Septic Tank Cleaning reviews in Boca Raton

    Mr. Rooter of Broward County
Our situation was urgent. The septic tank was overflowing after showers and laundry. Andrew and Sheryl August and their staff were honest and  reliable. The came right away and gave a free estimate.,They were pleasant, on time, and  pushed the permits and job through as fast as possible. They kept regular communication regarding permits and when work would be done and completed. The job was completed quickly, efficiently, and neatly. We interviewed many companies and chose this one because we were impressed with and appreciated their price, competence, demeanor and professionalism.

    ARF Plumbing Co Inc
moved in about 2 months ago, and noticed a foul odor coming from the
septic tank lid area, which in our case, is located inside of a finished
planting bed, near the front of the house.
    looked ARF up on
Angie's, and explained the situation to Sheila the owner.  She told me
that she would find out as quickly as possible when the next truck would
be in our area and let me know.  In less than 24 hrs, she called me and
advised that a truck was in the area and could come now! - thankfully
it was only that the lid had NOT been reattached correctly, but I opted
for a  pumping anyway, since the former owners of 6 yrs had NOT.
    THANKS SHEILA AND ANGIES!

    Du-All Plumbing
Du-All has a great low-ball price $275.00 for the first 1000 gallons. You call them up, and they're prompt. The people who come are neat, tidy, and well mannered. We've used them since we moved here, and I won't do it again.

Yes, their guys are well trained and polite, but they come up to you with "Hey pal, friend, etc..." I just wanted to show you something. They show you water on top of a full septic system and spin all kinds of nice yarns about what you need in addition to that bargain $275.00.

Now most people don't know s**t about their box down there, nor do they want to. You could be staring at something or nothing, and not know the difference other than how this plumber is selling it to you. I asked a neighbor who's a GC about the need for back-flushing and the other $400 worth of equipment to bring our system "up to code" that was pitched to me when they did the service in 2011.

As far as the "code" stuff, there is no mandatory upgrade of systems by the county that we could find. The code is not retroactive, although it was modified several years ago. My neighbor told me that you didn't need to upgrade, and hundreds of thousands of septic systems before the code change are operating just fine.

We also called other services here. Most don't back-flush. They may well have performed the service, but I'm not certain they did, as several companies said that usually entails sending another truck out because the sand/silt that the flush creates pose problems for their equipment. Maybe Du-All has better trucks. I don't really know. Once they start me to questioning what they do, though, it's a slippery slope of my trust and it does not give me the comfort level to call them out again.

I find this kind of grey-area marketing really offensive. I'm sure it's profitable, but I hate being hustled in the first place, and a contractor failing, pun modestly intended, the sniff test, on their information being pitched as urgent-action requiring hundreds of dollars out of me. Even if they put it, over the three or four times they've been here, like: "You really aren't required to do this, but you might consider..." I would be good with it. They push it like Armageddon will happen if you don't listen to them. The guy who came out hours later to do the actual pumping even tried to hustle one of my house guests, which I find inexcusable.

We've been running our system through several of these warnings without incident, lending me to believe that the GC knows what he's talking about, and our friends at Du-All are just a bit enthusiastic about their sales pitches. Good price, work performed is satisfactory, but the sales side-show is a big turn-off for me in the professionalism category.
