    Everything was handled efficiently. Susanna Burns knows who to call for donations and to haul stuff away. She tries to get maximum price for your items. She is a very shrewd businesswoman and will get the job done without your having to do anything. I was unable to assist in the disposal of my household stuff and I was happy to have someone take over and relieve me of the stress.

    TERRIBLE! I went into the Boca Raton store and purchased a mattress which was a TemperPedic for $1999. The salesperson assured me that I could return it within up to 30 days if I did not like it. After two sleepless nights, I knew the mattress was not going to work. I returned to the store and chose another mattress. The new mattress was $1199. They came and delivered the new mattress two days later and picked up the TemperPedic. I was shocked that they did not issue me a credit for the difference between the two mattresses, and I received a bill for the full amount of the TemperPedic. Immediately I called Synchrony and opened up a dispute. Since they have refused to give me a credit, I will be initiating a lawsuit against City Furniture. My best advice is to STAY AWAY FROM CITY FURNITURE. FAR AWAY. They are the worst and their ratings speak volumes. Shame on you, Keith Koenig, President of City Furniture, for your deplorable business practices. I will be filing a lawsuit in Small Claims Court as others have done successfully.

    On couch & chairs - we requested earliest possible delivery.  They had the couch but didn't tell us.  They were going to make us wait for the couch until the chairs arrived (6 wks)....it was a fluke that we found out about it and had it delivered.  Chairs came as planned within 8 weeks.
    The pillows (same fabric as the couch) - were promised in 6-8 weeks.  After 10 weeks, they still had not arrived.  I called the store and asked why they were taking so long and was told, "I don't have a clue.".... that is absolutely true!  I called customer service who "explained" to me that the 6-8 weeks was an estimate.  That is NOT what we were told on purchase.  10 years is an estimate too....but if that had been the case I wouldn't have made the purchase, but that is clearly why they operate this way.   If there had been a delay in fabric, why were the chairs on time?  Even if there was a delay, they should have contacted me.  STILL DON'T HAVE THE PILLOWS!
    I called customer service and requested  monetary compensation for such an inconvenience and aggravation.  She said she would call the store and call me back.  She never called me back.  I am now told that the new date is even later and they would call me at that time to schedule a time for me to pick them up.  REALLY!?! 
    I will NEVER do business with La-Z-Boy again.

    The headset on my husband's side fell apart.  I thought I purchased a warranty that covered everything and when I called them they said that the warranty was up and that the warranty was only for stains.  The sales people were not upfront about the extended warranty that they sold me.

    Baer's has a large selection of catalogues to go through plus lots of samples on the showroom floor.  My salesperson, Rajni Jagwani, was very helpful during the selection process.  I got a very good price on the mattresses and ordered the headboards at the store.  Paperwork was efficient and fast.  The beds were delivered and assembled very quickly.  My guests are very satisfied sleeping on them.

    I think they failed at basic customer service and being impolite to my wife.
    They set up the table and it didn't work correctly, when my wife called to explain they told her it's her fault she doesnt know how to use the table and she should call customer service.
    WELL DONE make the client feel stupid.
    I am returning the table and will take my business elsewhere.

    They represented their merchandise as first quality and it is not.  I have had this three years and one end where I sit most often the seat is sunken.  I've had plenty of couches in my lifetime, including some lesser quality stuff from places like Rooms to Go and Levitz and some pieces for ten years or more, never had this happen.  
    I called Ronnie (the sales manager and guy who sold it to me) and he said it was still covered by warranty and he would send someone to look at it.  The guy who showed up said right away "I supposed they didn't tell you there is a charge for me to come out here" and I said yeah, you suppose right.  So he says he'll bill the store for $85 and see if they will pay it.  He said to replace the foam in the seat cushion with the same "cheap stuff" it was made with would be $400, but if I wanted him to replace it with something that wouldn't collapse like that it would be $800.  He would see if the factory would honor the warranty but he seriously doubted it....said he had never seen them accept responsibility.
    Never heard back from him so called Ronnie again.  Told him what had transpired.  Now he says it's not under warranty, then corrected that statement to say it was a pro-rated warranty (this was just a the very end of the warranty so that really means no warranty).  He said he would fax the repair guy right away to see what he found out.  Never heard back.
    So it's my opinion that you should not buy anything from this company, I certainly will never do so again.

    I bought a couch and a loveseat. The couch is a convertible, and it does not close properly. I have had them come to my house 4 times. They had been really good about coming over to look at the furniture. One person told me I had to punch the pillows to get them to close properly. I went to the store yesterday and asked if someone would show us on the store model. They don't have the couch in store anymore. I asked them to come over and show my cousin how to close the couch properly and the manager told me there was nothing they could do for me. I called customer service and they also told me there is no defect, and there is nothing they can do. It is not a warranty issue, or a defect. The repair man was able to put the couch back together, but I am still unable to get the pillows to match back up.

    My experience has been wonderful with them until now. I had never had any problems with their service. The recent events are unfortunate and it has turned me off from using them or recommending them in the future. I have sent several friends and family through the past couple years and I will no longer be doing that.

    I had to call many times and finally write letters to the manager to get some action. Their solution did not work and did not address our concerns. The sofa continues to deteriorate in firmness and support. I am not satisfied with their response and will not purchase from Carls Furniture again.

    LONG STORY SHORT...DURING DELIVERY OUR HOME WAS DAMAGED. EVERY ITEM DELIVERED WAS DAMAGED IN SOME WAY. NO GUARANTEE WOULD BE GIVEN THAT REPLACEMENT FURNITURE WOULD NOT BE DAMAGED. THEY ORIGINALLY PROMISED TO PAY FOR DAMAGES TO OUR HOME BUT WHEN WE REQUESTED TO RETURN ALL FURNITURE AND GET A REFUND THEY REFUSED TO PAY FOR DAMAGES. CREDIT WAS NOT RECEIVED IN THE INITIAL ORDER FOR OVER A MONTH. CREDIT WAS RECEIVED ON THE ADDITIONAL CHEST BUT THEN A STOP PAYMENT WAS MADE BY MATTRESS MART AND THEIR BANK CHARGED US THE STOP PAYMENT. MATTRESS MART FINALLY ADMITTED THEIR ERROR BUT NO CREDIT RECEIVED TOO-DATE. THEY SHOULD JUST SELL MATTRESSES!!!!
