    Sunshine Tree Trimming
This is the second time Nelson and his crew have taken excellent care of the trees on our property. You can tell that Nelson genuinely cares about the health and welfare of trees. Each tree is accurately described in the written estimate along with the recommended service and suggested and very reasonable price specific to that tree. The crew is prompt, efficient and careful in their work The photos will give you an idea of the quality of their work.

    All Dade Tree Svc
Fernando was there when he said he would be to provide an estimate ( in pouring rain! ) and he was there when he said he would be to do the actual work. He and his crew did a fantastic job. Highly recommend him. I feel quite fortunate to have picked the right company.

    Parsons Tree and Landscaping
The job started by taking off the height of the tree. This was tricky because the area where the tree could fall was restricted. Stan did a pretty good job in predicting the falls for the larger cuts. After amassing several branches in the area below the tree, Stan would clean up by draggging the branches away to be mulched. I requested not to keep the mulch, but it is optional the owner can keep it. This was a long job. I was very happy than Stan was able to cut the tree and save the two palms growing close to it.

By a stroke of luck, Nelson happened to be in the neighborhood when I called for an estimate. He came over when he said he would and looked at the situation. After I told him what we wanted done, he told me in general what he'd like to do. I could tell he actually cares for the health of the trees. He spent a good amount of time alone in my yards, forming a plan of action and writing out a detailed, line item estimate. When I read the estimate, I could clearly see that what he planned to do would be good for the trees and our roof. The prices seemed fair for the massive amount of work that had to be done so we put down the deposit and two days later, the oak trees were trimmed and thinned, the Orchid tree removed and the stump (and another stump) were ground. The other orchid tree was thinned and trimmed. The debris was stacked neatly on our berm and our oak trees look majestic. Nelson also gave me an estimate for the work on the mango, and we will definitely bring him in again (after all the fruit drops) to give it some TLC. Nelson does what he says he'll do, when he says he'll do it and for a fair price.

Nelson and his crew were meticulous and careful. Three large oak trees, a huge, beautiful Hayden mango and an orchid tree had not been thinned for many years and we were worried about losing them to hurricanes. They trimmed all the trees but the mango in July and made the oaks look even more majestic. They came back to thin the mango after she had dropped all her fruit in August. Then came Irma. Our trees came through the storm with very little damage; only losing leaves and a few small branches. Our neighbor's untrimmed avocado and mango were uprooted and destroyed.

    True Tree Service
The guys did an amazing job. I called on Monday, the job was done by 5.30pm on Tuesday and there was no rush put on it. I can't begin to describe the transformation, including the removal of an invasive tree. Our two huge trees now look like works of art and we can see our roof and the side of our house. The work they did was outstanding. I wouldn't hesitate to call them again for anything. Friendly, courteous and incredibly hard working.

Pink & Green Lawn Care & Landscaping
This company did a big landscaping job for our home early last year. I have been meaning to write a review on them for a while, but every time I think of their landscape designer, Scott, my blood boils. At the time, we were excited to use this company because of the positive reviews my husband and I had read on Angie's List. These reviews are not as positive anymore. We were also excited to use this company because they had availability in their schedule to do our landscaping. Every other company we had called was too busy with work to even come out and give us a quote. Scott arrived to give us a quote. From the moment we met him, I had a bad feeling. He was arrogant and pushy. He was always smoking and would park his truck in the middle of the street as opposed to looking for a space. But, we went with him anyways since we wanted the work done and no one else seemed to be available. That was my fault for not following my gut. The landscapers who did the actual work were fine. They basically follow what they're told to do. Originally, stones were placed on our porch. The job done was awful and we requested that they be removed and pavers placed instead. Scott sent over some pavers that looked as if they had been picked up off the side of the road. We called the office and complained and were then allowed to choose our own. I would not recommend this company for pavers. After this occurred, we became extra weary. Scott mentioned that we needed new sprinklers and offered to do the work himself on the side. We thought that was sketch. We had our sprinklers looked at by another company later on and they were just fine. They just needed some maintenance. I could go on and on about our issues with this company, but, needless to say, I would not recommend them. To her credit, Jennifer S., at the front office, was always professional and responsive, but I don't think she has any idea as to the unprofessionalism of some of her colleagues. I feel like we were ripped off and the work done could have been completed in half the time. That was yet another issue.

    Arborcare Inc
They were very professional and the price was good. They showed up on time and hauled away all the debris. When they removed one of the palm trees a big piece fell and broke 5 of my patio stones. They replaced those broken stones. They've been very nice to work with. I would not hesitate to use them again.

    Tree Masters
There are a few issues:  First, the trees in our front yard past the sidewalk are owned by the city. Treemasters told me that they would check with the city before doing any of the work. Later, they told me that he had checked the city website and that the trees were my responibility to maintain despite the city owning them - so I hired him. After the work was completed, an irate city arborist who had driven by my house informed me that not only were the trees maintained by the city (and therefore I wasted my money paying to have them trimmed), but I was also subject to fine due to the damage done by Treemasters to the trees.  The city arborist characterized the work as a "hack job" and "hat-racking", and was incredulous that an actual certified arborist would do work of such poor quality.  It threatens the health of the trees and is ma

this is consistent with the quality of work on the oak trees in the back which I do own - the branches are just sawed off, rather than being cut at joints, and I now have small branches growing like bushes on all the branches that were sawed off.  This will lead to more leaves and branches breaking in the long-run and has made a total eyesore.

The city arborist followed up with Treemasters to understand why they did such poor work, and Treemasters said they would drive by to look at what the problem might be.  Needless to say, they never did so since they were there when they performed the work.  I emailed them saying I had been misled, was in trouble with the city, had badly damaged trees, and had wasted my money.  I ask for my money back as per the 100% Satisfaction guarantee on the website http://treemastersfl.com/.  In response to my email they offered 6 hours of free labor correcting the issue (remember, without driving by to review their work), which I take as an acknowledgement they did a terrible job and as an attempt to not have to make it fully right.
