    Capps Roofing
Blake Capps runs a topnotch operation. Everybody I dealt with was professional and helpful, and the new roof looks great. Blake has a calm, problem-solving approach, and I like how he took care of ALL my needs, compared to other roofers who would only quote part of the job, expecting me to separately arrange for new gutters and other repairs. If you're looking for a one-stop solution to your roofing problems, Capps is the way to go. All my neighbors were impressed, too - this is a 25-year-old community where everybody has been replacing their roofs in recent years, so we all compare notes with each other, and even my most nitpicking neighbors couldn't find any flaws in the work Capps did.

    Villa's Construction & Remodeling Inc
It went Amazing! Since the moment I met John, owner of the company. I felt very comfortable with him! He was very honest, knowledgeable , and very creative in helping me with my design of my kitchen and wall unit! Him and his employees wher complete professionals throughout the whole project . My house looks beautiful!!! Me and my family are completely thrilled with all the work Villas construction did for us. I've had lots of work done in other property's I've owned throughout the years, but let me say that John and his crew set the bar very high! Another level of service ! He wasn't the cheapest option but worth every dollar extra! The quality of all the work from cabinets to floors or mill work is amazing, their attention to detail is perfect! Overall I LOVE MY HOME! Thank you Villas construction pros!

Global Construction & Development Corp. (GCDC)
The entire job was from a water damage incident , we were devastated , Global came in and with their water damage professional and extracted all the standing water , then they had an independent assessor check for mold which was good since they found some behind the water damaged cabinets and the remediation was performed, they came back when they said they would and replaced all he drywall and re did my cabinets and all additional work
     These guys are fantastic

    Elite Roofing
As there are already a large number of great reviewsposted, I will restrict my comments to a some ?essential? observations:
This roofer had provided me with prompt, courteousattention in prior years when I needed roof repairs. I felt he was honest, trustworthy and reasonable. I solicited a few quotes when it came time toreplace my entire roof, and he was the least cost provider.
His proposal was well-prepared and documented, and heprovided pictures and explanations of how his work progresses. He providedinsurance and license information from the get-go, clearly a sign of aprofessional. When we wanted sample roof tiles, they were promptly shipped tous ? very helpful to see the real thing.
We had a rainy winter, and I needed to obtain associationapprovals and county permits, so the actual roof demolition and replacement wasdelayed significantly. I had leaks and requested Elite to make temporaryrepairs to mitigate continual damage pending installation of the new roof. Iwas disappointed that it took Elite a long time to accommodate my request, andwhen they finally sent someone to provide a temporary patch, it failed. Iunderstood the probability of locating the point of the existing leak was notgood, so I gave them a ?pass? on this ? and really, it was my onlydisappointment during the whole process of getting my roof replaced.
In hindsight, the quotation I received from Elite was abit misleading because although it clearly stated that the price did notinclude re-installation of my gutters and having to patch stucco that would bedamaged by installing new roof flashing, I simply didn?t give this enoughweight. These additional jobs added about $2,000 to the price. ?Softening? thisblow somewhat was that Elite provided a reference to a painter that did anoutstanding job patching the stucco, so much so, that I ended up having himpaint my whole house and repair two ceilings damaged by water leaks ? this turnedout to be an unexpected benefit, sent to me courtesy of Elite. The other potential costs (disclosed in the contract), are additional costs (beyond a small minimum that is included in the price) for damaged plywood and eave lumber -- this added several hundred dollars to the cost, but here I cannot fault anyone as there is no way to determine the extent of hidden damage -- frankly, with a job of this size I would much rather err toward replacing a questionable or clearly bad piece of lumber for a few more dollars than to ignore it and risk having the profile of the roof look awful down the road.
George, the owner is an outstanding communicator andbusinessman. He never failed to return my phone calls or emails, promptlyanswering questions or concerns. He has a great backup person in his office whodoes the same thing. This is a business who makes ?customer service? a numberone priority ? I?ve done business with a lot of home improvement contractors, but these people are head and shoulders above every one of them in terms of customercontact.
Bottom line: Theroof looks beautiful, and I am confident that it will provide a goodwater-tight barrier for many years (there is a 5 year warranty). Our neighborshave been very complimentary of the appearance of the new roof. Overall, Ithink Elite did an excellent job, and although the crew was a tad messy on occasion(yes, roof work is a messy proposition) everything was taken care of when theywrapped up the job. Once they got started the job got was quickly completed. Ihighly recommend this company to all homeowners.

    Rosenbaum Construction

I hired Gary to remodel an apartment. The next time I am remodeling anything I hope Gary is available as I like having him work for me. He is not a big company but I feel he is honest and does a good job. It is evident he knows what he is doing. And I feel he does not charge too much.

