I called office for an appointment to have my eye looked at for irritation. The office told me they had an opening for 2:30 that day. I was there early and was told to have a seat. I wasn't looked at until almost 5 PM. When I asked if there was a problem to be waiting so long, the nurse told me I was a fit in. I explained that they consulted a calendar when I called and said there was an opening at 2:30 with Dr.Jeffrey Perlman. He seen me and advised I had no infection and the nurse wrote two prescriptions. I was in and out of his office in 10 minutes. When I asked questions from the doctor and nurse, they were very abrupt and uttered vague and hurried answers, that I could barely understand or hear. l do appreciate the fact that I was seen the same day, but they should have explained that I didn't have an appointment and would be waiting for an opening. I was there previously for a routine yearly exam with a different doctor and it went much smoother. There was no explanation or communication from the staff after I entered the office, other than signing in. I would never go there again.

On time.  Complete analysis.  Listened to what I wanted for focal lengths.  Wrote prescription for lens.  Monitored eye(s) internal condition, change from prior appointment, measured pressure (no pain!), dilated pupils.  No complaints.  Medicare paid for general exam.  I paid $40 for lens prescription.

My sons right eye is fairly useless after doctor butchered him. He has permanent ghosting as well as severe irregular astigmatism and had to change his major in college from Math because he cannot differentiate numbers. He could not continue working as a computer programmer either. This procedure from this doctor had ruined my sons life. And dr cohen didn't even refund the money. The industry will have you believe there is almost zero chance of a bad outcome but it actually is over 20% of a less than perfect outcome call for further details jayericsilver@gmail.com
Severe irregular astigmatism by definition means the doctor screwed up and research shows refractive surgery is the number 1 cause. Lastly dr cohen and the profession knows any type of refractive eye surgery should not be performed until the patient is 21, my son was 18. Shame on you dr cohen

When i called they got me in the same day. I had a 2:30 appointment, I was not seen until 4:45 by a different doctor and he acted like he was doing me a huge favor.. I was told by the nurse " our doctors are very busy" like i am not. I asked if the delay was because i was fit in. I was told it is because of electronic records and i can always expect a delay. It turned out i did not have an infection and was told to get tears over the counter for dry eyes.I asked any particular he said no. There are 20 brands. The pharmacist gave me more information and help than the doctor. I wasted a whole day and had to put up with attitude. Never again.

It didn't go very well in my estimation. Everyone was nice and took me promptly in but I didn't receive anything resembling what I expected and had previously experienced with my last ophthalmologist. The first thing I was told was that the actual eye exam for contacts would be an extra $45. I was okay with that even though it wasn't mentioned when I made the appointment. The doctors assistant did my glaucoma test and the Dr. did little more than look in my eyes for 30 seconds and tell me I'm done. I asked why I wasn't receiving a field vision exam and a corneal nerve exam along with contact lens exam. All I got was "we don't do that here". I have never heard of an eye doctor that doesn't do eye exams. The staff were friendly and took me in promptly but I probably should have saved the gas and stayed home as I can get no eye exam at home.

I was so impressed with the people that worked in the store. They took their time and helped me and were very patient in helping me select a new look. I tried on many frames and they made some great suggestions. The glasses came in quickly and they are wonderful. They didn't need any adjustments and I can see perfectly. I love how they look. I would definitely recommend this store which is now called The Grove Opticians.

I thought the office was friendly and efficient. This is a huge practice for a reason. They have caring doctors and the latest equipment  which provided me all the detailed information I wanted and the doctor spoke in plain English, not to arcane that you don't know or understand what is going on or what the results were.
My mother of blessed memory love Dr. Rand and his staff and he helped with her drooping eye lid and glaucoma.  They always treated her with kindness, respect and outstanding eye care.
You couldn't choose a better practice.

It did not go well. I was unhappy with the way they handled their billing. They did not do the procedure, but I had an examination by Dr. Janowitz, who is the doctor. I don't have any bad things to say about him, but he suggested I go to the scheduling office. I was not happy with the manner in which the billing was going to be done and how it was being put through Medicare and my other insurance. It was done different than anybody else I have dealt with in the ophthalmology field.

I found Dr. Myers to be extremely forthcoming about my problems and very patient in explaining all of the options for treatment. Each visit I have had with him has been a good experience. He is a caring individual in a time when not all medical personnel demonstrate that quality.

Excellent physician and staff; well-run office; physician and staff did a thorough examination. I was treated for eye allergies and they prescribed medication and gave me education. I will definitely see this provider in the future and would recommend this group to anyone who needs opthalmology eye care.
