    Superior Moving & Storage
    We took the advise from the estimator from Superior Moving & Storage. We actually took the time to go visit 3 moving companies storage facilities. One of them I wouldn't even store car parts. It was so un-organized and dirty I left without giving a 2nd thought. The other was decent but nothing compared to Superior Moving & Storage. Take the same advise I was given, you are storing all of your priceless possessions and items. Take the couple of hours to actually go and see these storage places. Superior Moving charged exactly what they quoted, and the storage facility was spotless. I was very impressed with the move, everything was padded and wrapped up in moving blankets. They used this thick plastic film to wrap my recliners and our sofa's. This was a top notch job and everything was delivered out of storage without a scratch. These guys are great movers and gave an honest price.

    Zippy Shell Storage and Moving
    I researched the best systems for storage and found Zippy Shell to be the best. I contacted Bill and told him we needed to lease some shells for our impending move. He sent a shell right over. We have a lot of furniture so we soon filled it. I order a second shell from Bill and he sent another over. We again filled that one and I requested a third shell. He sent that one over as fast as the others. When we found a home out of state, Bill coordinated efforts with our mover to have the mover come over to Zippy Shell and pick up the contents of the three shells to be loaded on the truck. It all went great. I highly recommend Bill and Zippy Shell of Northern Virginia.

    Life Storage
    The storage facility failed to notify us of the flood and they painted the outside of the storage unit to conceal the water damage. I turned in my losses of about $8,000 and the storage facility only offered $2,000 for damages. They have made no other attempt to take care of our property or compensate us for emotional loss. It was a climate controlled building therefore we felt as though our belongings would be safe.

    Very professional and patient company. Contacted them on recommendation from a neighbor. We drove them a bit crazy with dates as we were building a new home and construction delays kept causing changes.  Eventually we had no choice but to move due to the sale and closing of home we were living in prior to our new home being completed.  J. Bonnie sent over two trucks and full compliment of movers, helped pack items and professionally moved entire contents into their secure storage facility.  Over the course of five weeks, they kept in touch reserving and moving dates for us based on permits and closing dates constantly changing.  When we finally booked many of the same guys who packed our house came to unpack us in the new home.  I would highly recommend them for trustworthiness, professionalism, cleanliness, caring and integrity.

    I have had the worst experience with White Lion Movers then I have had with any other company in my life and I have dealt with some bad companies.  I originally chose White Lion because they had a B on Angie's List with 85 reviews.  I figured there is always a few bad reviews here and there but a B average is respectable and they were located in Boca where I was moving.  I am now convinced the majority of the Angie's List reviews for them are fake which I will go into the reasons why but I will be investigating them further.  If you look this company up on any other website which I did not do until after having trouble you will see 1 star and F reviews, Yelp is a good example, with 4 horrible reviews.
    So when I first made the phone call I was connected to this guy ?Neil? if that is even his real name, he was a very slick salesman.  He told us they had an excellent rating and an average of 2% insurance claims vs an industry standard of 14%.  I asked them for an estimate and he told me it was impossible to give one but that there guys are $45 an hour per guy and that the more guys we had on the job the quicker it would be.  He said they moved a customer out of a 6,000 square foot house with three guys in under four hours.  So I scheduled an appointment for them to move my computers, chairs, files, three desks, a TV,  and some filing cabinets leaving 95% of the desks and furniture that my landlord owned.  To reduce the cost and make it easy we boxed everything and labeled it with the letter of the location it was going to the new office with a map of each location.  We were moving from 2,900 square feet to 1,500.
    I scheduled the move for Saturday August 31st the weekend of labor day along with my IT vendor, comcast, cubical installer, locksmith, and our phone vendor because that was the first non work day after my contractors finished construction.  We had to do everything at the same day so that we had internet, phones, etc for our staff coming in off of the long labor day weekend.   The idea was to have everything ready Saturday so that we could iron out any kinks on Sunday and Monday.
    I had purchased six new small desks and chairs from the container store for our real estate agents prior to our move date that were not yet put together and asked White Lion if I could hire them to help with the install.  They were scheduled for 8am Friday the 30th of August, the day prior to the move.  First they showed up around 9:35 which was annoying since I have a business to run and time is a precious commodity for me but it wasn?t a big deal in the overall scheme of things so I didn't say anything about it.  Two guys finally showed up they were not very friendly but got to business putting the desks together.  This is when the red flags started.  They shoved some paperwork at me telling me its stuff they have to have signed before they get started, which put me in a situation that I did not have time to read it because they already had me running an hour and a half late.  Since I booked the appointment two weeks prior if they wanted to me to really have a chance to read it they could have provided it to me at the time the appointment was scheduled.  I believe one of the files was an estimate that had three movers in it but they crossed and put two but it had $2,000 as the number in the estimate which they assured me was just a formality and that I would not be charged that much I still made them change the number to $1,000 to cap any potential issues.  About an hour later when they were finished with the desks but before the chairs they were on the phone with their boss and told me I needed to pay them cash or check before they finished because they didn't accept credit cards.  Then they told me that my bill was $475 for 1.5 hours of work because it was a three hour minimum and there was a truck charge!  I questioned them about it and they shrugged saying it wasn't them it was their boss to which I called the office.  After speaking with someone on the phone they said they were sorry they forgot it was a ?multiday move? and that the charge would only be $306.  That was end of day one.
    I was already having bad feelings about these movers because of them not accepting credit cards and all the surprises with them asking for payment prior to finishing and inflating their charges but my hands were tied because I didn?t have time to find someone new.  So my staff and I spent the day not only packing but actually moving most of the boxes to the new office ourselves and putting all the stuff that needed to be moved in piles by the entrance labeling the desks that were staying with red paper and the boxes that were going with green paper and letters to the offices they needed to be.
    Saturday morning, the day of the move I was out of town on a pre scheduled trip while my business partner stayed to supervise.  We had some hiccups with comcast that were sorted out, the rest of the vendors did their jobs and left.  The movers had issue with moving two old large desks that were in the space.  I had called their office days earlier to ask if they could move them and was told it would be fine but on the day of the there was no recollection of the conversation I had.  It was then, about halfway through the move they asked for $1,800!  They broke down the bill saying it was 3 guys x $45 a guy for 6 hours plus one other guy for 2.5 hours plus 6 hours of truck time, taxes, $300 gratuity and a bunch of other BS!  All for a move that I could of and probably should of done myself with a truck and three guys in 3 hours. My partner and I ended up on a three way conference call explaining that we would pay Tuesday after we saw a written invoice when our bookkeeper was in the office with our business checks and after a heated conference call and some dead air time we were hung up on.  We called back to tell them we would pay because we needed our stuff to work on Tuesday and were told by the receptionist, 2 minutes after the movers were there that they had already left, and that Mike, the guy who hung up on us had left too.  She said that if we wanted our stuff we would have to schedule for Monday or Tuesday!  After basically begging with her we finally scheduled for 8am on Monday.
    The entire weekend was torcher, I couldn?t sleep, I couldn?t relax.  If you are a small business owner and have 9 people on staff that need desks and computers to start work after a holiday weekend and clients who assign work due on the weekend you understand how I felt.  After the experience I had I wasn't sure if they were going to try and charge us storage fees or even show up on time.  My concerns were justified when my partner was waited two hours from his 8am appointment only to call in and be told we were rescheduled until 12pm and that they demanded cash.  Then at 12pm he was told it would be 1:30pm to which they finally showed up at 2pm.  After $1,540 and a stress filled weekend they are finally delivering our stuff at this very moment.  I will never use this company again and would recommend anyone to steer very clear of White Lion Movers.  Also do your research because apparently there is a lot of this stuff going on in the moving industry, they bid you low, if at all and hold your stuff hostage until you pay cash so you can?t review or dispute their last minute inflated prices.

