressed Windows for our future needs.- Laurie H.

AISLAND COAST INTERIORSAmy Krye is the owner and designer of the company. Her first consultation was asking a variety of questions of my desires and likes. She took a sample of my pillows, arm chair cover and a pillow sham. She chose three fabric choices for each room based on color, style and price. Upon making my decision, she created the window treatments. This company is far superior than other companies within my area. Her follow up is to assure customer satisfaction along with assuring the treatments are well displayed. Two employees installed the window treatments. Amy used a steamer for a crisp look and make sure every detail was in place. She truly kept everything in perspective with price, style and overall look. I appreciate her talents of bringing everything together for a very complimentary look. Unfortunately, I do not recall the price. She is priced very reasonably.- BRENDA S.

FThe Blinds ManI gave them the measurements of the drapery panels and the 3 pillows. They gave me a quote for the work order and the yardage needed for the work order. I supplied them with the fabric - as their quote for the same fabric was substantially higher than other suppliers. They had all fabric in house and we had a written work order on August 7th. They told me the order would be ready for pick-up on August 27th. That date arrived and I was told next week - next week arrived and I was told next week. On Friday of that week, September 6th., I was told the order will definitely be ready for pick-up on Tuesday, September, 10th. On Tuesday, September 10th., I received an email from Blinds Man telling me they needed 3 more yards of fabric to do the drapery panels. I went into the store to discuss the problem. Not one single item of the work order was completed.....only two linings for the drapery panels had even been cut. It was very obvious to me this was a very poorly managed business. I left with all of my fabric - took it down the street to a very helpful business who gave me a completion date that I am confident will be honored. P.S. They told me I DID NOT need 3 more yards of fabric to do the order.- Larry F.

FWe purchased family room horizontal curtains from Budget Blinds less than 4 years ago and had trouble with the guides breaking so that the curtain could not close. We purchased the window coverings with a exclusive 5 year no questions asked unconditional warranty. We called their office and asked to have the broken pieces replaced-which was a simple replacement part fix. Instead, the owner Jody ordered the incorrect parts then sent their repair guys out to fix it. They took one look and said she ordered the wrong parts, they called and told her about the mistake then took photos of the part needed to show her what to order. To shorten this long story-which runs from October 2019-March 2020, Jody couldn't figure out how to order the part, did not look at the photos but instead blamed her consistent errors on the manufacturer and anyone else in the way. We continued to request the curtain to be fixed but she got defensive, nasty and refused to talk with us- the customer. We got in touch with the manufacturer, in Jacksonville, Fl. and they sent the correct parts to BB.The manufacturer representative came up from Orlando picked up the correct parts from BB and finally fixed it. BB had the parts but they refused to come out and fix the problem. When the rep went to BB in Gainesville, they, BB, refused to talk with him or give him directions to our house. In short. we will never do business with this franchised business again and would never recommend them to anyone needing expensive window treatments.

FIf I could give zero stars, I would. First, it was taking forever to get my order. When I looked at my order, they somehow had the wrong address (my former address from five years ago), so I contacted them to change the address. They assured me that the address was changed. A couple of weeks later, I was notified via email that my order was delivered but when I checked my front door it wasn't there, so I went to my old address, 30 minutes away and got lucky that the owner was there and had received my order. When I got it home the 3 roller shades that I ordered for side-by-side windows were all 4 inches too big. I followed the online measurement directions which suggested that you add 2 inches per side to your measurements for an outside mount. I should have stayed with my original measurements. When I called, they suggested that I keep an inch on each side. They re-made them, and AGAIN sent them to the wrong address - even after I re-confirmed that they had the right one. Again, I had to go to my old address to look for my delivery. This time, no one was home, so I took a chance and waited in front of their house for a while until someone may come home. Luckily, someone showed up within 90 minutes. This time they had showed up with 2 boxes! They re-made it twice (6 roller shades), all still too big! Due to the global pandemic and for personal reasons, I waited to address the issue. When I finally was able to contact them, I was sent a message that the CSR's supervisor determined that the blinds were made correctly. Therefore, they cannot offer a remake for this order. Their policy states that they will make up to 4 shades if the customer is not completely happy. However, they offered to remake the shades at a discounted price! I will not give them one more penny! Worst service ever! A $500.00 lesson learned - They stole my money and left me with 9 useless roller shades to get rid of. I do not recommend them!

DOnce Mr Lionel Thomas is the home inspector your in great hands !!! He’s a straight shooter 1000% !!!! If Lionel recommend checking for termites and basil send you someone get the report insist on seeing it before your closing!!! Any other recommendations from basil will be unprofessional don’t make the same mistake I did please !!!! Just to name a few $17,500 Cash complimentary food ,my payed Materials all gone and ..... if your looking for all your brand new items in your home painted up ,cement and full of dust not to forget on finish paint job in EVERY ROOM, new Windows with paint all over the outside, I was told by him and him team everything is finish ,after driving 14 hours clean and mop my dad room to give your 80 year old dad a bath to find out there’s very little water coming out his bath by then where coughing from the bleach , there’s not enough water to wash out the shower, went to second bathroom same problem but a little more on the bottom . Theses are brand new showers ! water leaking under the sink and they put a T-shirt under after 3 months 3 weeks don’t take any advice from basil. His intention I think is good buy at the end of the day I’m paying for a service not empty words and unprofessional work ! He’s a smooth talker that will cost you stress and more money in the end !

DOne of the bi-fold doors that was repaired fell off the first time I pulled on it, the ceiling fan is hung crooked, the door bell chime was mounted crooked, he did not install the deadbolt on the door that I wanted it on, he replaced a quality deadbolt that worked fine with a cheap deadbolt that I did not ask to have replaced requiring separate key, he installed weatherstripping on an outside door that prevented the door from latching and installed a hook and eye latch to hold the door closed. I though that most all of the work was "rigged".

FWorst experience ever. I have wanted plantation shutters my whole life and we are 22 weeks into a disaster of a project. I can't even stand to look at them there are so many problems glaring back at me. If you get sold on the line that John Lilly is "OCD, extremely detail orientated and loves this work" don't be fooled. The work is anything but that. John has been out at least 4 times to fix issues and there are countless more problems. We will no longer let him back in our home because he was incompetent from the start and is unable to make it right. Even if he gives me my money back, I will have to completely start over but now my paint and drywall will be torn off my walls from where his "work" had to be undone. This man could absolutely care less about doing a good job. He will throw your shutters up and walk out the door, not looking back or caring what they look like. So completely disgusted with this company.