    Arta Construction
After being very impressed with the reviews on Angie's List, I decided to hire Andy, of Arta Construction to renovate a
co-op apartment in New York that I purchased in the 1980's.  This was all done unsupervised by me as I live in Florida and this was a vacant apartment that is used as a rental.
Andy took me through the whole demolition process with daily pictures
that he sent me.  I chose cabinets, floor and wall tile, plumbing fixtures etc from pics that were sent to me.  He kept me updated daily with pics of the work he completed.  He made suggestions that I did not think of which further enhanced the job.
As a former Real Estate broker, I have worked with many contractors.  But in all my experience, I have never met anyone as professional as Andy.  When it comes to decorating, I can be very indecisive.  Andy had the patience of a saint, putting up with my changing my mind re counter colors,
plumbing fixtures etc.  Always, telling me, "don't worry, I will take care of it."
Like other reviewers mentioned, I was very impressed with Andy's attention to detail.
The completed job was beyond my expectations  The old wood floors that he refinished looked like new. The detailed tile work,he suggested,  was beautiful and the apartment was left spotless, ready for the new tenant to move in.
The job was completed in three weeks, as promised, at price agreed upon.  I have no doubt that Andy will get many referrals from me.

    GGL & Sons Construction, Inc.
These people are fantastic.  They're a pleasure to deal with.  Very smart & very professional.  When I explained what I wanted, George walked around the house & told me what he thought.  His ideas were much better.

In 2011 we had our daughter's bedroom re-done.  We shopped around & settled on GGL. We were so happy & impressed that when it came time to do the exterior (2015) we didn't shop around, we just called GGL.

The price was very reasonable considering everything they did & the little extras.  The quality of the work, the time it took, & their professionalism goes far beyond excellent & I can't say enough about their integrity.  They were like a part of the family while they were here.  You can bet I'll be calling them again!

    All County Contractors Inc
At the start lets say we are completely satisfied with the final product.  All issues involve the process that took longer than seemed reasonable and had several aggravating glitches.    We are not naive about construction issues having owned homes for 45 years.  This experience has included buying a house one week and having it flooded a week later six feet in first floor with a basement full of river water.  That experience took six months to make habitable..  We have also had full additions and know that issues arise.
However since we have been in S.Florida we have used Angie'sl ist and had fantastic results with A rated contractors for shutters, plumbing, AC, Electrical, granite, tile work, furniture repair, tree trimming, pest control etc  So when we decided to upgrade baths we looked on Angie's list and had three people come.  One not interested, one did not do this type of work and All County arrived punctually made a sensible bid and after some thought we signed contract on Sept 3.  At that time we made it clear we would be on vacation for a week or so--a period we assumed woulds allow time for vanity to get built
Marco came out punctually and quickly submitted a sketch..  After minor revisions we agreed on final plan.  We took responsibility for purchase of fixtures, new mirrors and vanity hardware.   We left on our trip and kept in touch with Marco.
Returned from trip on a Tuesday and we were told demolition would start on following Monday. We saw this as 3 or so days wasted.  However on the date specified Cesare arrived on time. but without all equipment he needed and withoutbhis helper who he had to go get because this mirror was too large for one person to handle.    Said he would return to finish demolition on Tues at 2, did not arrive until after 4.
Wed Marco came to check work and said vanity would be installed later that day or Thursday.  After some difficult communications were told it would not be ready until Friday.  It seemed to us it could have been made ready while we were away for a week.  Now comes the most annoying part as delivery was promised at 9.  Somehow between Plantation and Boynton Beach driver got lost.  Marco had to come over, find them and lead them to us after 12.  It had taken 4 hours to get to us. Meanwhile template for countertop scheduled for countertop11had to be put off until 4.  The next week plus one day was needed for two vanity tops to be done--not an unreasonable time  On the Tuesday after the  measurement made  the vanity tops installed with no issues and looked great.  Unfortunately during clean up helper removed a piece needed to complete tub surround.
Work also started on Plumbing with one sink completed.
Wed on time the plumbing completed, minor electric issue resolved, and patching done, but why not use time to do painting needed to finish where mirror removed?
Thirsday 10?29.  Cesare came and did the painting, put up mirrors.   Now the carpenters arrived at 4 P.M to install doors and drawers as well as hardware.  Finished at about 6:30 P.M.--but it looks good and works perfectly.
Friday 10/.30 Cesare returned to finish all remaining minor caulking etc and finished before noon.
So to sum up:  Work was done with excellent result, but Sept 3-Oct 30 seems too long for this size job.  Also though Marco is talented and a very nice guy getting in touch and communicating not always easy.  John and Vince promised "smooth" and what we got were a few too many bumps.

The job went off without a hitch. He got it all done despite having to deal with some afternoon rain showers. My wife can spot something that is not level from across the room was thrilled with all the work. We are both very happy with the results and love our new laundry room.