    From my first meeting with Arthur, the owner, I knew I was going to be in good hands. His professionalism, honesty, and caring was evident from the moment we discussed the move. He was able to accommodate my moving date and made the move from house, to storage, to new house an easy transition. Also, I cannot say enough wonderful words to describe the team responsible for packing and moving our things. They were kind, polite, efficient, and a pleasure to work with. Everything arrived in perfect condition and again, the team could not have been more helpful. It was great to have Arthur follow up to make certain everything went well and I would highly recommend this company to anyone who wants a positive experience with their move.

    I dont ever write reviews but I feel compelled to let every one else know that if you are thinking of using White Lion of Boca Raton, FL...DON'T.  First, trying to schedule a move out of storage was almost impossible.  I had to call them several times just to get a hold of someone.  When I finally scheduled our move they wanted a $500 depsosit to secure the date (which was suppose to go towards the cost of the move out).  OK, no big deal.  So when the movers show up with my furniture from their storage facility, not only did they jack up my contracted hourly rate from $210/hour to $250/hour, they did not apply the $500 deposit towards the cost of the move.  They would not take my furniture off the truck until I agreed. They said to call the corporate office and talk it over with them.  So they had me over a barrel.  Now the fun begins, where is all my furniture.  They were here for about 7 hours and when the truck was empty we were missing some very big items (wall unit, patio furniture, piano legs ect...).  The forman then informed me that they have another vault in the warehouse and they will bring it the next day, which they did minus a wall unit, Patio set, and a whole bunch of various other stuff (some expensive, some not).   How do you lose a wall unit? Anyway that was four days ago and havent heard from them since.  Not even a courtesy call to let me know they are looking for my furniture.  
    On a positive note the actual movers that took our furniture both on and off the truck were terrific.
    I know I am just one review of many regarding WL.  So you decide.

    Jennifer and Chris are a married couple that run the business.  Jennifer responded to my call promptly and set up an appointment at the house.  She arrived on time and gave a very reasonable estimate.  We selected the date and she gave us some hints on where to get boxes at a great price (Home Depot) and how to save time.  The day of the move went seamlessly.  They arrived on time with a 4 man crew plus Chris.  All of the workers were so polite, professional and worked so fast yet carefully.  They moved and re-moved any thing we asked.  They set up all the beds and the entertainment centers and even moved some of the existing furniture at the new house.  Because the garage floor wasn't dry at the new house they came back last Friday to move just the garage shop and patio.They also took marked boxes and furniture to storage!  They were terrific on every level!!!  We plan to use them again when we move the storage to a new condominium.  Would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
