    Service call put in on 12/8, showed up on 12/22, as of 1/29 has not turned in repair report to Warranty Company. So going on 2 months with no microwave because of no report. Would never recommend or use again.

    This is just to follow up on previous review which was dated wrong 11/10/2016(please see review)...should have been 1/09/2018. As promised Jon hand delivered our refund check today 1/18/2018. I can't say enough that Jon (owner) at Appliance Geek is Awesome! He is a true tradesman with knowledge,honesty,and professionalism. If you need any appliance repaired..look no further...he is your man.

    This is the worst experience I've ever received from a company. I have an extended warranty and they were too busy to help me with the claim that they were hired to do. I was left without a working machine for 3 weeks while they were "short-handed" and taking care of other customers. When I asked for a cell phone number to speak with the service manager, Erwin he made sure to tell his office staff not to give out his cell number. I had a lot of issues with the misdiagnosis his technician gave to my warranty company and now they will not repair my machine. When I finally did speak with Erwin he refused to give me a refund of my service call fee. There were many days I would call the office and no one would answer the phone. There are so many issues with this company I can't even begin to list them all here but I can honestly say STAY AWAY, RUN!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!

    Jon analyzed the problem very quickly and accurately, then gave me a price for for the needed part and installation. He worked fast and accurately and installed the new switches in 30 minutes. He also analyzed my freezer as it was not making ice. He analyzed the problem and was able to fix it without any new parts. I was very happy with the quick service, expert analysis, and cost. I will definitely use Jon again.

    He was very knowledgeable. The service was quick- he is coming back tomorrow to replace a part that he has to wait for it to come in. He came out right away to repair the refrigerator. I had contacted 6 companies and he was the only one who was able to come out immediately.

    Fine - added to my aggrevation was I might have been able to solve one of the problems myself (so mad at myself more than them) and they were here for such a short period of time. The other appliance I stated that I needed to know if it was repairable or if I had to replace it. They said they could replace the part needed, but I really was hoping to find out if it is was worth it to do so, or if I should just replace it. But I did not get that answer more due to a language barrier.

    Contacted the vendor by phone, described the problem. They initially could not send a tech out that day but when I said I would check with another company they changed their minds and said they could do it. Two tech's came out within the window of time promised one could not speak English (my language) and the other could speak "broken" English. They conversed together and with their office soly in Spanish leaving me out of the proverbial loop. After they inspected the refrigerator they advised me that I would need a new condenser at a cost of over $600. They also mentioned that I could buy a used refrigerator from them at the same cost. I told them I would think about it, paid them an $85 fee and asked for a receipt. They advised that it was impossible for them to give me a written receipt, then they left. I contacted another appliance repair service in town and they came out and did a more comprehensive inspection of my refrigerator. They advised that the problem was not with the condenser but with a leak in the lines.

    Jon came out the same day I called. He diagnosed the problem, ordered the part and came back 2 days later to fix it. He replaced the rear bearing. A few weeks later, the dryer was making noise again. Jon came back out and had to replace a different part. He had quoted me $85, but only charged me $32 for the price of the part. He arrived on time and did the job as promised. I have already recommended Appliance Geek to a neighbor. I choose to support small business owners like Appliance Geek because I feel they care more about their customers. Point proven.

    Everything was great! Stephen came out and diagnosed the dishwasher as dead and recommended a new one. After it was purchased and delivered, he came back out and installed the new dishwasher and hauled the old one away. He also fixed an issue with the fridge and changed out our washer hoses. A++ would hire again
