    Master Painting and Remodeling
Had an amazing experience with Master Painting and Remodeling! They were able to understand what I wanted and make recommendations. After the superb interior paint job, kitchen, and bathroom remodeling, I can say my house feels like a home.

It went great. I dealt with Tony and his daughter Melissa and they were knowledgeable and professional. They were very accommodating and pulled the permits and got the job done. We are very happy with the results and I would highly recommend them.

    Trinity Asphalt Paving Inc
They did the job, sort of. They were late, they didn't do everything they promised in the executed contract, and failed to return to finish what was promised. I called several times and they were very nice, said they would make good on their promises, but never showed up again. The driveway wasn't saw-cut, as stated in the contract, the elevation of the flare-out was not correct, and because they didn't prepare the old driveway as specified, there is now grass growing up through the new asphalt. I am terribly disappointed and disillusioned by companies who promise one thing and deliver another. I would not recommend this company unless they finally call me back and come and actually finish the job for which they were paid in full.

Great person, responsive, honest, and affordable price. Did my driveway last year, contact him this year, granted the repair. Good business practice you don't see much in Florida. Very reliable. Thanks.

    All American Pressure Cleaning LLC
I bought a deal on Angie's list. Over all, they were good. They called to let me know that they were running behind and would be late which I really appreciated. They were very nice and did a decent job. After they left, I noticed a few minor areas that were skipped/missed or could've used more attention. I should've pointed out those areas in fairness. I would recommend them and I would use them again.

    Terra Tiles & Pavers
I have been renovating my home for over a year and have seen many trades arrive to our home.  In all truth, Terra Tiles and Pavers have been the easiest company to deal with throughout this entire year journey.  I wish our contractor was as organized as Javier. Javier arrive to our home promptly and I could immediately tell that he knew what he was talking about with the installation of this large circular driveway with Travertine and understood my concern with having a large SUV and cracking.  He recommended doing a upgrade with a footer all around the perimeter of the driveway...we agreed that was the right way to go.  He had no problem that I purchased the Travertine through another company, with my back yard pool deck material so that they matched shades.  I pulled my own permit for the job and Javier let me know when to call for an inspection, which was all approved promptly.  I was under a time crunch and he was able to meet my expectations with timing.  In fact, we were delayed a couple days, due to all our afternoon rain, so he brought a large crew out on Saturday to complete the job.  Very impressed by Javier and office staff on their communication and their working with my irrigation company who had to drop sleeves in the middle of the job.  They actually spoke to one another, which is rare I'm finding.
Javier, please feel free to have potential customers drive by our home to see the finished work.
    Thanks again!!

    Terra Tiles & Pavers
The process went great form the beginning.  Javier showed up right on time for the initial appointment and provided a quote that evening via email.  The quote was very professional and even included a drawing scoping out the entire project.  The professional drawing is a nice touch that no other company provided to us or they wanted a deposit from us before they would spend the time to do the drawing.  I thought this was a nice touch by Terra Pavers and made me feel more confident about the work they would provide since the first step of the process was more professional than any of the other four companies I had gotten quotes from.
Javier was always very prompt at returning my calls and emails and I never had to wait more than a couple of hours to get a response from him.  This was another thing I enjoyed about doing business with Terra Pavers because some other companies did not get back to me for a day or more.
Once we signed the contract, the permits were acquired and the pavers ordered and work began in about a couple of weeks (as soon as the pavers were available from the manufacturer.)  Once their crew started, everything went by very quickly.  The excavation was done on one day and the pavers took a couple of days to install due to the size of our project.  Javier also showed up each day of the process to make sure it was going smoothly and everything was done correctly.
The end result was amazing!!  I get compliments on the driveway everyday from all of my neighbors in the neighborhood.  I own another home and will be calling Terra Pavers to put in a new driveway there as well.  I would highly recommend using Terra pavers for any type of paving job you have!

They came on time.  They were professional, telling me what they were going to do and how long I should wait before putting the cars back on the driveway. The driveway looks fabulous.  They predicted it would last for 2 to 3 years.  I am very pleased with the results.

    Ross Services
Old Driveway removed. They have subcontractors that did all the work.
The project manager did NOT have a color chart for me to look at for color of stamped cement that we were replacing it with.
The SUBCONTRACTOR made sure that I FINLLY got a color chart..... The day before the driveway was to be poured.
After the SLIPPERY driveway was completed...... by Ross Services standards. Meaning.... I still found the overall project unfinished because they still hadn't filled in the gullys that were along the sides from where the old driveway had been removed and the driveway was EXTREMELY slippery! I wanted to make sure all permits were at least passed and closed.
The project manager was upset with me because I wanted to make sure all the subcontractors were paid by Ross Services and the permits were final before I made final payment. The project manager was extremely condescending to me throughout the entire project.
When I gave him half of the final payment (because I still didn't have all the permits signed off.) He said in his usual condescending and Kurt tone..."Well, I'm not coming all the way here to get the rest of the payment! You're going to have to get it to me!"
FINALLY, he managed to call to have the final inspections. (When I called for the exact same thing a year ago, it only took one day. It took him nearly a month!)
I sent my final payment to the owner...because I could not stand to even be around this "project manager" any longer. Plus, I wanted to let him know that the job was not satisfactory......I wrote a letter to the owner, Brian Ross of Ross Services stating that I was still UNsatisfied with the gullys that were still dug out along the sides of the driveway. This is a HUGE hazard! I also expresses my dissatisfaction on how slippery the driveway was. (They never put a no-skid mixture in with the sealant.) I waited 2 weeks to drive on the driveway after completion to make double sure it was completely dry. The driveway is on an incline. It was so slippery that my tires spun out on it going up.....making tire tracks and tearing the brand new top coat off as I slid backwards down it. (This driveway is at my 80 year old mother's home.)
The owner never even bothered to call me back.
This was such an unpleasant experience.
I am going to have to pay ADDITIONAL money on my brand new driveway to have the gullys along the side filled and a no-skid surface applied on top.
I blame the "project manager for his incompetence and blatant rude and condesending tone.
But, ultimately, the owner of he company has the last say.....after all, he hired this "project manager", and when I expresses my dissatisfaction, he did NOTHING!

    USI Professional Insulation
We have 3 rentals and will use Wharton if we ever need more work. |Our rentals are on hills, and they suggested a berm on the lower side of the drive. They were right, and didn't mound gravel and go over that to make it. They used all asphalt. Another company used the gravel mound which flattened, which caused run off to escape into the neighbors window well, flooding their downstairs. Lesson learned... |
